2 Corinthians 9:7 was talking about regular offering which we all give according to our wish and capacity.

Matthew 23:23 is backed by 2 Timothy 3:16 so it applies to the church.

2 Corinthians 9:7 shows also that the tithing law has been updated to whatever we individually want to give as shown in the screenshot below.

Tithe is tithe. Giving is giving.

Jesus addressed both when He was here.

That is why we give other offerings in church aside tithe.

24-hour days are a recent invention. That is why you cannot determine what the 7th day of Bible times corresponds to today.

Oga, read other version to understand, you are just throwing scriptures around. What has 2 Tim 3:16 got to do with this. It's same scripture with different interpretation to aid understanding. It's obvious you are not ready to learn, you read to argue and not to learn and understand

No part of scripture is for a specific group of people. It is for all of us. That's the summary of 2 Timothy 3:16.

When Jesus was around, the law of Moses was still in place. The disciples were paying tithe and were NEVER stopped.

Any day can be chosen to commemorate an event - e.g. Christmas day - the day of Jesus' birth.
