tuzle: his way of doing things can't win us the league. Man city team will beat this arsenal team any day and any time if he tries this nonsense experiment with them. Forget about the community shield defeat they will tears us apart if we play players in the wrong positions. The most mistake y'all Arsenal fans make is to compare yourselves to the champions of Europe. City has been formidable since 2017. Don't compare Arteta to Guardiola or Arsenal to City. There are many battles to be fought and consistency to achieve before you can sit at the same table with City. |

Luckysbab: Arteta should be having weekly sessions with a psychiatrist. At his age, he still has the mentality of a teenager in his approach to his job. Gosh. You don't know a thing about football tactics, and you think you can trash-talk a professional, whereas you get your best information from Twitter. |

tuzle: come on arteta makes a lot of wrong decisions that sometimes u wonder what has gotten into him for example today match is a perfect case where many players are being played out of position, failing to sub sometimes even when everyone except arteta knows we need fresh legs and also failing to play some players and starting others instead. That was the major reason we bottled the league last season because arteta thinks he is guardiola 2.0. Let the gaffer do his job. Being a football manager is one of the most challenging professions in the world. It's very convenient to sit on the couch and curse every move the manager makes. But seriously y'all should learn and adjust to his ways of doing things. |

Ekpekus: Even the commentators who are professionals are wondering the same. So, I ask again na the match you dey watch or another one? Of course, the commentators usually wonder at some decisions of the manager. Still, you're calling Arteta out aggressively like you're his chairman or some sort of retired professional footballer or manager who sees the game better than Arteta. |

akwesenana: Please, when/ how did Guardiola develop La Masía? Let me learn something new this week. From being the Barça B manager and taking them to new heights. He defeated Barcelona's first team with his Barça B team and got promoted to the first team manager. He brought Busquet to the squad. He also developed Xavi, Iniesta, and Messi. They had the best seasons of their lives under him. In 2011, Pep fielded a starting eleven of only La Masia players. Pep himself is a product of La Masia, was a captain in his days, and also a Catalan. He's Barcelona through and through. |

Dead barka fans and over hyping their nonsense products. 🤝 Lmaoooooooooooooooooo. I had a good laugh reading this. Cancelo is excellent, but I don't see much improvement he'll bring to our squad. I feel football has evolved from using two attacking fullbacks. With that, we'll be exposed to counterattacks and both Cancelo and Balde really can't defend. |

oliverano: Lol.
As a LB, Cancelo is better than Balde. As a RB, there's no contest there. Cancelo is a world class player, Balde on the other hand could still be considered a prospect.
I love Balde as he's our best LB by far, and one of our best players but saying he's hardly a better player than Cancelo isn't true.
Only problem with Cancelo is the rumoured toxicity which I don't really give a damm as I want him here. We need some world-class players here. Tell me one thing Cancelo does better than Balde. |

Kilishihunter: Lol, see how you're conveniently making excuses for him whereas it was someone like ferran or raphinha the dragging would have beyond optimum levels yesterday Note this was just 2 images I could pull out of the several haphazard performances he was dishing out especially in the first half, Taking too much time to shoot, Turning the ball over, not linking up with his teammates, Chance's creation should not even be an excuse before we've all see how poor he's been since the world cup I don't slander players unthinkingly like others. The average football fan knows little about the game. They watch eleven men on the pitching fighting for the ball and see who wins. And football is more than that. The game is a tactical battle. Look at City's last game, and look at the chances provided for Haaland even without KDB. Foden made seven key passes, and if I'm right, 5 or 6 out of those were for Haaland, yet he squandered it. And that was against a ferocious team like Newcastle. Vs. Cadíz, we barely created anything. Even the commentator said we were too predictable. Our style and football pattern don't keep the opposition team guessing what they face against us. They know how to defend against us now. We're far from being the old Barça teams are afraid to play against. Please find me on a critical pass that was provided to Lewa in that match. I bet you'd hardly find any. Those half-baked chances are too scrappy to be called chances. Even Haaland will suffer in this team. I mean, we are results are Atleticesque nowadays since we end up with binary results. The season is a long way to go. I hope things change for the better, or else we're in for another European disappointment. |

Kilishihunter: He needs to wake up fast cause the UCL starts in less than under a month. We can't head back to europa. The first image: The ball was wide away from his heading range The second image: No striker can turn that chance into a goal with five men in yellow standing in front of you. I think you should complain more about the creativity of the team. At this point, Lewa is only receiving the kind of service he'd receive if he were a Sevilla player. |

Imagine you're in a workplace, and your boss keeps killing you with words even after doing a decent job compared to others. You'd be depressed. Perhaps you're depressed and an internet clown. These players are humans. They have a family, and they do read criticisms from social media and which affects them mentally. You could easily see that Ferran Torres was depressed last season. Your username is similar to the average Nairaland nuisance. The style is to use a clownish, comical, and mischievous name. Then, start spamming your favorite section with recycled phrases like "fraud, loser, and co" in sentences that look like something constructed from a lifeform of only two brain cells. You're only here to gain recognition famously or infamously. To look stupid and notorious at the same time. You are farming for engagement. You're not a culer, and you're a disgrace to the whole fanbase. |

Lewandowski's movement opens space for Pedri to exploit, thanks to Gündogan's floated pass.
Ferran Torres is on fire. He and Ansu are desperate to earn a place in the first eleven.
The game was not bad, but we should learn to play more exciting football and create good chances. We should work on that in training. Good luck and see ya next week. |

Kilishihunter: If lewandowski was less rusty and more assertive we'll likely have scored by now, it's a great shame to him that a 16-year-old kid is currently our best attacker We barely created anything for Lewandowski to exploit. He's a number 9, and he's 35, I guess. The center area is congested, and it will take more than those half-hearted chances in the 1st half to get him a goal. |

Struggling to create chances against Cadíz is not good, to be honest. We're not ready for a chilly Champions League night in a hostile atmosphere in one of the most feared stadiums in Europe. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by Dollywood(m): 7:30pm On Aug 20, 2023 |
Not a bad first half. We need to be swift and tidy with passes to break down Cadiz's compact defense.
I can't complain, but we need a new strategy to disrupt Cadíz's backline because they are so tight and they move in unit. We need space. If we can't find it, we should create it. Draw defenders out of position and exploit the area.
C'mon Barça! |

If the players currently under Arteta play like this , they wouldn’t have finished close second behind city in the league last season He wouldn't play like that because Arteta won't let him play like that. It seems of y'all forgot these managers are trainers. And managers are superior to managers when it comes to training players. |

Chelsea fans are one of the most delusional set of people on the planet. After a disastrous and woeful season, they miraculously expect a system turnover that will turn them into a title contestant. Ansu Fati gave me Rashford vibes in our preseason games. I don't know why Xavi is starting a 16y/o fledging ahead of him. That will only hurt his ego and make him want to exit the club. And it will hurt more to lose a player like Ansu Fati, basked with untapped potential. |
