beatcoins: Quilox ? Your biggest mistake. All these places you mentioned are hangouts for coded oloshos. A good wife material lives with her parents, has a skill or proffeession, does not spend odd hours of the night on instagram and whatsapp, not looking like yellow custard while she was born black. Can only boast of having max 3 xboyfriends, and when you find her, shes already taken by someone who holds her in high esteem. These places you call, beer joints and eatery will be your biggest mistake. Only a girl who cant cook leaves her house in mid day to buy lunch at an eatery Gbam! |

Culture › Re: Ooni Ogunwusi And Olugbo Akinruntan In Supremacy Battle by dokunbam(m): 8:30am On Dec 05, 2016 |
Tolexander: Obat seems to be just wealthy but lacks the place of reasoning and understanding on this Moremi issue!
Moremi had a strategy to liberate her people (Ife) from the incessant raids by the ugbo in masquerade-like costumes, this made them looked like super being . She went to River Esinmirin to pray and promised to sacrifice his son, Oluorogbo, to the river if she comes back.
During the next ugbo raid, Moremi surrendered herself to be captured and taken to ugboland. There she was married by the king for some years. She got to know the secret of these ugbo people and sneaked out one day back to Ife.
The following raid by the ugbo, Moremi had prepared her people (Ife) against the raid, the ugbo raiders were conquered and defeated. That ends the incessant raid by the ugbos on Ife land.
Ife is strategic place in the historical values of Yoruba people, how would someone in the place of King Obateru tell the Yoruba race not to celebrate the liberator (or liberatress if their is a place of feminizing) of the town, Ife?
Just like telling the Europeans not to celebrate Arthur Wellesley for conquering Napoleon Bonaparte at the battle of Waterloo, when France had almost got the whole of Europe to herself. Though France may not like him.
Or telling the Jews to call Queen Esther a villain from saving her people from Hamman |

OloriAbefe: Hmmm, my most embarrassing moment wasnt funny at all. Okay, it goes down lyk dz. On a cool Sunday afternoon, we just got back from church, was having a NYC toast bread with hot chocolate with my fiance and there was a knock on the door. Alas, my fiancée mum, immediate elder bro and younger sis...was so happy to see them. I welcomed them in and I was like, what do I offer them? My sis in-law didn't even waste a minute before pouncing on my portion of toast bread and tea. My mother in-law was like "iyawo, bami ro amala to fele pelu obe ogunfe( make me amala and goat meat stew). Naso I run enter kitchen go carry basket and off to the market to get goat meat. Naso I just dey do " kurukere kurukere insyd kitchen", all sweaty and going from here to there and all that, my mother was like, "Iyawo, well-done" and I'll smile. My people, while making the stew sha, I refuse to pour the sachet salt insyd its container b4 using it, I just cut the sachet with the hope of pouring in the amount needed only for almost half of the content to pour insyd the stew. OMG!!!!! Don't ask me what happened next pls, cos it was so ....................... Eeya sorry |

davtosh: I went to check a friend at the Polytechnic Ibadan, around 1992 and I knocked on his door at the hostel I was hearing ppl chat and laugh inside. So I called his name and a guys voice answered " He is not around what should we tell him"
I replied " When he come tell..." They didn't allow me to land when I had eehn eewoo laughing at the bomb I dropped. They must be four or five and ladies were among them. In fact how it came out from my mouth I don't know "When he come"
I knew they were coming to open the door to see the face of the suicide bomber , Na so I run with the speed of light to wards a group of students coming and joined them, then we were coming together towards their door and I saw them open the door still laughing like hyaenas "old boy E DON vamoose" I had one say. Na so I just bone face waka pass with my "colleagues" Since that day I make sure im sure of what to say before talking ,cause by nature I stammer a little. Lol oh my God |

Alexk2: That's a fair request. Judges are expected to be above board but when found wanting like this case, it's be too shameful and embarrassing to the bar if they keep twisting facts and employing diversionary tactics like ordinary Nigeria politicians. Own up, take responsibility for you failures and be prepared to face the accompanying consequences; that's what it mean to be a man. |
