How things work? So from you POV 250 million Nigerians have to be in a political party, before everyone can see how things work?

I don’t want to cherry pick characters right now. Do you think Gani (with due respect) will be proud of Festus right now? From the days of John the Baptist people do things for reason. It is all about who they are. We are talking about nation interest here and all I see you gravitate towards is self interest. What is the pressing need of communities. Governance is not really of concern to you, but elections.

May I ask what you start seeing after endsarz?
Enjoy the rest of your day.

See I hate insensitivity. It easily get me irritated. What do you mean by this is the best time to protest. How many people were killed last month due to protest and what was the end result?

What was last month's protest based on?

Queuing and buying fuel 950 was not part of the plan rara.

I've since retired my car at a space in my street.

I've lost total confidence not only in Tinubu but Nigeria as an entity.

Senators collecting 21 million monthly
Dangote refinery scam and date push back.
High cost of everything expecially food.
Fuel scarcity and 1k per litre are things that I can't take personally.

I like Tinubu, but i like myself and neighbors more...

The current hardship is raise to power 10.... The last time I was at a filling station, there and then, I saw hardship. My people were fighting, queuing, dragging, sweating to buy fuel 950. I came with two 5 litre keg, after like 30 minutes, I left with no fuel but headache and big dissappontment, soon I decided I'm done...

Youths and misplaced priority. The queue is totally uncalled for. This is the best time to protest and a good reason to protest. Over a month and people are still queuing for fuel at ridiculous prices.

Can you help me with reason(s) why I need to join a political party. This will help me to answer your post.

So you will see things from a different perspective and understand how things work. You can join LP or PDP, it's not a problem.
Not everyone who joins politics do so for their own selfish interest. You may be there to learn or even become a delegate that will appoint the next person to represent you.

I was a very active member of the EndSars inner caucus, I attacked the government from all ends (didn't burn or destroy anything) but until some issues started popping up, I began to understand these older men are not really our problem.

Let me give you brief example:

1. Tinubu appointed 2 EndSars people into his government, in persons of Bosun Tijani and Betta Edu. I'm currently enrolled in 3mtt by Bosun, he deserves his credit for that but he's been grossly accused of using the office to expand his personal business' foreign dominance and exposure while Betta Edu on the other hand has been suspended for corruption.

2. Tokunbo Abiru of Ikorodu is part of the old order as a Senator but he has a tech hub in Ikorodu which I'm also currently enrolled in, name of the Tech Hub is "Sail Innovations", I don't know Abiru and I have never seen him. I was chosen on Merit like other candidates. I can tell you for free that Abiru's program is far more organized than Bosun's own.

Does that mean Abiru is clean? No! But you have to understand that these people are not really our enemies and the truth is staring at us but we refuse to accept it. So if you join politics at your ward level and you begin to see where corruption is, you will understand that it is even civil servants and permanent secretaries that show governors and presidents where to steal from. These things cannot be learnt online.

If you join politics at local level and you know about collation, accreditation etc. When someone says Mr A rigged the election, you will understand why someone like me will stand my ground and say it's not true because you have first hand information.

God be with you.
For those willing to add to my Lasepa and fiverr list, I repeat that I'm currently enrolled in 3mtt and Sail Innovations Tech program.

So false spoon feeding.. on no ground can any party approach INEC legally for any contact of registered voters.. there is always a non disclosure and privacy when it’s comes to contact sorting from an independent body.. so stop all this your Nursery school analysis.

When you register for voter's card. Your details are pasted on LCDA wall like a year before election. They don't even need to grin

They will still paste another list for LG election too.
He say na non-disclosure lol. Even on election day, all your list will be pasted on the wall for accreditation. It will contain all your details.

The only issues is that INEC uses a card reader and no one can use your details to vote. But inside life rigging still dey. No be all these Yakubu Cho-Cho-Cho wey una dey talk. Infact the rigging Nigeria is seeing right will be child's play when we switch to online voting.

Please is this legal? because i just checked INEC websites and cant find where to spool details of prospective voters, is this not promoting illegality
11. Extra: APC was most prepared for the 2023 and their hardwork paid off. Aside from physical party agents across board. APC also used "e-unit agents". First of its kind in the country such that prospective voters details in each unit (name and phone number) were spooled from INEC and used in building an application, each agent is allocated 5-10 people. You will contact them and give a feedback of their response.

Dey play. Names and phone numbers of registered voters at every unit can be requested and gotten. APC worked on the numbers they might need ahead of the election.

Note: the list is voters from 2019 election not 2023 election. They used this 2019 list to make a +/- forecast of what they need or not. Just like the voters registrar being pasted on your polling unit wall. It's available even at your LCDA, it's not something really hidden. The one at LCDA even contains your voter's card number.

I just read Donbrowser response to this and no gesture of offence, he is not being logical on election matters. An average APC apologists are not ready to analyze things, but project the we are all the same mindset.

I have said this over and over to people and I’ll say it again. We have crafty old men, who we do anything for power. The youths are easily distracted, either they are helpless or don’t know they need to put more attention to politics. These so called politicians don’t know anything about governance, but expert in winning or rigging elections. Like basically that’s their calling. Right now, the last election is behind them and they are already setting apparatus by putting allies in strategic positions. While the youths are busy with contents, BBN and football, the only thing an average politicians do is deliberation upon deliberation. It will be difficult to think one will just muscle them around wishing the space of 3 months. Plans they’ve been putting in place for like 3 years.

When people were busy shouting go an get your pvc, your vote is your right. I was just smiling. Una never see politics… they could muscle Jonathan out because he came from minority and he didn’t have the backing of the elites. Same fate I fear would have befall Obi, they will so frustrate his efforts, just as some regions are doing to this government. For 8 years, no protest. Day 1 of protest, they’ve scattered everywhere and who beg them to stop? Nobody cares. They say Northerners are using children for protest and as well giving ignorant people Russian flags, please where did the president won his votes? Same ignorant people. So if ignorant people are the ones deciding the fate of people like Lagos and Abuja, what actually do you expect, if not ignorant economy.

Do Nigerians still have faith in their PVC? Your guess is as good as mine. Lot of people activate their japa mood after last election. I don’t know what they are going to use to convince Nigerians to come out like they did in this last election, because right now? People don’t care. The protest tell it all… like we are just praying for divine intervention. If issue of manual transportation of results, you can’t vote here, Iya chukwudi and co is not put into consideration? These people will still outsmart Nigerians with another technicality.

Hopefully someday we’ll have a way to vote and it will count. We all don’t have to go to polling units, no thugs beating people. Just stay in your home and send entry within the jurisdiction one is entitled to vote. UK just did there election and we saw our peaceful and calm it was. So it is a thing of shame for anyone to keep using tribalism as a tool for being who they are.

In all, Obi won the people’s vote and baba won the vote of the elites. There’s a reason why you’ll never see the likes of Elumelu, Dangote or Otedola pick side during elections.

I admit I'm not being logical because I said things you don't want to hear.

1. Aisha Yesufu came to Twitter asking that all party agents of Labour Party should send their results to a particular WhatsApp number. Like WTF

2. It was reported before the election that Labour Party does not have party agents in majority of polling units across the country

3. PDP is the major opposition like APC and they have their own situation room too. Incase you don't know what a situation room is and how political parties collate results, let me break it down further for you:

3a. Every local government involved in the election has a dedicated computer and a person receiving the result.

3b. All party agents upon signing the result at polling unit will snap and forward to the collation center. The result is extracted into excel sheet dedicated for that local government

3c. Each collation agent will secure every snapshot taken by the party agent and save them for evidence of malpractice, overvoting etc.

4. When 80% of these results have been received at situation room, they do their maths to know if the remaining result is enough to give them victory or not.

5. PDP has all the result from their own party agents across the country same as APC. Can you say the same for Labour Party?

6. Rigging is not as easy as you think. Politicians rig but not the way you think they do. I won't say more than that.

7. I told you how Obi could not get 25% in 13 states of North East and North West leaving him with NC, SE, SW and SS. Remember, he also could not secure 25% in SW except Lagos. Now ask yourself that if Obi needs 25% in 24 states to win the election, are you saying he got 25% in all NC, SE, SW and SS states after failing to get 25% in Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Ekiti and Ondo State? Do the maths yourself and bring direct polling unit results.

8. If you want to be logical with proof I'm here but I will repeat again that Peter Obi did not win 2023 general elections and he came 3rd as reflected.

9. Go through the results again and see how Tinubu won the election, he chased the 25% across board and not just winning in some region. The only region Tinubu did not get 25% is south east. Just 1 zone compared to OBI that could not get in almost 3 zones and you claim he won the election, how?

10. You are here hoping that your votes will count one day, I laugh. Join a political party at ward level to understand how politics work. The people that will determine your next president are already preparing to work for chairmen and councilors elections so they themselves can become delegates but you're still hoping. Issokay

While APC was doing this hardwork, Obi was calling Oyedepo. Is that how to win election? 😁. You analyze and plan. Person wey no even sabi wetin BVAS mean. Abeg abeg

U still believe Tinubu and APC will conduct a free and fair election?
Look at this short history below

In 2015, many people came out to vote Change and SE, SS and NC came out to defend their votes. SW aligned with the NE and NW and we had the results below
APC 15m +
PDP 13m +
Total 29m votes

2019, e no really concern many people cos the alternative PDP brought wasn't encouraging and many people knew it will be impossible to unseat Buhari. Result was
APC 15m
PDP 11m
Total 26m votes

Then came 2023 with all the awareness, millions registered to vote and many more that had registered before but didn't vote all came out enmass to vote. The turnout was unprecedented, but alas when the results came out it didn't reflect the physical crowd we saw
APC 8.7m
PDP 6.9m
Labour 6.1m
NNPP 1.4m
Total just 23m votes

Let's think
How can an election that had the most publicity and awareness, an election that from the rich to d middle class to the poorest of the poor everyone were keen about it and had an interest in it. How can the most popular election since 1999 be the one with the least number of total votes cast.
There were allegations in Lagos, Plateau, Rivers, Kogi, Benue, Borno, Nassarawa, Bauchi etc that a chunk of LPs votes were destroyed or clearly reduced and rewritten allegedly because they lacked agents in the whole country. Have u forgotten so soon?
This is factual because normally this last election should have had minimum 30m votes.

What again do you want from the people? Bro, the people have tried their best, they came out to vote but there are saboteurs within, a house divided amongst itself cannot stand. Coupled with weak institutions like Inec and Judiciary. Even if we do whats in ur mind, it will not yield any positive result.
Next election, Tinubu will still win except something supernatural happens. Nigeria has been captured and we are a defeated people. Maybe there is hope we are not conquered yet but that tiny hope is fast fading away.

So the thought that whether 8m people will be available for Tinubu again is skewed and believing he will find it hard to win again is being unfair to ur mental health. Don't hold ur breath or bet on it.
Does it mean u believe the last election was a typical representation of the choice of the entire country?

Pearl can you give us the 2015, 2019 and 2023 total results of your polling unit?

The problem is INEC and the judiciary!

Obi won that election hands down. It was massively rigged by Mahmood.....and the courts were useless!

Obi won Lagos owner in his own Lagos.( Obi won with over 70% in mainland alone. I and my crew went from polling unit to polling unit) The margin was massive. The results were manipulated by INEC, not the polling units.

Obi won in FCT. Obi won in all the Eastern states too. Even if Tinubu had won in western states(of which votes were shared amongst the 3) he couldn't have won in the North! Atiku and kwankwaso would have had the highest votes in the whole north.

grin grin

Obi could not win a single state in the whole NE and NW region. He couldn't even get 25% in any of them.

That's a whooping 13 states out of 37.

He doesn't even have party agents in over 50% of the polling units of the whole country.

So tell me, how did you arrive at your conclusion?

To prove Obi won the election is simple, all he needed to do was to collect result from all his polling unit agents and present them in court. Same thing that PDP did and they realize they didn't win the election. Lol

PDP had all result of APC, PDP and LP even before official declaration because they have polling unit agents across the country that sends them results instantly as they are being counted at polling units.

That's why PDP and Atiku never challenged the election result and they challenged the process and character of Tinubu instead. That's why they ran to USA to start looking for a way to get Tinubu's certificate to disqualify him. Talk more of Obi that presented the same result of INEC to court or you think PDP will collate their own results from party agents seeing that Obi won and will keep quiet?

Many of you here think election in Nigeria is just Cho-Cho-Cho or someone sitting somewhere to write results? I laugh.

Let me make something clear to you incase you don't know, before any election is concluded in Nigeria, the major parties already have a foresight of their result.

That's the reason why Orubebe was crying and trying to disrupt collation of result because what they have from the situation room is not favourable.

Political party agents are key to any election. They make or mar any election. So far so good, I was in the situation room of PDP during Olushola Eleka vs Fayemi in Ekiti State where I worked for the former and he lost right in our eyes before official declaration. Our result already showed that. I have also been part of some other electioneering process.

Elections are not won by emotions but figures and facts.
I'm waiting for your proof that Obi won the election.

Peace Be Unto You.

Is obi the president ? Is obi the one making policies.. a Government asking Nigerians to endure but spending money lavishly , awarding 1km of a road to an ally at ridiculous rate.

Do you have kids? Have you thought out the situation of the country can shape their future? Do u have family members that are not earning well but yet having to compete to survive under the price effect of policies formulated by these government.

Have you travelled outside the shores of these countries to understand the role of government in daily survival of the average citizen.

Fuel subsidy was claimed to be removed and your Nnpc is asking the FG to write off some of their earning so the money can be used to subsidise some expense. Fuel is expensive and yet still scarce.

Be honest with your reality? Is this what you really voted for? Is this what a government that’s is assuring us to suffer now and it will get better policies looks like.

They failed with their dollarisation policies already, you can’t apply regulation without boosting your own forte. What has the government done to promote industrialisation of locally produced goods and services.

You can say anything just to defend your believes and probably political decision, but when you are left alone.. tell yourself the truth.

I'm done explaining anything to anybody... I chose to vote for Tinubu and I'm enjoying his government. You can't force opinions on me. Ask for my opinion. Ask me what I think the president is doing wrongly. If you continue this way, I will also continue that way.

APC controls two states in the SE, yet Tinubu came third. So why didn't they troop out to vote Tinubu?

Your argument was about the optics of voting between Tinubu and Obi. Why are you bringing in Atiku?

Tribalism obviously had a role in their individual performances, but using results to show it is dishonest and cunny.

There are other factors that obviously contributed to that difference

For one, SE has the highest concentration of Christians. Only LP had a Christian candidate, compared to the rest, even though a Muslim had just finished ruling. Isn't this a factor?

Quiet frankly, last election was not about Tribe or ethnicity for many people but for some Yoruba people. The Hausas do it and we don't really blame them because of their level of education and exposure.
I don't need to highlight that Igbos have always voted for Yoruba and Hausa when the candidate was more credible than the Igbo man in the ballot. Underline the word more credible.
In d last election it was clear that the Igbo man on the ballot was more credible and hard less baggage than the Hausa or Yoruba man.
Even many Yoruba and hausa people voted for the Igbo man.
So u can't gaslight the Igbo man for chosing PO. Rather till tomorrow, decent people should be apologizing for their role in supporting a person with many question marks on his head. just because of tribe or personal gains not minding the bigger Nigerian society.
The APC as a party was weaved with the fabric of sectionalism and thread of regionalism. Tinubu said emilokan, awalokan, and as a Yoruba person, if you are not in APC, or support Tinubu then u are not Yoruba enough, u are an omoale. now tell me what more can be defined as a tribal party or sectional candidate?
Let's not go into that, we are experiencing the hash reality of our rash decisions since 2015.
Even Onokpasa, a strong Tinubu supporter and spokesperson has recently conceded and turned critic that Tinubu is not going about the economy the right way.
The story for today is don't think u are better than ur neighbour simply because of societal class of having a 9-5 job or my pay is big. It's nauseating.
Many young boys and girls are making ur yearly income in a month doing seemingly odd jobs. The world is changing and its moving fast away from the conventional thinking that u hold dear.

There's no way you will talk politics or try to defend Peter Obi and you don't sound dùmb. I've always told you.

Only 2 states in Yorùbá land gave Peter Obi the entire votes that Tinubu got in the whole South-East yet we are the tribalistic ones because we stood for what we want?

How does that sound to you? Dùmb innit

PS. In context (Image attached): Out of 400k voters, only 4.7k voted for Tinubu
But out of 200k voters about 11k voted for Obi

And Yorùbás are the tribalists?

Do u see how upset you are because Pope insulted u... That is how upset a lot of people were when u said Tinubu has not changed anything that people have been suffering since 19kokoro. You touched nerves and that was very insensitive

A little self retrospection would have helped u talk better and be more sensitive of people's plight. Everyone is taking on d challenge of surviving and moving forward in these hard times, however they want to vent and lament allow people to express themselves.
In one breath you are saying u are still struggling in another breath u are saying Tinubu govt is not affecting you. Well that's your opinion, albeit, it is clear its a false one.
If what u post here is true, I remember u were adding 1 car to ur fleet yearly between 2019 and 2022, u have also been on a building project for as long as I can remember. You always buy toks, but today u r asking questions about Naija used car for 2.5m and builder is giving u 22m to do block work and roof only.
Before 2019, 22m will build u two houses and 2.6m will buy to a sharp toks RX300 or Toyota Camry Muscle. I am pretty sure your salary + income from side hustle has not increased by more than 50% of what it used to be but every single thing in the market has tripled since 2019 till date.
How can u in your own right personal judgement, sound the way u sounded and expect people to tell u well-done. Except u never had or acquired the things u say u did or u are plaqued by the sickness of tribalism and bigotry. U may not want to accept it but that's the truth.
Nobody is upset with u for supporting Tinubu, some may be disappointed, but largely people are used to it, however u where inconsiderate to what people are going through and the reality on ground today.

By calling someone an ordinary driver when I urself are one.. . is evidence that u may probably not be mentally stable. The house u have not started, many drivers on this thread have completed their houses long time ago. There is nothing u have, that a driver in this thread, have not achieved in life. I did ACCA far back in 2013, PMP in 2014, CBAP 2017. What makes u think in your tiny brain that u are even an inch better than an average driver. Is it because u have a 9-5 job, u travel on office paid trips around Nigeria and that u are building a house Even your MD/CEO is lamenting about the economic situation if not openly but silently and is probably considering how he will downsize to remain afloat and u are here ranting about getting a job and insinuating that somebody that has a job is devoid of complaints and is financially free. Sorry to burst your bubbles but u are on an imaginary horse, u are still on the same class like the ordinary driver, trying to spite Pope by calling him a driver is cutting off your own nose, it is self destructive. You aren't any better, so humble yourself and think like the educated man that u are.
This is not about politics, the urge to feel better than another man or the need to put another man down is witchcraft.
Igbo man vote fellow Igbo man (Peter Obi) = Good governance

Yorùbá vote fellow Yorùbá (Tinubu) = Tribalism

If someone says Tinubu's government has not affected anything, are we not practicing democracy?

I'm sure you can't carry this attitude outside Nigeria else you will see 2 gays kissing and you will start saying you want to talk sense into them.

Rest!
Pearl Rest!
Everyone here is an adult and they may decide whatever they want to do with their lives!
I repeat Rest!
