Anyone who has ever commented on Nairaland has an IP address linked to his/her ISP. The sim cards you use on your phones are registered with your names and addresses. ISPs can track you to your address using your IP address linked to them. I'm not in any of the security services, but even I can track anyone using their IP address. Now, think of what the security services can do with their IT assets. The security services can identify posters who indulge in persistent hate speech, and they will send Seun a court order requisitioning their IP addresses and associated data. The rest is easy.
