How do you explain this happening to someone consecutively for 3 weeks, every day, and it happens at the same time of the night ,12 AM. Whenever it happened, I would see my room door under a lock, yet someone like a ghost would enter often in the image of a known person, and the torment would start, sometimes from that moment till morning around 5 AM. Did you use to wet the bed?

I did . And sleeping was stressful because whenever I drift into deep sleep that's when I pee so I always used to fight drifting into deep sleep just so I don't wet the bed.

Trying to sleep when you are highly stressed or in a stressful state causes this for most people.

I used to suffer a lot from sleep paralysis that it got to a point I was wary of going to bed.

In my case it occured more when I took a day time nap.

I found out the reason why I was suffering from it and it was down to severe lack of sleep, struggling to keep awake and a very very bad coffee addiction.

When you go to sleep, two things happen

1. Your body is exhausted and you drift into a state of rest.

2. But your subconsciousness is active for awhile until you attain REM.

3. Being ex military, we were always on alert and trained our body to fall asleep for 5 mins and no more. This always leaves the brain active and alert to threats and when on active deployment , we took rotation keeping guard and sleeping that lasted no more than 5 mins. For a young person this is doable in a high stress environment but switching it off when you are not in that stressed situation is difficult. To keep awake we drank barrels of coffee. How I wish we had meth back then it might have helped . Outside coffee, we had tobacco pills - good for promoting brain activity like meth.

4. Now from 3 above, I never really strained REM state of rest and hardly dreamt . But when I left that gig, I found it hard to sleep normally and at the very moment I am drifting into REM, by militarized brain tries to wake my body. It is at this moment I find myself being very awake but not able to control my body. A heavy weight feeling on my chest, inability to speak and a feeling of a malevolent entity breathing down on me while pressing hard over me.

5. I am in this state for what seems an eternity but it actually lasts no longer than 5mins.

6. When you fall asleep, your body shuts down voluntary actions but your brain never sleeps because it keeps running all those involuntary actions like breathing , digestion and most importantly brain repair. Dosing on high concentrations of coffee and tobacco supplements and adapting a sleeping regiment that prioritised body rest above brain rest in a high stresses environment was what saw me suffering for years this condition.

7. I know there are people who suffer from this condition who were not in my own situation and never abused caffeine like I did but it all boils down to stress and the struggle to just sleep naturally.

How many registered members do you expect a political party that just started getting attention less than a month to have? There is a difference between members and voters

That's not the point.

There must be internal party democracy in picking candidates for an election as demanded by the electoral act.

And same electoral act calls for widespread membership of a party so as to avoid creating regional , ethnic or sectarian parties

If NDC doesn't have the numbers and spread of registered members, it's then left to conclude that the party does not meet the criteria to be a political party and INEC should do the needful and deregister them.

To the likes of Giringori, his innate and dead-on-arrival personal political ambition should be considered high and above both all other individual ambitions and internal party rules.

Well, I don't blame him.

If Ojukwu had not given him a free platform under APGA , we won't even know he exists as he won't have been known as an ex governor today and a dismal one at that.

If Alhaji Atiku had not recycled the fraud into national limelight by handpicking him as his running mate in 2019, we won't have been inundated with his hair-brained mouth salad trader economics that he has used to fool many to see him as some sort of intellectual whereas he is nothing but a class A mor0n.

If Abure had not given him a free ticket under the LP , we won't have had him litter our sociopolitical sphere since 2022 after jetting himself on the national limelight as a candidate for the Presidency.

From his political trajectory , one thing is certain and that is that Giringori got to where he is by being offered the political pedestal for free .

But discerning minds will see a very disturbing aspect of Giringori from the point he left the LP in disarray to his short stint in the ADC where he came with an entitled mindset demanding the other aspiring candidates step down for him. When they refused, Giringori left to the NDC and secured an iron clad concession from the NDC that he and he alone be given the NDC presidential ticket and make it his personal franchise. .

Note that , Giringori did not insist on the ticket being zoned to the SE (and excuse he gave for storming out of the PDP when they denied him such concession).

Giringori insisted that the ticket being zoned to him and only him.

To those of you from the SE who backed Giringori after he decieved you to back him that it was the SE turn, know that when Giringori says SE, he means him and him only. To Giringori, only him is qualified from your SE to run for the Presidency.


This is how autocrats roll and they start by creating unnecessary divisions and class warfare , pitching the haves Vs the have-nots. They thrive on identity politics which Giringori deployed to full effect when he was running Anambra to the ground.

Giringori has it on record to have brought sectarian divide within the majority Christian populace by pitching Catholics against Protestants. But when it was continent for him during the 2023 campaigns, he remembered the Protestant votes and was raiding their church grounds to solicit for votes. His desperation for the Protestant and Evangelical denomination endorsement saw him calling a major Evangelical pastor and demanding he preach to his congregation to vote him as President and echo the Muslim composition of his opponent . Giringori declared the elections as a religious war.

You can see how he has progressed in his divisional tactics from pitching Catholics and Protestants against each other when he was governor of Anambra to graduating to exploiting the existing fragile fault lines between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria.

Giringori is of the devil.

All this madness by Giringori should not be tolerated anymore.

Today is the day of selection and not election.

Even the NDC stated that their charade of a primaries will only affirm whom their board has selected.
