OJEEMAH: I never said he was solely responsible, did I? Also, Coutinho, Dembele and Greizmann could have been successful if we played like a real team. We had no real tactics than to pass to Messi. Too much power was given to Messi and it costed us. Just go back in time and watch Sevilla V Barcelona in 2019, where Messi scored a hat trick, I presume. It was horrendous. Arsenal of today would have smacked us into shreds. We were literally playing around Messi. The other players were clueless. In the opposition's final third, they wouldn't know if to cross or shoot. They'll look around and once they found Messi, they pass. Honestly, Barcelona gave Messi fame and power at the cost of the club's financial and intercontinental success. Do you think Messi coming to this current Barcelona would help? During Messi's tenure in Barcelona. Tell me, how many youngsters succeeded? When Pedri back then in 2021 looked generic. We couldn't concentrate on him because all eyes were on Messi. Without Messi, we have Gavi, Pedri, Balde, Yamine, Araujo and co. Before Messi left, we were hanging around with his old friends. We didn't want them to leave. Messi can be destructive, man. With a lineup of deteriorated players like Pique, Alba, Busquet, Suarez, and Sergi, even Mbappe smashed a hattrick. Messi never wanted change for Barcelona. Failure after failure, it took a massive uproar from the fans to kick out Suarez from the club. But we still had Alba, Busquet and Pique and Messi never wanted them to leave, whilst the youngsters were rotting. Look at it. Even in MLS, he brought his old friends. OMG. Messi turned Barcelona into a family and friends house. When we damn know that football is a cold business. DON'T YOU THINK THAT WAS WHY LAPORTA SECRETLY KICKED MESSI OUT OF THE CLUB!? Think about it. Laporta knew. Xavi Knew. But Messi was too big to be orchestrated. The fans will eat anyone who publicly criticise Messi, if even it's the true. The fans will easily push Laporta out of the club just for Messi to play even if it means getting destroyed in the UCL every year. It shows that many fans believe Messi is bigger than Barcelona, which is wrong. Honestly, at club level, Messi can't perform exceedingly well without Barcelona. He can't play in somewhere built around hungry youngsters that want to play as a team. Messi wants domination. That's why youngster hardly grow under Messi. He wants the ball at his feet every 2secs. I hate that. A single player being the center of attention comes with great danger. 2 Likes |

Neimarjr: Why are you hurt? You can't string more than two words together to counter what I said. Perhaps, if you're intelligent enough, you should be able to debunk any false statements in my write-up. Of course, you can't find any false information or accusations. It's the painful truth. The truth that hurts the soul of Messi fans. I have proofs and screenshots. I did my findings and homework well. You dummies can't stand it. You know I'm right. You folks are miscreants and buttlickers. You folks are a disgrace to the club's crest and emblem. Barcelona fan? Don't let me laugh. In this country, there are probably less than 10 true Barcelona fans. Others, which I believe are greater than ten million, are tag-alongs. They don't even know the club's history. They are solely Messi fans. The club is burning, but you can't snitch out the arsonist because he's your darling. Wait. Am I supposed to keep quiet and believe Messi is bigger than Barcelona? He ruined the club, and I'm supposed to say nothing because he has 7 golden balls and 4 golden boots. He won trophies, yes. But was he playing for free? Honestly, I'm not even Barcelona fanatic enough. The true Barça fans are the residents and indigenes of Catalonia. The Catalans loathe the Spanish government. That's why Barcelona are bitter rivals of Real Madrid Of course, you fools don't know that. You're not supposed to. If you're not a Catalan, you're not a real Barcelona fan. When the club stop being a big club and stoops low to that of Getafe or Valencia, you'd jump on the next dick (club). Only Catalans are Ultras till death. No matter the situation of the club, they'll be there. 2 Likes |

Sooner or later, some of you will reflect and remember my words. Messi played a massive part in Barcelona's catastrophe. The little man with innocent eyes isn't innocent. Messi fans are the worst, honestly. That man could sell rock to y'all and call it bread Especially on Twitter, they worship this man. It's most of them are being blindfolded. The state of Barcelona right now is pitiful. From a treble winning side to a club that can't play her employee's wages. Laporta would even ask some players to release the wages left on their contract to assist the club You're a damn hypocrite and a no good fanatic, if you believe your darling Messi didn't played a major part in the club's financial crisis. Honestly, most of you are a shame to the club. You're only of Messi and Messi only. You don't support Barça. You're are not one of us. In 2019, most Barcelona fans jubilated Messi's Ballon d'or like it was treble winning season. The same season we were embarrassed. Most Barça fans don't care about the club. So far, Messi wins a Ballon d'or or wins an award over Ronaldo, that's a successful season for them. Other legends didn't ruin the club and jumped on the next train. I know legends when I see them, and for me, Messi isn't one. 1 Like |

When people compare Messi to Pele, I feel like shedding tears. Nigerians and Indians have the worst football knowledge on the internet. The are like a bunch of NPCs that swallow everything social media feeds them. Most people can't even think for themselves. They have a smartphone, and they can't use it properly. They don't even know what tactics we use. I can easily break down Xavi's tactics from A - Z. I'm not your average football fan. I watch the game better than most of you. pkasso: Oh, please. In what world is Kane a better finisher than Lewandowski? Because Lewa is old and plays for Barcelona, they don't have enough chances. It is the same Kane that hardly has 20 UCL career goals. Recency bias will make people disrespect legends because they're in a poor form. If you say Kane is a more talented striker, I'd agree. Kane is a better all-round player that can drop deep and become a playmaker. Kane is more elegant than Lewa. Lewa is more clinical, surgical, and legendary. |

Yeah. £1M per year. That was what Messi was earning a week in PSG. That money grabber ruined the club and jumped on the next ride. Most of you here are Messi fans, not Barcelona fans. In your mind, you believe he is bigger than the club. He's faultless and as innocent as an infant. Bunch of deluded weirdos. In less than 7 years, Messi gobbled up more than 500 Million in salary and bonuses. He kept his out-of-form and washed friends, Suarez, Alba, and Busquets. His influence pressured the club to give them chunky salaries and further sink the club. FOOLS! They can't see. You folks have been charmed and probably under a love spell for Messi and can't see that behind those innocent smiles and cries is a villainous howl and satire. Me, I'm more of a Barcelona fan than you folks. I understand the game more than most of you. I've been a Barcelona fan for as long as I can remember. My phone's wallpaper is of Barcelona's youngsters (Gavi, Pedri and Araujo) You folks are disgusting, irrational, and built like a porcelain dull. The truth is waved and rubbed on your face, but you still can't see. Try to release yourself from your delusions and see things from a neutral point of view. I used to be a hardcore Messi fan, like y'all. I supported that little man till he won the WC. I screamed out of my voice through his WC journey last year. I saw one dummy defending Messi, saying "that we should give him everything for what he has done.' What a dumbass. You have a brain you're supposed to use it. BARCELONA is bigger than MESSI. Barcelona employed him and paid him a fair salary. No player is good enough to control or extort the club. From 2012 - 18, Ronaldo was a far more crucial player than Messi. He was one of the main reasons they won five UCLs, and he didn't get worship. He demanded a better salary than the club's wage structure, and he was kicked out. Tell me, didn't Madrid win another UCL? Pathetic set of fans. Better stick to your average Chelsea and Man U. Perhaps, leave the damn club and support Messi FC. That fool kept renewing his contract every two years and ruining the club. These fools are telling me he deserves everything for doing his DAMN JOB. He didn't even do it properly. He was a disappointment on the biggest of stages. He wrecked the club's financial structure. He didn't allow other players like Greizmann, Coutinho, and Dembele to excel. I mean, how they will excel when we don't play as a damn team when all we do is recycle passes to Messi every damn 2 secs. We were a walking loophole in the UCL. Big teams will look at their tactical graphic board and see no tactical approach from us other than to pass to Messi. How to stop Barcelona? Don't allow Messi to have the ball. Simple. We're done. We could have won 7 UCLs now if our boards were as brutal as Real Madrid. That's why we're behind them constantly. They'll tell you Real Madrid doesn't respect their legends. I used to believe that, and damn, I was wrong. FOOTBALL IS BUSINESS. The goal is to keep winning and continue to be a football powerhouse But we took the "Mes Un Que Club" too far and kept pampering our legends after dropping stinkers. Busquets, Messi, Alba, Suarez, Pique, and so on. They used to be heroes, but left as a villain. The club is not a family house. The club is running a business. We were too soft. We ruined the club. Now, we're going to suffer for God knows how long. That's why Xavi didn't want Messi. Pep left the club because he had seen it. The media will, of course, tell you that Xavi wants Messi, and they'd be glad to have him. Of course, you dummies, you don't expect Pep and Xavi to disrespect a club legend publicly Bleep, Messi. Without that damn dwarf, we would still be giants. Prime Barcelona didn't need Messi to win trophies. He was only an icing on the cake. Xavi, Iniesta, Busquet, Eto, Henry, Yaya and co. With Pep as the manager, we would still have our trophies. Without Messi, they will be Barcelona; without Barcelona, Messi will be in Argentina, struggling with his deficiencies. That man couldn't replicate 10% of what he did at Barcelona at Psg because he was not in his comfort zone where they lick his butt, worship, and perceive him as a deity. In PSG, it was cold. He didn't have enough of the ball as he used to in Barcelona and Argentina. I mean, even Dani Alves said if Messi doesn't have the ball every 2 seconds, he disconnects from the game. He flopped heavily in PSG. PSG was trying to play as a team and not spam one man with passes and make them predictable. Ultimately, the little man flopped "in the supposed easiest league in the top five leagues." Embarrassing. He's like a fish that can't survive on land. At the same time, most world-class players are amphibians. He couldn't deliver. He became a deadweight to PSG. They were eliminated in the UCL R/16 back to back. Embarrassing. He was trying to form another degressive partnership with a useless player like Neymar. Do you think the Ultras in PSG are fools? They saw what he did to Barcelona and didn't want the same thing to happen to them. Smh. I'm out.

Geld: Gavi's ball retention and dictation have improved. He's the perfect Box-to-Box midfielder, and he's only 19. Those tackles and interceptions. One would argue he's too fierce for a player who turned 19 a few weeks ago. |

I connected my VPN and opened Hulu to watch the game. After 15mins of watching passes being recycled and Barça uninspired style of play, I almost fell asleep. Regardless, it was a difficult win but I didn't watch enough of the game to judge these players. Another scrappy win. We need to be more creative and lethal, these binary scores might not work this time as we are conceding goal more often this season. We use a similar formation as Real Madrid, and we play boring games like them. I knew what I was saying when I said we play like Madrid these days. Anyways, I'd take the win. Only result matters. But we're far from where we're supposed to be. Man, these dark days. It's alright. |

Kilishihunter: There's nothing to hype about Valverde. He's playing a system I'm not the biggest fan of, but I'm saying he was overhated for doing the same thing as Xavi. Listen, Valverde played a system around Messi; that's one of the reasons Messi was successful under him. I went back in time to watch a Barcelona vs. Sevilla match in 2019, and it was horrendous compared to today's football. Barcelona doesn't seem to have any damn tactics than to pass the ball to Messi every 2 secs. We made it to crucial stages, where the ball was limited from reaching Messi in the final third. Messi would have to drop deep. You'd see players hovering around Messi and cutting his passing lanes. That was the death of the team. We died right there. Knowing Messi, he's not as clutch as we think he is. He has disappointed me a lot in games where the team is being dominated, and he doesn't get enough of the ball. He becomes a liability, and since the team is so used to playing around him, they couldn't be effective without him. I know this would hurt a lot of Barcelona fans, and I would get hated for this. Your love for Messi blinds you. Makes you think he's perfect and never at fault. If his team was dominated and he didn't get enough ball at his feet, and he couldn't change the tide of the game, you either blame the team, the manager, or his teammates for not being good enough Also, Messi was also one of the reasons for Barcelona's financial crisis with his enormous wages, bonuses, and desire to keep his best friend, Suarez. Disgusting. See, I'm speaking the truth. I'm not your average Barcelona fan that licks Messi's ass and would blame a whole club or even a nation because we perceive him to be faultless. Messi is not a saint. Those innocent looks and those humble speeches of his don't fool me. The more I think about it, the more I dislike Messi. He's a hero and a villain at the same time. I'm starting to understand why Ultras in PSG kicked him out. Our Ultras are dunce, and fools that were charmed and hypnotized by Messi. We freaking blown 7 UCL years because of Messi. Every year we play around him and get bleeped, yet we keep on doing everything to please him and can't see the system built around him breaks on cold UCL nights against cold-hearted teams with excruciating press-- closing down structure that yearns for having the ball and dictating the play That's why Real Madrid are better than us. Bleep it. In the 2018 UCL, Ronaldo didn't score in the S/F and Final, yet they won the whole thing. They don't build around Ronaldo; that dude doesn't need the ball at his feet every damn 2secs before he scores a gazola. Big players come clutch even with a 31% - 69% possession, with a few touches, and they STRIKE! That's why Haaland and Mbappe are very dangerous. Also, Messi's stats in the knockout stages are horrendous. Let me pull out the stats. "2 non penalty goals in 27 games at 2006, 2010, 2018 World Cup and 2011, 2015, 2019 Copa America" Mbappe is 10yrs younger than Messi, and he is only 2 knockout goals behind Messi in the UCL That's why CR7 dominated the K.Os and Messi only in the group stages. Messi isn't my ideal players in a difficult game, honestly. And those playmaking skills, and dropping deep don't fool me. He does that because he can't get the ball in the final third and he needs more engagement. I mean, look at the damn WC final, where France were being dominated by France. Mbappe and his partners barely smelt the ball. France eventually got a bit control of the game in the 80th minute, and Mbappe getting a few touches of the ball for the first time, and he struck a wonderful volley into the net. THAT IS HOW YOU WIN DIFFICULT GAMES Smh... I could type a whole a book in here, but let me stop know for now. |
