ThankGod001: Hello! I have made lots of research, contacted many awardees and have a compilation of study materials for dragnet exam.
I don't call them past questions because after the transition to CBT. Actual past questions are no longer accessible It's study materials for Agbami Dragnet exams are usually in 3 Numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning But Agbami, Chevron(now handled by ORM) use only 2(numerical and verbal) But Agip uses the 3 (numerical, verbal and abstract)

horpeyemmi66: Taking Physiology Seriously Or Getting Dentistry??
I am in my penultimate year studying Physiology at the University of Ibadan, I have gotten Jamb's UTME form in which I applied to study dentistry at ABU, Zaria, should I concentrate more on the UTME (Since the job prospects of Physiology are few) or take the Physiology seriously?
Lagusta, Eloise, Mandeyy, Dr.Lomaxx, angiography, RectusAbdominis, tonye001, DrThanos, Dbraniac1, oogway, dolapo74, gregdcutie, exorene, starfx, au79, Zico5, donpre, ISISs et al You are in the exam period now ,I hope I guessed right.Nevertheless ,I am very sure if you can devote at least four hours in a day to solving past question and with you residual knowledge you will be fine.Ensure you read Dele Ashade and the novel religiously for Use of English. With a 300 and above utme score and good post utme dentistry is sure. By the way, this is to degree certificate holder in courses such as biochemistry ,physiology ,anatomy, human nutrition that intend to go MBBS in University of Ibadan. From my exhaustive research ,Direct entry admission in UI is a based strictly on merit .The class of degree and o level grades in the five subjects is used to rank all the candidates irrespective of the school you graduated from. So I think best bet is first class and at least 2A1 and 3B.That will reduce the odds against such candidates. so you can attack GCE and garner all the A1 possible. I think 2.1 holder with very strong o level grades can stand a chance .However ,it is better you combine DE and utme. Good luck |

DrOptimistic: I am having a problem logging in to my jamb profile. After I put in my email and password, it keeps saying incorrect email or password and the password is correct. I am very sure of that. What could be the problem ?? Though I used the same number and password I used last year. The cbt operator in charge of my registration gave me a new password to use. I suggest that you go to cbt center. they should know better. |

Adindu140: Hi. I made a first class in microbiology and want to get a DE to medicine .pls which school would be okay that doesn't demand transcript and the admission process is transparent? University of Ibadan is just the best place for you. With a first class degree you have less odds against you |

NOBODYY: I'm 20. BSc Microbiology second class upper, I've registered for direct entry to medcine. I really hope I'm admitted this time. You should also write jamb to improve your chance of getting admission. You pick school like University of Ibadan that ensures admission by merit. Just get at least 310 in UTME and 80 in the post utme ,you will be fine |

No Second class upper was considered by the college of medicine admission committee ,this year and last year. The best bet now for degree holder with such class of degree is UTME.Only first class degree was considered With right consultation and proper personal preparation over 320 is sure .With 80 in post utme ,you will surely get medicine in University of Ibadan |

DrBESTJC: Hello Friends and My bosses here...
This is seriously what I never espected...I have never even given a thought to failure all this while...All my struggles, sleepless nights(studying),prayers, mindset and even the very air I breathe everyday of my preparations were all channelled towards SUCCESS . Imagine,I was so convinced that I will get admission to study MEDICINE this year that I have bought my school bag and some other things.
When my JAMB results were released this year(2018),I was very happy and elated when I saw 303 as my score.I continued to study and prepare for the UI PostUTME with zest. When the results were released, I saw 73 as my PostUTME score and 74.375% as my aggregate score.I was sad and worried because my target score is not less than 90. When I remembered that UI cutoff mark for medicine last year(2017) was 71.88% , I kept my fire of hope burning...but not without serious prayers and fasting.
Now,the cutoff mark for medicine this year has been pegged at 76.5%, and as you can see, I am just like 3 marks away from the cutoff mark.Since yesterday when I saw the cutoff marks,I have not been able to sleep. It is very very painful.
But friends,I am not here to ask you to pity me...no no no....This is my 4th failure since I started to pursue MEDICINE and I have learnt to brace up and struggle harder after each failure,....No matter what people will say..... I am writing this to seek counsel and sincere directions on my next line of action because I believe that a problem shared is half solved. Now,my questions are :
1) Since my score is high enough to get another course, I am thinking of doing a COC to courses that will allow me cross to medicine in year two like biochemistry, human Nutrition and physiology....but I heard that those courses are not advertised on the COC.....Is it true ?
2) What other courses can I go for apart from the aforementioned ones ?
3) If after accepting any other course, can I stay in the university(UI) and write JAMB and PostUTME again in the same UI in 2019? .... Can I abandon my present course then and accept admission to study medicine in the same University of Ibadan?
4) If I should decide not to accept any admission UI will offer me whatsoever(because my passion is seriously tied to medicine), do you think (from experience) that I will be able to study well if I get a job and come back for jamb next year?...The job will take like 8hours of my time everyday.I cannot just stay at home studying for a whole year idle...an besides nobody is willing again to give me any money for anything until I enter school, not even for jamb....because my people have given up on me.
5) Also on the Job issue,I am planning to buy a laptop and an android phone from my savings, but I am thinking of how I can convert it into a good source of income. Please friends,I am alone in the world now... I need to survive. What genuine and profitable online business can I do in my part time to make ends meet ? ......I have heard that students can work online and earn a decent pay,but I don't know much about it.If you are into any one of them,I would like to have your contact...
Please save a soul today.! Please ,can I have your number or email |

DrBESTJC: Hello UI bosses here....
Please this is very very very urgent..!!!
I have two friends who got 309 and 302 respectively in this year's Jamb exam but were not offered admission(to study medicine) in UNN due to the competitive nature of the school(i.e. Their names did not appear on the merit list that was just released)...
Their question now is...
1) Can We do a change of institution to UI since they have not conducted their Post UTME exam...?? OR
2) Is there any other thing we can do to get admission in medicine this year with our Jamb score..?....no matter the school..?? check oau and other state university |

gud pm bosses, i initially applied OAU Med Reb. But due to d method OAU used last yr in calculating which include d use of o'level result in which i av C's in ma neco except in Eng. I fear dat it will b hard to pull through. I thought of doing change of institution to UI on monday. Urgently need ur advice. I had 255 in jamb i want to apply for physiotherapy but madly inlove wit dentistry just scared dat dat score wont give me dentistry pls wat ur take on it. You will be save with 255 jamb score and a good post utme score say 75 for physiotherapy. However,if dentistry is what you want you need to aim for atleast 78 post utme score I advise that you check the cutoff mark for the two courses for past three years to make an informed decision |
