My resolutions n conclusion abt d fire that caught
okeke hostel yesterday in the University of
Nigeria, Nsukka
1. The works department has failed us. Frm
investigations it ws discovered dat d fire started
frm electic sparks which have been reported 2 d works department many times bt nt attended 2
dis issue makes these ladies 2 rely on quack
electrician dat patronizes deir hostels to fix tins
for them.
2. The security department has failed us. Firstly d
saying dat a man whose house is on fire dos nt go around chasing rats, happened yesterday
with d hostel on fire our security men were
chasing bush rat at d back of d hostel. Secondly
wen guys came with fire extinguisher n water in
trying 2 curb d fire wen it ws at d starting phase
dey ended up being chased out. Thirdly, wen the fire was getting out of control n guys were still
willing to try n rescue wat dey can dey were
threatened with arrest.
3. Fidelity Bank. Been d closest establishment 2 d
hostel n with enough fire extinguishers refused 2
contribute any effort in putting out d fire dats bad.
4. Fire service. Hw can a fire service be called and
they came with water dats nt even up 2 half
their truck, were dey tinking we were joking or
wat its pathetic.
5. Hall Porter. Being placed in charge of dese children did nt do enough to make sure tins go
well. D enforcement of no gas cylinders was nt
properly enforced n dis contributed more 2 d fire.
6. Hostel Occupants. Pls we should be more self n
security concious, always ensure b4 u leave ur
rooms all electrical appliances are switched off, do not say i wnt 2 charge my reading lamp, once
dere is no one in d room off all appliances.
My conclusions, had it been we are in a more
civilized n developed community some people
would hv tendered their resignations by nw bt d
following need 2 be looked into: 1. D works department should visit all hostels n
deal with all electrical issues.
2. Security should visit all hostels n seize all gas
cylinders and also look into her members dat re
always drinking between 8-9pm to try n curb
their excesses. 3. The borehole dat ws dugged close 2 d hostel
should be looked into Y it didnt function last nite.

True talk bro but I'm so addicted to long games probably because I am actually good at it but as they say, when the witches follow you from the village something will surely go wrong.
