i always thought ebuka would wind up as a guiness maskot. the guy fire that Guinness no be small during his time in the house
So true, the guy didn't joke with his Guinness extra stout in the show. He actually got to be a brand ambassador for Guinness briefly after the show.

Which country did she call? Let's start with that.
You can't call places like Hong Kong or New Zealand and expect to be charged at standard rates

Hating another potential winner ?
Typical grin

Leo brought his shoes to the house , talked about it , marketed it and big brother didn't chastise him .

The Debbie rise another loser you were a hardcore fan of , basically had her song cunny cunny love on repeat and big brother had no issues with it .

Fashion designers like Khloe etc sample their wears in the house and big brother even though the show was sponsored by payporte a retail company that deals in clothes , big brother had no issues with it .

Mike brings out a cigar and all hell Is let loose . grin

You're comparing a T shirt branded by a company that is not in anyway affiliated with the show to a product of an actual participant in the show ?

I would have said something but I know it well fetch me a ban .
My issue with you and Akthedream is that you expect everybody to worship the people you support. The moment a reservation is raised about them, you start howling. I didn't see any footwear Leo brought in to market in the house, he was more about real estate. Are we comparing music to a branded product, seriously? That I like a housemate doesn't mean that I won't speak of any preferential treatment given to them, it's not hating it's called baring your mind.

its mike

everything is allowed

they didnt cover his company's name grin
That's preferential treatment and it's unfair. An housemate had most of his shirts confiscated because they were branded but Mike is allowed to bring his cigar and share with housemates, camera even focused on the Aireys pack. That shouldn't be allowed except if he paid to have the cigar brand promoted on the show.
TV/MoviesRe: BBNaija 2019 Live Updates (Big Brother Naija 2019 Thread) by dominique(mod): 9:45pm On Jul 11, 2019
Did big brother allow Mike bring his cigar into the house? Isn't that a promotional item? I thought they didn't allow such

We are just unlucky we could have won it more than 5 times now
If only we weren't exempted from 96 and 98 tournaments then cheated at the penalty shootout at the 2000 tourney, we would have won it up to five times by now.

Egypt own afcon.... Cameroon have won more than us
We have played more semifinals than any other African team despite not qualifying all the time. I don't think any team has won more medals than us (bronze in 92, gold in 94, silver in 00, bronze in 02, 04 and 06, gold in 13). We may not have won as much trophies as Egypt Cameroon or Ghana but we have got to be the most decorated.

emmasege:
Ordinarily, the management of OAU ought to have since immortalized George Iwilade and other slain OAU students by now.
They haven't? No building or structure has been named after them? That's too bad. There's a library in Unilag named Adekunle Ojo library (which later got converted into an e-library before I graduated). According to my mum, some students were organizing a peaceful protest and a policeman fired warning shots into into the air to dispel the crowd. Sadly the student Adekunle Ojo was hit by a stray bullet and died on the spot. This happened in the early 80s yet he name has been immortalized in form of a library till this day.

The people that paid the ultimate price to restore peace to an institution ought to have been immortalized by now. They made too much of a sacrifice for them to just be remembered once a year like this.
EducationRe: George Iwilade: The July 10th OAU Massacre, 20 Years After by dominique(mod): 11:28am On Jul 10, 2019
I remember the story even though I was still in secondary school at the time. My sister gained admission into OAU two years later, all jambites were made to watch a documentary about the slain students with lots of gory photos. Cultists were the ones running the school before Afrika waged a war against them. Sadly he paid with his life but peace returned to the institution. Very few people will make that kind of sacrifice this day and age.

Continue to RIP Afrika

Tboss herself wanted to be seen and pictured, that's why she decided to go into a crowded waiting room. If she wanted to remain private, she would have arranged for a backdoor entrance or booked an appointment off working hours

Checked your profile, can see you've sworn oath, so I don't expect you to be sane.

ISI is a secular school, which means it accepts all religions, at the same time recognising none. It's so simple.

You want to go to school and still practice your religion, enrol in many of the Muslim schools around the country. It's very easy.

But don't think you can upset a school's system because you want to be holier than the Arabs. It's insane.
The school never had issues with students wearing hijab before this new principal got appointed and suddenly changed the rules and you expect the parents to withdraw their children? JUST LIKE THAT? Nobody has raised eyebrows at conducting Christian assembly for four out of five days, but the Muslims want to adhere to their mode of dressing (which was approved by the school before this bigoted principal came on board) suddenly they're asking for too much. The principal is running the school like it's her private property which is totally wrong.
