I used to yab the Yorubas here over Ilorin until I understood how the Yoruba thinks

Ilorin is now part of Sokoto because of the actions of Yoruba Muslims .

The people of Ilorin are happy were they are and so it's not Yoruba man's headache.

This same attitude of allowing people to decide their own destiny is why there was no opposition in Ibadan when the minorities in the old western region tabled their demands to leave the western region.

A Yoruba man moved the motion at Ibadan and no single Yoruba member of parliament opposed it.

It was still another Yoruba man at the federal parliament that presented the results of the plebescite to the house for consideration and for the creation of Midwestern region.

The opposite was the case in Enugu.

You did everything to frustrate any motion calling for a plebescite and when they took their matter to the federal House, you decided to commit the unthinkable .

As for being landlocked, it is only those without proper map of Nigeria detailing Nigerias waterways that eill say so. Its not a must you must have coastline to have access to the sea, all you need is smaller bodies of water such as River, thst are close the sea. The proposed Obuaku sea port in Abia is even closer to the sea than Portharcourt wharf

You can avoid all this by restricting yourselves to your SE .

The reason for Adaka's revolt was because COR region was about to be carved out of the eastern region by the Federal Parliament after years of deadlock at the regional house in Enugu.

The coup of Jan 15, 1966 put an end to that excersice and worst of all saw to an Ibo dictatorship that dashed all hopes of SS people leaving the eastern region.

It's for this reason Adaka Boro declared to leave Nigeria as a whole

Ojukwu was the one who put down that revolt by bombing and killing Ijaw and minority villages which forced Adaka to surrender himself to avoid further killings of civilians by ojukwu and his Ibo army.

It's also important to remember that Ojukwu celebrated Ironsi's decree 34 that abolished regions for a powerful central govt with the regions reduced to mere provinces . Same Ojukwu will be calling for a return to regional govt after Gowon created states and when that didn't happen, Ojukwu dragged the same people that wanted to leave Nigeria to avoid the Ibo into his biafra .

The Cameroun mountain range extends from central Calabar up to Adamawa passing through Benue and Taraba.

Get a map and see if cross River shares a northern border with your SE.

Benue shares an extensive southern border with Cross River .
