This is news is not accurate

I just checked BYBIT. It's NGN1,388

NAFEX now controls the rate at the parallel market. As at Friday, the rate was NGN1,400 at NAFEX and the parallel market was NGN1,290.

Today, they have converged.

As I said, you are a boy. Wait till you birth your first kid with a woman you love. You would remember this comment and smile seeing how childish you reasoned.
I'm not saying no one can excel in 9ja, but then atleast Tiwa savage left. Even I may still come and settle in 9ja everyone with their different strategy, but I assure u, uld think differently when you grow older.

Come on sharrap. That has always being the lame excuse you guys give when all else fail. Your kids no send you and may even return back to Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Minimum Wage, Maximum Deceit And Moral Cowardice- Kperoogi by Donaldoni: 8:38pm On May 04
LegendHero:
This Farook just write for writing sake.

The government never claimed the wage adjustment is their minimum wage so how does that relate to minimum wage?

Minimum wage will still take effect just that truly the government have dragged feet too much. They should have implemented it by now instead of wasting time this much.

Also, this Naira floating and subsidy removal is taking a huge toll on Nigerians but I kinda like that it was done. For the past decades, economics have been blabbering and abusing all government that “float the naira” , remove fuel subsidy and automatically Nigeria become America.

Now that we have done it, people have seen that Nigerians are not well enough to carry the burden themselves. FG must understand that if within the first 2 years, things don’t calm down to a bearable level, people might not be able to continue to give them the benefit of the doubt.

My thinking is that Tinubu is expecting normalcy to return to the economy with the local production of petroleum products very soon.

If he increases minimum wage drastically now, will he reduce it then What happens to the excess cash in people's hands

Also. we cannot go into another election like this. Tinubu will definitely takes 'measures' to bring down prices of everything across board. Even Buhari did the same before 2019 elections.

Minimum wage #40k

Transportation #500 to work and back = #10k
Lunch at work #500 = #10k (20 days)
Rent #100k a year = #8330 a month
Tithe 10% #4000
Breakfast and dinner #500 everyday = #15k
Toiletries #5k

Total #52330

Savings minus #12330.

Let’s be honest to ourselves, which worker would perform their duty on this salary without compromising?

I wonder if some of you have sense at all sad

The minimum wage is the basic salary

Other allowances may bring the total package to 70k embarassed

Meanwhile, no Nigerian lives on salary alone. That's why we see drivers and gatemen living in their own houses and sometimes having their own cars.
