TOPIC: LORD, RESET ME

Read 1 Peter 5:10
10. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

MEMORISE: But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you (1 Peter 5:10)

EXPOSITION
On a typical modern-day phone, there is a small reset button that, when pressed, restores the device to its original factory setting. Normally, this is necessary when there is a major software problem with the device. Resetting it would bring back the original glory of the device.
There are seasons and times in our lives when we get so far from God’s original plan for our lives, because of being carried away by the pressures of life. We add onto our lives, assignments, relationships and tasks, in the same way we load apps onto our phones. We complicate our lives with what God never intended to be in our lives – parties, TV shows, dates, etc., and these unfortunately choke out God and His programmes that should matter most to us (cf. Matt. 6:33). At such times, we feel unnecessarily burdened by life’s situations. When life is overwhelming, complicated, burdensome and frustrating, we know it is time to press reset.
Let God restore you to your original place in Him. Let Him re-establish, resettle and reconfirm you. Let God reset you. Let Him occasion situation that would set you back on track. Stop drifting far away from Him. The farther you are away from Him, the more dangerous it is. The farther the sheep stray away from home, the more risky it becomes for it, most especially, at night.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father God, my life seems to be drifting away from Your original plan; forgive me for adding projects, relationships and other things to my life that You never told me to add.
2. Lord, reset my life; bring me back to my original state and place in You. Reset my heart and breathe Your life into me, NOW.
3. Lord, help ministers of the gospel who are choking You out of their schedules with the series of programmes they organise and participate in, to the detriment of their own relationship with You.

TOPIC: DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED

Read 1 Samuel 30:1-7

1. And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;
2. And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.
3. So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.
4. Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
5. And David’s two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.
6. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
7. And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

MEMORISE: Look, the Lord your God has set the Land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged (Deuteronomy 1:21)

EXPOSITION
On most cases, God will show you where He is taking you, but He will not show you what He will bring you through. This has been God’s normal way of dealing with His own children. When God wanted to bring His people out of the land of Egypt, He showed them the picture of the Land He was bringing them to – the land flowing with milk and honey, but He did not show them what they were going to pass through. God refused to show them what they would pass through along the way, so that they would not be discouraged from the beginning of the journey.
God showed Joseph the picture of the future He had for him, in his dreams, but decided not to show him the hardship and bitterness he had to pass through, in the midst of the journey, before arriving his destination (or destiny). Imagine how Joseph would react in the early stage of his life, if God had revealed to him how his brothers would treat him, the evil things his boss’ wife would do to him, and how he would land in the prison, unjustly.
As God spoke to the children of Israel then, His voice is being directed to you now, that you should encourage yourself in the Lord, as David did (1 Sam. 30:6). God has set a particular land before you, too. You will surely get there, but not without serious challenges on the way. In fact, only champions are challenged. So, never be discouraged with all you are, or would still be going through on the way to your own promised land. The Lord who promised to take you to the Promised Land will surely get you there. Just hold on to Him.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, help me to overcome whatever Satan uses to discourage me in life.
2. I refuse to be discouraged in all the good things I lay my hand upon, in Jesus’ name.
3. Lord, strengthen the missionaries to overcome all discouragements on the mission fields.

TOPIC: BEARER OF BURDENS

Read Matthew 11:25-30
25. At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
26. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
27. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

MEMORISE: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy lade, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28)

EXPOSITION
Have loved ones ever confided, ‘I’m so tired’? Or have you ever staggered home from work feeling exhausted? Please read Matthew 11:28-30. Take a deeper look at what Jesus said. He offers ‘rest’ for the drained and the exhausted, which is a very different kind of rest from the ‘do-nothing’ mode. The root of the Greek word for ‘rest’ is from where we got our word, ‘pause’. Maybe, Jesus is saying, just press the button of pause in your life, calm down, see where you are and get things into perspective.

Making use of farming imagery of oxen being yoked together, lumbering up and down on field, Jesus intends to draw out an important lesson for them then, and the church, His representative, now. It is likely you have never come across either oxen or a yoke before, given your environment, most especially, if you are outside the Israelite and Eastern world. Yet, you can still learn from it, given an overview of how it works over there.

Normally, a farmer yokes two bulls together, so that their combined strength enables them to complete the job on the farm. This is the Christian’s expectation, when faced with situations beyond our own strength. When you are burdened with expectations or situations, remember, Jesus has promised to take the yoke with us. He asks us to take His yoke upon ourselves, which involves learning from Him (v. 29). His yoke is easy and His burden light, because He pours His strength into our weaknesses, as we humbly take His yoke upon us (v. 30). And His ‘yoke’ is custom-made to fit our needs. You don’t have to bother how it won’t be oversize. He knows you ever before your existence, and has made the right provisions for you, ahead (cf. Jer. 29:11).

Come to Jesus, our Burden-bearer and claim what God-with-us (Emmanuel) promises. Find new peace, contentment and rest in His living and loving presence.

PRAYER POINTS
1. O God of heaven, devoid me of self, so that I will rely on Your enabling power wholly.
2. Lord, grant me the grace to find a fresh peace and contentment under Your banner.
3. Pray for brethren who are going through hard times, and that this is making them to withdraw from the presence of God, personally and corporately, that the Holy Spirit should encourage and help them appropriately.

TOPIC: YOUR PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT

Read Matthew 6:28-33

[28]And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:[29]And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.[30]Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?[31]Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?[32](For after all these things do the Gentiles seeksmiley for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.[33]But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

MEMORISE: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33)

EXPOSITION
Why primary school education has to precede both secondary and tertiary institutions, is obvious. When a child has not mastered writing and recognition of letters and figures, there is no justification for introducing such child to higher levels of learning. Today’s dose of the Living Water refocuses our attention on our primary assignment, as Christians on earth – seeking Christ’s kingdom, first. It is primary, because it has to come first and foremost, in all our endeavours (Matt. 6:33).
When the first and foremost thing is being neglected, abysmal and lacklustre performance cannot be avoided! All through man’s life, he seeks wealth, fame, status, relevance and recognition, thereby neglecting his main duty on earth. God made us to relate with Him (Gen. 3:cool. He demands we give Him our hearts (Prov. 23:26). He wouldn’t struggle to have room there (Rev. 3:20). Don’t try to share His rightful place in you with other persons/things.
No doubt, wealth, fame, prosperity, and the likes, are desired by rational persons. They are part of man’s felt needs. However, they are secondary to man’s real need – salvation and meaningful walk with God. Do you go to the university without having gone through the primary and secondary schools? You’d better stop running after the God-promised “additions”. Instead, seek God’s Kingdom first (Matt. 6:33). How? Be born again (John 3:3). Be sanctified by Jesus’ blood (cf. Eph. 5:26,27). Be Holy Spirit-filled. Be studious of the Scripture. And, don’t forget to witness what you have witnessed to others who haven’t. By so doing, you can’t be stopped from getting all the good things of life Jesus Christ has in stock for you. Stay lifted!

PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, deliver me from every ungodly desire that can stop me from focussing on what concerns You for me.
2. Pray for the grace to prioritise what matters to God, in all aspects of Your life.
3. Lord, help our church leaders at all levels, not to shift their focus away from what beats in the heart of God.

TOPIC: REWARD OF FAITH

READ NUMBERS 14:37-38
MEMORISE: Those very men who brought the evil report about the land, died by the plague before the LORD. But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive, of the men who went to spy out the land. (Numbers 14:37-38)

Joshua and Caleb were able to withstand the powerful current of unbelief through their simple faith. They kept their trust in God, in the face of all the difficulties, and finally, He honoured their faith in a wonderful way. Whereas the bodies of their brethren decayed in the dust of the wilderness, Joshua and Caleb entered the land of Canaan to enjoy its fruitful valleys and vineyards on the hills.
The confession of their brethren was that they would die in the wilderness, which was fulfilled on them. Caleb and Joshua had a different confession, that they would live, and their confession came to pass (cf. Num 14:28).
Lesson: Make positive confession of faith for yourself, family, career, business, vocation, etc. Faith makes a man see a roaring lion as mewing cat. Only Joshua and Caleb relied on the faith of their fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, hence their undaunted and rewarding courage. When others showed unbelief, they were resolute that God had given them the Promised Land. And it was so. They got what they believed and possessed what they confessed.
As a Christian, don't join the crowd against God's programme. Hold unto God's Word/promises. That is faith. That is the kind of faith Abraham, as well as Joshua and Caleb were handsomely rewarded for (cf. Rom 4:21).

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, give me the faith that follows Your purpose and programmes to logical conclusion, regardless of what evident odds.
2. Lord, may I not be found to go against Your programme, in any way, in Jesus' name.
3. Lord, equip our brethren who are being hotly persecuted with the faith to remain unbreakable, no matter the severity of the persecution.

TOPIC: FORSAKEN, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

READ JOHN 5:1-9
MEMORISE: When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take care of me. (Psalm 27:10)

And God said through prophet Isaiah, Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have companion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you (Isaiah 49:15). What a God, with such a beautiful assurance!
Who among mortals can make such a declaration and not default? No one can, except the Lord our God who loves us with everlasting love. You may have been forsaken and forgotten by men, parents, siblings, friends, neighbours, colleagues, etc., but God would never forget you.
The family members of the impotent folk had done their best by bringing the sick to the side of the pool at Siloam, for the annual divine touch. Only fate, destiny and grace could determine whether they would be healed or not. Fortunately, the man in our text got healed, having suffered his sickness for 38 horrible years (vv. 6,7). Today is your day of deliverance from whatsoever ailment or predicament you might have been suffering from, be it spiritual, physical, marital, mental, etc. Receive your healing, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Never throw away your hope and confidence in God. Though He tarries, wait on Him and for Him, for He never forgets you. Your day is here. It is not part of God's attributes to forget His own people. You are deeply engraved on His heart. Your plight now is highly immaterial, compared to His plan for you. It shall be well, and it is well.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, I have no one but You; be my Deliverer and Helper now and forever more.
2. Specifically tell God about the areas where you are presently experiencing pains.
3. Pray for the orphans, that God should come to their rescue quickly.

INEVITABLE CHANGE

READ ROMANS 9:27-33

MEMORISE: Nevertheless the LORD your God would not listen to Balaam, but the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loves you. (Deuteronomy 23:5)

Derek Prince, on page 127 in his book, “Blessing Or Curse”, writes: “A Christian lady, known to my friend, was eating with her family in a restaurant in New Orleans – which is reported to be the spiritual centre for witchcraft in the U.S.A. While at the table, they were approached by Satanists who had entered the restaurant to “witness” in the same way some Christians might do, going from table to table. They were actively recruiting people for Satanism and showed the lady a printed prospectus for the year 1988, outlining their six-point worldwide programme, which was to be accompanied by fasting and prayer (!):

• That the antichrist would manifest himself soon;

• That ministers, leaders, and missionaries would fall;

• That ministries and works of God would be destroyed;

• That Christians would become complacent; want peace over and above all; and that churches do not preach a full gospel again, having pastors advocating for peace not minding the weight of sin;

• That Christians would cease their fasting and prayer [life];

• That the gifts of the Holy Spirit would be ignored [among Christians].”

Truly today, isn’t this the state of the Church? And where are we as Christians? It is evident that the Church worldwide, is currently under intense, and systematic attack by the forces of Satan. But what should we do? Let’s change that the curses might be revoked by our God.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Oh Lord God, change us to change our world.

2. Lord, visit us with true lasting revival of Your Word, to change us in the direction of Your will.

3. Lord, render powerless, every device of Satan and his agents to take over this nation in order to silence Your gospel.

NOT ALONE
READ MATTHEW 14:22-33

MEMORISE: “And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:20b)

Know assuredly that anyone or anything that is on course with, and for God becomes a fierce target for Satan (our real enemy). Are you standing with, and for God? Expect attacks from the devil. But the good news is that, you are never alone, if the interest of God is your primary concern, reason and goal. Hallelujah!

Matthew 28:20 reads thus in the Amplified Bible, Go then and make disciples of all the nations … and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). What is more then?

Though since His ascension, Jesus has become invisible to the human eyes, yet, never has He been invisible or inaccessible to those who treasure close relationship with Him. You are never alone in His service and life. Not at all. The Bible makes it very clear, and severally, that our Father in heaven cherishes His children. So, we see clearly in our text today how, caringly, Jesus had faithfully rescued the troubled disciples. For as soon as Jesus and Peter entered the boat, the wind ceased (v. 32).

Your holding on to Christ in the midst of frightening situations, speaks much about your faith in God, and that secures you His rescue and restoration to the state of quietness and joy. You cannot go out doing God’s business and go at your expense. God’s presence, power and peace always accompany God’s engagement/godly endeavours.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Oh Lord, be my resting place and joy amidst all insecurities of life.

2. Lord Jesus, I bank on Your support as I do Your will always.

3. Pray that God should grant missionaries on the field the courage and longsuffering to see God’s promises fulfilled wherever they are, so that there would be less attrition.

STOP, LOOK, LISTEN
READ: ACTS 27:18-25

MEMORISE: Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” (Genesis 28:15)

The next time you are about to cross a railway lane, notice the inscription on the rail signpost: STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN BEFORE CROSSING! How many road users are careful enough to obey the city’s traffic rules, nowadays? Nevertheless, the fact remains that only those who obey God’s Word are saved from untold hurts and losses in life.

Paul had said, Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives. But the centurion, instead of listening to what Paul said, followed the advice of the pilot, and of the owner of the ship (Acts 27:10-12). The centurion must have regretted that he underrated Paul’s piece of advice, which he may not have recognised was coming from the throne of God. After they had all laboured relentlessly to avert the worst, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss” (Acts 27:21). By listening to God’s warning signals, we avert needless pains and sorrows.

Yes, you may have entered into certain mess unaware, sometimes being stubborn. But in all, God is ever faithful to make a way, where it seems there is no way, making all things work together for your good, again. There are no losers with Jesus, and never will there be winners with the devil. Obey Christ’s bids. Neither overlook nor overrule divine directives.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, forgive me of, and deliver me from the consequences of not heeding Your warning signals on my life’s issues.

2. I charge you to depart from me, you spirit of disobedience to God’s counsel, in Jesus’ name.

3. Lord Jesus, help Your Church to be more cautious of the dangerous signals of not doing evangelism and missions, and let her change positively.

TOPIC: LORD, WE PERISH

READ MATTHEW 8:23-27
MEMORISE: So the men marvelled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?" (Matthew 8:27)

Life is a sail. We are all on course, journeying to a particular definite destination. Your life is a boat, sailing towards a directional end - Heaven or Hell. Who is your sailor? Is it tradition, education, religion, societal influence and applause, position, power and wealth, ignorance, stupidity or objection to the reality of salvation, through Christ Jesus - the only approved mediator between God and men (1 Tim 2:5)? Whoever captains the ship of your life (Jesus or Satan) determines your final destination - heaven or hell, respectively. You are not alone in the sail, if you are truly saved, no matter what faces you or that which you are facing.
Our text today, reveals the class and kind of people sailing together with Jesus. At least 13 people, including the man paddling the boat, were in the boat with Jesus. The great tempest and waves on the sea that troubled the sail exposed the kind of people they were - "the fearful" and "of little faith" (v. 26).
Today, what is it that troubles your life? What manner of man are you at the face of challenges and persecutions? How dare you say, 'Lord . . . we perish' (v. 25) when Jesus is with you? Truly, life without Christ is already in crisis, but more embarrassing is, acclaimed life in Christ which has lost absolute trust in God's saving power, whenever storms billow. Call on Him now, He's in the sail with you. With Jesus in your boat, your sail will end in safe haven. No wreckage; no loss of life and property.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Oh Lord, save me and my household from all the harassment of the devil.
2. Oh Lord, please come to my rescue in all areas of my life; I can't help myself.
3. Jehovah Rapha, visit every sick person in hospitals, clinics, and at homes, with Your healing power, now.

SIN IS A SINKER!

READ 2 KINGS 13:1-24

MEMORISE: Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. (James 1:15)

The Bible loudly says, The soul who sins shall die (Ezek 18:4). Meanwhile, God is not interested in the death of the sinner. Rather, he seeks every means that they might repent (2 Pet. 3:9). Had people discovered the dire consequences of sin and its sinking effect, may be, many would have exercised restraint towards the monster! If there is anything to run away from without looking back, it is SIN, which someone has given as an acronym for “Satan Identification Numbe5r” or Satan Incarnated Nature.’ A preacher once said that SIN means “SORROW IS NEXT”! All these elaborate descriptions of sin become necessary so that God’s people may continue to avoid it (1 Sam 2:25).

One other amazing thing about sin is that, it respects nobody, be you, high or low, clergy or laity, educated or illiterate, rich or poor! The story of the young and courageous prophet that God sent to King Jeroboam, teaches us good lesson in a very simple way (1 Kings 13:1ff). full of anointing and the grace of God, but he disregarded the LORD’S command. He welcomed sin in its creeping and unsuspecting way! Paul bluntly told the Galatian church that whoever (including himself, be it angel or prophet) preaches another gospel accursed, and therefore should be discountenanced (Gal 1:cool. Sin sank away the young prophet because he deviated and embraced another message!

Have you learnt? Avoid it today and always.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Oh Lord my God, deliver me totally from sin, in Jesus’ name.
2. Oh God, help our top flight ministers of the gospel to be wary of besetting sins in their deceptive forms, in Jesus’ name.
3. Raise Your Church, oh God, to the reality of immoralities and atrocities in her domain, and consequently stand her ground against the conquest of sin.

TOPIC: THE DETERMINED DANIEL

READ DANIEL 1:1-19
MEMORISE: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. (Daniel 1:cool

What keeps one going in the face of fiercest situations, however unpalatable, is the subject of today's devotion. We have learnt that our decisions have far-reaching effects on both the present and posterity. Any decision not backed up with determination will fail and falter. It is just a matter of time! Situations seem to have influence on our decisions at times, but determination is the propeller and force that drives us to be focused.
Daniel, ordinarily, could have done himself "good" by gladly and effortlessly taking the special palace delicacies prepared for him and his fellows. More so, he was exiled in a strange land, where his deeds, good or bad, were in the oblivion to his immediate family members and religious association. Rather, the committed and courageous Daniel determined decisively and deliberately not to take the food, obviously because he had a perception that the food that the king ate would always first be presented to appease the gods of Babylon! It takes determination to resist evil advances, especially, when coming from higher authorities! (cf. Rom 13:1-3). Daniel's decisive determination seemed damning and dire, but the result was testimonial (Dan 1;19).
Dear reader, if you must make heaven, you must be determined and ready to damn the consequences. It is better to be focused on things that have heavenly values. Dare to be like Daniel in your determination, today and always. By this, you will enjoy God's endorsement.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, I receive the authority to be positively determined for, and in You, in Jesus' name.
2. Holy Spirit, help me to know how and when to say 'No' to offers and opportunities that displease You.
3. Father, deliver our nation from every form of idolatry in Jesus' name.

LOVE MORE
READ John 13:34-35
MEMORISE: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. (John 13:34)

When Jesus was asked which was God’s greatest, or most important, commandment, He replied in terms of love. He said there were two great commands, or perhaps one command in two parts: … love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. … love your neighbour as yourself (Mark 12:30-31).
Love, then, is the most important guiding principle in our lives. We are to love God with all our being, and to love other people as much as we love ourselves. Since none of us comes remotely near this when we start out in life, it must be very important, from God’s point of view, that we spend our lives, learning to do it better and better. In heaven, when we are purged of all self-centredness, we shall be able to selflessly love others, perfectly.
Therefore, learning to love more, is God’s purpose for our lives, so as to fulfil the scriptures. Do not take advantage of others. If somebody cheats you, with all humility, explain to the offender, and make peace with him. Do not avenge yourself. It is God’s right to do that (Rom 12:19). Make people around you happy in the right way. These are the ways to express love.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, give me the heart to love You and others, the more.
2. Lord, give me the strength to be at peace with all people, all the time.
3. Lord, be kind enough to couples who are currently going through separation/divorce, and bring them together again, to the devil’s shame.

TOPIC: WHAT'S UNDERNEATH?
READ GENESIS 31:28-35
MEMORISE: Now Rachel had taken the household idols, put them in the camel's saddle, and sat on them. And Laban searched all about the tent but did not find them. (Genesis 31:34)

The actors and actresses in the Holy Scriptures are typically instructive to us in this contemporary time. Have you realised that, sin, in its formative stages, always looks so minor and negligible? It starts small, but has fatal and devastating effects (Jas 1:15). Jacob, a struggler in Laban's custody, decided to be at large, when it was very clear to him that his similarly ticklish father-in-law would maximally exploit his productive years, with little or nothing to show for the years in Jacob's life!
Racheal, the preferred sweetheart of Jacob, for the reason best known to her, decided to go with a household god of her idolatrous father! This singular act of covetousness, stealing and lying, cut her life short (Gen 31:32; 35:16-19). What a disaster!
Dear brother/sister, you better open up that area of weakness in your life to trusted fellow Christians and leaders, who some people call accountability partners and mentors, to gain control over that ungodly, death-inducing habit! It won't be funny to see yourself in hell because of a 'personal' issue (you may think) you could have shared with your brethren in order to receive succour, but you refused to! The underneath unconfessed sin is a timed bomb and gunpowder! Don't help the devil in your life. Open up today on that thing underneath, lest death and damnation visit. God forbid!
PRAYER POINTS:
1. I refuse to sit on what will terminate my life, in Jesus' name.
2. Oh God, give me the grace to let go of secret sin I unnecessarily keep, and be reconciled to You, permanently.
3. Oh God, deliver the leaders of Your people from the danger of comfort zone.

TOPIC: NO MORE SORROW

READ PSALM 30:1-11
MEMORISE: You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness (Psalm 30:11)

Our world is virtually without happiness, joy, ecstasies and real excitement. Most of these lacking elements that many lay claim to, only turn around in a jiffy. What a world of sorrow and calamities! You may be happy in the morning and before the twilight, sadness creeps in! Things that gladden people's hearts sometimes become symbols of sorrows and anguish sooner! How do you explain that the vehicle you bought with your own money later, sadly though, came to be a reminiscence of devastation and distress?
This simply tells us that the world is full of sorrows and disheartening situations, because Satan is still on a field day to operate whatever he likes in sinners' lives, and to challenge even the saints (Rev 12:12). The real joy and happiness remain in Jesus Christ. May every form of sorrow, aridity, pain, gloominess, distress, etc. be subdued by God's power, in your life, in Jesus' name (Psa 126:6). Though you had been called barren before, you will soon become a father/mother of great children, as many as you desire (Isa 54:1-3).
Therefore, you are enjoined to rejoice, dance and be exceedingly glad this day. Sorrow is for the sinner. In as much as you are no longer in sin, sorrow and sickness have fled your life. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Neh 8:10). 'Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!' (Phil 4:4)

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Oh Lord, banish sorrow from my life, in Jesus' name.
2. Father, attest to Your supremacy over the sorrow of those who desperately need Your intervention in their lives; come to their rescue.
3. God, put a stop to the activities of the occults and ritual killings in our nation, in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: PASSION: THE PASSWORD

READ DEUTERONOMY 8:1-16
MEMORISE: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:cool

Most times, the differing factor(s) between successful and unsuccessful individuals may not necessarily be their skills, expertise or ingenuity. It has been discovered that passion is the answer. To have passion is to develop a deep or in-depth affection, love, concern and care for somebody or something. Passion explains why Jacob agreed to serve further for seven years in order to have his heartthrob, Rachael, after he was deceived in the case of Leah! (Gen 29:22-30)
Passionate people of God place prioritise God and His concerns in their hearts. When a man's passion is pure, prosperity will court his ways (Dan 11:32). To be passionate is not necessarily to be overambitious (having inordinate affections). Rather, it is to be proactive, diligent and painstaking in carrying out an activity. Every lawful activity you involve yourself, or are involved in, is worth doing with passion. If you lose your passion, you lose your purpose. Passionate people prevent the peril of failure.
In your daily activities, secular or sacred, do you add passion? If no, try to do so today and always. You will definitely see the difference. This is the password to enter your prosperity. What do you think assisted Jesus to achieve the redemption of mankind? Passion! If you have to lose everything, do not lose your passion/enthusiasm.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Pray that God should help you to regain the enviable passion you once had for Him, most especially when you first believed.
2. Oh God, give me the undying passion to always stand for You.
3. Oh Lord, free our lands totally from the grip of insurgency and militias.

ANXIETY VERSUS GRATITUDE (I)
READ MATTHEW 6:25-34
MEMORISE: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6)

As human beings, we often have the tendency for anxiety. The nature of the flesh is anxious for both good and the bad. Our expectations and hopes for better life in the future, and fears of the opposite, make us anxious. When prayers seem delayed, we get anxious. When others seem to be getting blessed more than we, we tend to run into anxiety. On the sick bed, anxieties set in, for both the sick and the family. The list goes on and on. Yet, God's command is that we shouldn't be anxious for anything.

To be anxious is to worry and keep worrying about what is not directly in one's control; taking thought of, and being perpetually uneasy about the same. Jesus warns against being anxious about what to eat, drink, put on, and the likes (Matt 6:25-34). Doing this, is trying to take God's position. When a child starts taking thoughts of what to eat and drink, his shelter and life generally, he is unduly trying to take upon himself, the role of his father. When you become anxious for your life, you make light the creative and preservative role of God over your life. When you are anxious, its like telling God that He is incapable of taking care of you, and that you are therefore doing things by yourself.

Being a true Christian is living an anxiety free life, a life on God for all things, a life devoid of fear, no matter the situations. This is the life of God's children. They are not worried about the future. They only follow the Father's leading into what He has for them. In hope, they trust and hold unto trust. What kind of life are you living?

PRAYER POINTS
1. Oh Lord, shield my heart and mind from all forms of anxiety, and let me trust You.
2. Oh Lord, help me to recognize You always as my Father and the One who has a glorious destiny for me.
3. Lord, help those who have High Blood Pressure, because of anxiety and lack of faith in You, to get over it.

CHANCE FOR A FRESH START
READ LUKE 15:11-22
MEMORISE: I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you." (Luke 15:18)

If you did not begin well, you can gain a fresh start in God. God allows for new beginnings in Him. If you are on the wrong path, stop deceiving yourself that the wrong path can lead to the right. You must turn back to God and repent, before you can have opportunity for a fresh start.
The prodigal son understood this perfectly well. When he came to his senses, after wasting his living, in full-fledged profligacy, he remembered his beginning with his father. This is a true picture of one who began in the Spirit, but, sadly, drifted into, and continued in the flesh. When he returned to his senses, he turned back in the Spirit, through repentance. He was not rejected when he got home. Instead, he received a new beginning in the same status he had left previously.
There is always a second chance in God; a new beginning, fresh start with God. That you fell or failed is not the end. You can still get it right with your life, marriage, family, business and ministry. If you messed up in a way or the other, admit you have. Instead of trying to patch things up, rise up from your fallen state and make a return to God. Choose to start afresh and continue with Him, and He will restore all that you have lost.
Making a fresh start on anything, begins with the recognition of your present state and the desire to change your status, not with human help, but the help that comes from God. Through purposeful prayer, seek the face of God and do what you ought to have done aforetime.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. I receive the grace of God for change that results into development and progress in, and with God.
2. I will rise from my stagnant and falling state to progress with God in all aspects of my life, in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, give those who have betrayed You a new heart and start in the gospel today.

WATCH, PRAY WHILE WAITING
READ MARK 13:33-37
MEMORISE: What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!' (Mark 13:37)

Considering the significance of the subject Jesus discussed here in our text today, the closing words of the discourse, as given by Luke 21:34-36, are remarkable, as well. Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness (meaning all animal excesses, which quench spirituality) and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.
This command is proper, not only for those who were expecting the calamities that were soon to come upon the Jews then, but for all who are soon to die and to go to the judgement. We know not the time of our death. We know not how soon we shall be called to the judgment. The Son of man may come at any moment, and we should therefore be ready. If we are His friends, if we have been renewed and pardoned, if we have repented of our sins, and have believed in Him and are leading a holy life, we "are" ready. He who is unprepared, soon probably, while he is not expecting it, the cold hand of death can lay on him, and He’ll be hurried to the place of weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.
While we wait for the coming Lord to save us eternally from all the evils and catastrophes of the world, how important it is to be ready, and to escape the awful sufferings of an ETERNAL HELL! Watch and pray.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Appreciate God with a better knowledge of the essence of what you are passing through right now for the sake of the gospel.
2. Ask God for the grace to hold unto God in spite of the level and gravity of challenges God has ordained to come your way.
3. Ask God to strengthen brethren facing persecution for the gospel’s sake all over the world.

TOPIC: GREAT ESCAPE
READ: REVELATION 13:1-4
MEMORISE: While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labour pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
Do not be frightened by today's text as if we would delve into theological discourse on Apocalypse (doctrine of end time events). No. But know that the books of Daniel and Revelation have both suffered so many discordant assumptions published to the world, yet we can tell the difference that the Scripture is the only higher authority that is qualified to interpret itself.
The two books have the similarity of the beast referenced in respect to the civil authority, being powerfully depressed by the clerical. This beast that rises up from the sea, having seven heads, speaking blasphemy against God just as the angel interpreted it to Daniel (chapter 7:1-3, 23-24), is a prophetic symbol of a kingdom.
Why would the dragon (Satan) empower this beastlike kingdom? (Rev 13:4; cf. 12:9). What about the restrainer for now? (2 Thess. 2:3-4) And how come the people worldwide worship this sacrilegious beast and the saints overcome in war? (Rev 13:5-cool Beloved, let your concern be how you would escape this impending horror, and not the theological argument which saved none in the days of the destruction of Sodomy and Gomorrah except the man Lot, who heeded the warnings of the angels that said, 'Escape for thy life' (Gen 19:17; KJV).
What they said to Lot then, is what you are being told today: Be saved from this untoward generation (Acts 2:40). Abhor sins, unholy gatherings and associations; give your life to Jesus Christ now, that you may escape the great tribulation coming shortly.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. O Lord, save my soul now, lest I be destroyed together with the world.
2. Holy Spirit, always show me the way out whenever the devil strikes to push me out of Your programme for my life.
3. Ask God to grant everyone in the custody of kidnappers and terrorists miraculous deliverance from those dens.

BE GOD’S GIFT TO OTHERS
READ LUKE 2:10-14
MEMORISE: Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. (1 Cor 12:7)

Your birth (natural) is a gift, not just to your parents but to the whole world. And now that you’re a child of God (spiritual), your value to the world is unquantifiable. Today’s memory verse in New Living Translation reads: A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.
Imagine you’re cleaning out your messy closet, and there you find a beautiful gift a friend had given you many months earlier. Both of you were thrilled, then, at the giving and receiving. Yet, somehow, in the busyness of life, the gift became buried underneath your ‘stuff,’ hidden and unused. Now picture how disappointed your friend would be if he or she knows you hadn’t continued to treasure it.
God saved and graced you with His spiritual gift(s). You know that. Jesus came, lived, ministered and died as God’s most precious Gift to mankind (Jn 3:16). And because you believed that, you’ve become profitable by it, yet you, as Christ’s continuous gift grace to the world, are busy with the vanities of life. It’s time to live (first priority) as God’s gift to others, for He still counts on you.
You are the salt of the earth and the spiritual light in your community. Use your spiritual gift today to bring smiles, healings, and hope to the world around you that people may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Go, start right away. Somebody around you needs what God has placed in you. Be sensitive, responsive and responsible.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. O Lord, thank You for making me Your gift to others.
2. Ask God to use you today and all the days of your life, for His glory.
3. Ask God to surprise every believer looking unto Him for the fruit of the womb, with miracle gift-babies.

BE THANKFUL ALWAYS
READ PSALM 100:1-5
MEMORISE: Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. (Psalm 100:4)

This Psalm, as entitled in Hebrew, is not a Psalm of Praise as we have it, but a Psalm of confessional appeal to offer sacrifice or offering of praises and thanksgiving to God. Suppose it was written in the days of Joshua the son of Nun, when he had ended the war with the Ammonites, or that it was likely composed after the captivity, the purpose was in no doubt, a form of thanksgiving to God for that great deliverance, and an inducement to the people to consecrate themselves to Him, and to be exact in the performance of their acts of public worship.
It is your privilege and duty to be thankful in your worship activities. The religion of the true God is intended to remove human misery, and to make mankind happy and thankful. He whom the religion of Christ has not made happy does not understand the religion/redemption, or does not make a proper use of it.
Acknowledge God (Elohim – the uncreated, self-existent and eternal Being) in every possible way, both in public and private. He is our Creator, and consequently, only He has rights in and over us. Publicly worship God and when you come to the house of prayer, be thankful that you have such a privilege; and when you enter His courts, praise Him for the permission and give Him extravagant worship.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. O Lord my God, I offer to You today, my thankfulness, and would forever give You thanks in the great congregation.
2. Holy Spirit, let Your joy be very characteristic of me, so that I will always be happily appreciative of Your efforts over my life.
3. Ask that God should help every church member and leader to always see the tithes, offerings and donations we all bring to church as an opportunity to show our thankfulness to God, and not that we are doing Him any favour.

WHY THE RIGHTEOUS SUFFER
READ HEBREWS 2:5-10
MEMORISE: In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. (Heb 2:10)

In this world, there are mysteries that until we get to heaven, we might not be able to unravel. If you are to consider it deeply, do you think people who are holy, righteous, and faithful deserve sufferings, persecutions, afflictions or tribulations? A Bible teacher once said, “Holiness and righteousness are no antidote to Christian’s sufferings.” This may sound so stern but it is unpalatably the truth! That you are righteous or holy does not guarantee your immunity against persecutions or sufferings. No Christian would disagree with this if he/she takes after our Master Jesus who suffered all for our sake (Php 1:20-30).
Abraham, the father of faith, only became a father at hundred. Was that because of his sins? As devoted as Zachariah was in his peaceful services, he was denied having child until when he was well stricken in age! If all the apostles could face their own fair share of persecution and tribulation for preaching the gospel, then how shall we escape such? Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith was bullied, blackmailed, humiliated, and tortured before he was eventually crucified! For what offence? (Isa 53: 1ff)
If Jesus Christ was made perfect through suffering, you cannot avoid going through some sort of bashing whether verbally, physically, psychologically or otherwise. However, you are not alone in this. Jesus is with you. Only ensure that you are not suffering as a thief, gossip, murderer or any other criminal! (1 Pet 4:15) We shall understand bye and bye. May God see us through. Amen.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, I refuse to be cowed by whatever trials come my way as a Christi, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, assist the missionaries who are finding it tough on the field.
3. Lord, bail out our brethren who are facing hell in nations and communities where the gospel is outlawed.

CONTENDER OR PRETENDER?
READ 1 CORINTHIANS 9:19-27
MEMORISE: Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. (1 Cor 9:26)

In every competition, there are titles and prizes to be won. However, the title does not go to the early runners who seem to first set the pace. It is those who maintain the lead to the end that are given the coveted prizes. In soccer tournaments, each team is expected to win a number of matches before clinching the title.
As it is physically, so is it spiritually. Having given our lives to Christ, all of us in the Church are running a race on the journey to heaven. In singing, praying, evangelizing, worshipping, giving, and other spiritual engagements, we all look like heavenly conscious believers, whose home eventually is heaven where Christ and His eternal abide. But, all these may become costly assumption, should some still wallow in secret or open sins. Those who claim to be working for God in His house, but refuse to do away with sinful lifestyles are nothing but are pretenders/hypocrites, and not contenders! They deceitfully look like they are fighting a good fight of faith, but they are not! Jesus would deny knowing them on the last Day (Matt 7: 21ff). We have a lot to learn from Apostle Paul who determinedly disciplined himself in the Christian race (1 Cor 9:26,27). He ended up winning the good fight of faith (2 Tim 4:7).
Dear reader, is there any iota of pretence in your life? Are you really sure you are properly enlisted in God’s army? Are there no ulterior motives in your heart, only best known to you, as reasons behind your seeming dedication to the things of God? Kindly amend your ways today by returning to the Calvary into the waiting arms of Christ.

PRAYERS POINTS:
1. Father, please forgive me of all my pretence in Your worship and service.
2. Lord, deliver every Christian from the evil of pretence in Your house.
3. Lord, come to their aid of the fatherless and less-privileged today, in Jesus’ name.

MULTIPLY, BUT DOMINATE!
READ GENESIS 1:26- 29
MEMORISE: Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food” (Gen 1:29).

Nigeria today is faced with extreme poverty, unemployment, epileptic power supply, distressed financial sector, and political instability, among others. The latest challenge is insecurity. Religious and political insurgents and militias have besiege the nation, leaving thousands dead and millions displaced. It saddens, to say the least that most perpetrators of these killings and bombings are teenagers and middle-aged youths!
God originally created man for multiplication, no doubt (Matt 2:15). He intended the man He created to re-create others. In other words, procreation is the will of God, both in humans and animals. The bottom line, however, is, as good as multiplication via birth is good and splendid, it becomes terrible if we fail to take charge of the children God has given us.
If God gives the grace that you parent one or two or three… children, you are required to train them up in the way they should go, so, when they become grown-ups, they will not depart from it (Prov 22:6). The reason for the problem of delinquency in the world is not far-fetched. Many parents have shirked their responsibilities to train the children when they are still tenders
You might try excusing yourself from the wayward living of your children, but God rejects such excuses. Don’t just continue procreating; ensure you rule them well. Remember Jacob’s unplanned and uncontrolled birth really came back to haunt him! Please, take care of your children in God’s own way. May we not fail His standard on child bearing and rearing. Amen.

PRAYERS POINTS:
1. Lord, I receive the divine authority to have total control of my child (ren) unto Your glory.
2. Lord, visit every Christian home bedevilled with stubborn and unrepentant children.
3. Lord, deliver every youth who have been hypnotised into fighting against Your course, in Jesus’ name.

TOPIC : WHEN DAYS ARE DARK
READ : JOB 16:1-8
MEMORISE : In my anguish I cried to the Lord, and he answered by setting me free. (psalm 118:5)

When the day are dark, and the moonlights weep; when trees swim and oceans rock, when birds mourn and wild animals beg their prey, cry if you will that the order are reversed but never decline your trust in God, for nothing surprises Him. This is poetic, but real. To Job and his disgruntled friends, all was lost, but God had not begun unraveling the mystery of His almightiness. Stay with God when your days seem dark, and you will never be swallowed by the horrors of the unknown.

Like the friends of Job, the best anybody can do for you in moments of trials and pains are to offer miserable or empty consolations (v.2) . But don't detour or deflate your gallon of hope. When it seems that your strength is exhausted on the days of trouble, cry if you want to, but hang on still on God till He causes you to mount with wings as eagles and exchange your feebleness for His unfailing strength.

What are your aches today? See a tunnel ahead of you. The patriarchs of faith became heroes after their dark days were past, still found standing on their feet with their backs against the walls, not fidgeting, but fighting till they won all. You are more than able. Go ahead in the name of Jesus Christ until victory is achieved.

PRAYER POINTS.

1. Heal me when I call, O God of my righteousness: enlarge me beyond my distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

2. O Lord, when the dark hour come, You won't abandon me, since You have promised never to leave or forsake me.

3. Lord, visit every believer who is passing through dark hours of pains and sorrow, by Your miraculous power, in Jesus' name.

But in business, stick to qualify no matter what, the same 20ltrs of Emulsion paint sold for 3500, you can charge someone for 6000-7000 depending on how you can package yourself and showing them your past works. I charged 15k to produce 40ltrs of Emulsion paint for a Room and Parlour self contain.
But the money spiner is SATIN paint

EXCELLENCY OF WISDOM
READ ECCLESIASTES 7:11,12
MEMORISE: A wise man attacks the city of the mighty and pulls down the stronghold in which they trust. (Pro 21:22)

Once upon a time, there was going be a relay race between the horse and the frog. Considering the leaping nature of the frog compared with the swiftness of the horse, everyone had written it off and tipped the horse to win the race. Then the D-day of the contest finally arrived, and everyone was on ground to witness the expected humiliation of Mr Frog. But to the surprise of everyone, contrary was the case. Mr Horse lost the contest. When the frog was approached on how it managed to beat its opponent, it confessed to how it had planted other frogs in every lap of the race. It might be said to have been too cunny of the frog, but the application of wisdom (you might call it negative) helped the frog against the much stronger horse.
Wisdom is better than strength, and money cannot match its usefulness (Ecc 7:11,12). It delivers the wise from dangers. He who loves and makes wisdom a companion has life (John 1:4). Wisdom is the precious gift of God to the world (John 3:16; Rom 3:26). True wisdom is eternal. Wisdom is the greatest teacher, making the recipients wise (Matt 11:29; Lk 4:32). Arrogance and pride are not in his way. Through wisdom, the wise finds direction and makes correct decisions. Wisdom prevents his lovers from falling into ditch of folly and ignorance. He who loves teaching loves knowledge and truth. The friend of the wise is wise. The best pupils are those who make wisdom their companion. Wisdom teaches the wise godly fear and learning in the ways of the Almighty. Are you wise? Remember, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

PRAYER POINTS
1. From today, I receive the divine wisdom to outwit the devil, in Jesus’ name.
2. O Lord, help me to put insights garnered from Your Word into practice, because that is wisdom.
3. Lord, fill our national leaders with Your wisdom to do Your will on, and for the masses.

TOPIC: EPITOME OF WISDOM

READ PROVERBS 4:1-9
MEMORISE: Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. (Prov 4:7)

It is unrealistic to speak about wisdom without mentioning the name of Solomon. This can be likened to speaking about soup without mentioning salt. Someone might have even been tempted to think or hold that the name 'Solomon' means wisdom, had there not been the clue to it that it means 'the beloved of God.'
It is an understatement to say Solomon was an epitome of wisdom. Solomon's wisdom was immense. It is an exceptionally great wisdom from God. He was wise to have asked for the wisdom to do the task assigned to him. Given such an opportunity (blank cheque), would you have asked for what Solomon asked for? In all your getting, get wisdom.
Wisdom assisted Solomon to enjoy a peaceful stay in the office. His fame grew rapidly. He had a stable and settled empire, with foreign connections. The wealth of Solomon came through foreign direct investment and international trade importation and exportation business. Likewise, he could boast of a well-structured and equipped military. All these were direct results of his God-given wisdom.
Solomon was not the source of the wisdom. In fact, he was not, and couldn't have been, the wisest. The Bible confirms that we now have the One wiser than Solomon with us. Jesus is the wisdom and power of God (1 Cor 1:24). God gave Jesus to us for wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and deliverance (1 Cor 1:30). Anyone who has Jesus is wise from God's perspective. The biggest foolishness is not to give room to Jesus in your heart. A man of wisdom is outstanding, and excels in his God-given field.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, I ask for Your wisdom to carry out the tasks ahead of me.
2. I renounce the wisdom of this world that has no regard for Jesus Christ.
3. Lord, caution every 'minister of gospel' using other means and names apart from the name of Jesus Christ, and if they won't yield, punitively disgrace them.

THE POWER OF A TRACT
READ PSALM 69:11
MEMORISE: The LORD announced the Word, and great was the company of those who proclaimed it (Psalm 68:11).

Have you ever imagined what a tract can do in evangelism? A tract can go almost anywhere. It fits easily in the pocket or purse, enclosed in a card or letter. It can be mailed around the globe.
A tract presents its message quickly/snappily. It requires little reading. It may contain the only portion of God’s word some people will ever read. A tract does not require a special degree or skills to use. Any Christian can learn to use tracts effectively.
A tract is never intimidated; it doesn’t give up. It never gets tired. It can be read and re-read any hour of the day or night. A tract makes a good pass-along; the person who receives it often shares or drop it with another.
A tract can cross racial and cultural barriers that sometimes hinder personal conversations. It also has not psychological barriers; it helps the shy Christians in witness. It can reach both the rich and poor, educated and uneducated. It can speak to all ages—children, teenagers and adults.
God is calling to exercise that writing gift He has given you to produce gospel tracts, and go out to share such tracts NOW!

PRAYER POINTS
1. I resolve, henceforth, not to allow a day to go by, without giving out a gospel tract. Help me, O Lord.
2. Pray that God should help the Church to be awake to tract evangelism, and commit great resources, financial inclusive, to it.
3. Lord, make the life of every believer a living tract for the people of the world to see and come to You through.
