Wait? How come Rihanna is white?
Wasn't she supposed to be black?

Aside from the heavy make-up on her face, that is not a white skin, rather a light skin.

China isn’t even developed and rich compared to it’s other counterparts like Japan and South Korea, but I guess it is due to their enormous population earning the nation just $12,000 per capita.

The rich always subsidize the poor , that's how tax works in the western world . That's why the players negotiate contracts that allows them have a luxurious life after deducting taxes
Also why they go to Saudi Arabia because they earn a fat paycheck and don’t pay taxes there.

That's how tax work generally . The higher u are on the food chain, the higher ur tax is . What I pay now as tax is higher than what I pay 10 years ago even in naija . That's why it's called pay as you earn

Having almost half of your hard earned money split in half is daunting. Now it makes sense why athletes duck paying taxes like Messi and Ronaldo for example.

It doesn't change the fact that he got a good contract for his age and talent . That's the crux of the matter . All these Amala turning is just by the way .

10k per week for his services is a good and fair deal to all parties . Don't cry more than the bereaved .

Okay, Mr. BlueRayDick.

If u know that, then u should also know that Nwaneri as a 17 year old is getting a contract that places him above professionals in the financial circle who spent years in the university while he just wrote his GSCE as a teenager .

The crux of this whole matter is that u are wrong thinking he's not getting paid more than average as a teenager considering his talent. There are so many footballers older than him who don't even get paid as much as 10k gross .

For your information, Nwaneri is getting the same salary as man utd's Kobbie Mainoo on a gross .

At his age Neymar was already a prodigy with a fame no one else has seen. This “Nwaneri” is still a fledging and an unknown.

I don’t think any brand will want to bring sponsorship deals to a 17 y/o unknown fledging.

I don't understand what u are going on and about sef. 10k per week gross amount to 5k per week net for both footballers and doctors right ?

Now how many doctors , nurses , engineers , tech guys and finance guys do u know that earn 10k gross/5k net per week as entry level salary in the UK ?

Let's see if the 10k is a lot or not

It is a lot but I was expecting you guys to say something about how huge of a grueling tax footballers pay to the government. Footballers only earn about half their main salaries after taxes. So when you see £326,923.08 p/w, in reality it is £173,481.39 p/w.

Salah na striker nah

Better change your name to muguwood

Yup, that’s it. You barely understand the tactical aspect of football. Salah is an inside forward that often drift inside the box for goal scoring opportunities, eg; Mbappe, Mane, Messi, Ronaldo and so on. A traditional winger hugs the touchline and hold width. They rarely crash into the box for goalscoring opportunities, eg; Grealish, Kvara, Leao, Vinicus Jr and so on. That’s why those traditional wingers barely average up to 15gols a season, while those I call an inside forward average 30gols a season, and at one point in their careers have played as a ST (striker) for up to 30 games.

I dont think there's an actual truth. I just see two camps with different perspectives over the same issue.

No be today. Pep's controlling personality rubs off on some players negatively and they react. I dont see him changing his style for strays since it's gotten him this far.

Exactly, Do you remember when KDB told Pep to “shut up” in the 2nd leg of the UCL Vs Real Madrid. Yes, Mr Guardiola loves control.

Kounde is not injured, it's just a slight knock. He won't play their next game but will return to Barca. He's okay.

Side note, May be it's just me but I just don't like back 3. You need to be very tactically sound to execute it at the highest level.

The formation usually morphed into a back 5 when defending meaning you'll lose midfield control then shapes into a proper 3-2-4-1 when attacking. if you lose possession while attacking with men forward, a pacy attacker will finish you off if given the right pass.

I think you need lots of experience at the highest level to get it right. It exist in grassroot level but very rarely used. If you're watching December league, it's difficult to spot this formation, NPL, very rare. It's mostly 4 at the back because it's the basics of football and easy to learn and execute.

I think it's not a formation for rookie managers. As such, If Kounde is injured, I hope not, I'll rather we continue with 4 at the back even if it means playing Faye or Inigo at left back with Cancelo RB or Fort at RB with Cancelo at LB, or Araujo at RB with Curbasi & Inigo in the center. Just not a back 3.

We're coming up against a manager who's obsessed with possession football. With a back 3, we'll concede too much possession and remember that we defend better with the ball not without it!

Not entirely true what you said. A back three provides more defensive stability with a moderate attacking frontline. It is like playing a balanced formation where the score line never exceeds 3gols and you often keep clean sheets. There are varieties of back 3’s. If you place a 3-2-5 in possession, then it morphs to 4-4–2 out of possession. The key purpose of the back three in attacking teams is to provide stability to their defence when facing counter attacks, which, provides an extra man in defence.

Doing well, how’? Apart from being financially crippled, you’re 10pts behind your rival and potentially getting kicked off the UCL by Mbappe himself.

Wow, if that's the case, good for all parties. That will be great if it's true.

He's a top talent. Elite dribbling skills!

In today’s football, dribbling is superficial. Also, dribbling ≠ talent, you folks are aesthetic fiends. Talent is speed, shooting, hold up play, off the ball movement and playmaking in one piece.

I think that If we miss out on Nico and for 50m, we'll have ourselves to blame unless we're counting on Fati.

Felix is not Barca quality and he's on loan, Ferran is so so, Fati struggling at Brighton, Raphinha is unable to take on a cone even though he's doing better statistically. Let's not forget that Raphinha could be sold if need be.

Meanwhile, I'll like you to name wingers that could join Barca and are affordable. Remember that Leao is on ONE(1) league goal in SIX(6) months and will go for like 80 or 100m while Kvara is the definition of a one season wonder. He too will be super expensive.

We need a winger on the left. Pls highlight at most 3 wingers we could afford who are currently doing better than Williams jnr or are actual world beaters!

In today's market, I’m surprised you’re looking strikers who are world beaters when you know your club (Barça) could barely her players wages. In volatile a market where inconsistent attackers are going for £100M minimum and above.
