EducationTen Things Every Newly Admitted Student Should Take To School by dondavad(op): 12:59pm On Dec 15, 2017
1. Dictionary:
As a student, you need to improve your vocabs, so having a dictionary so around is a necessary commodity for spelling, pronouncing and knowing the meaning of words.
2. Reading lantern:
Any student without a reading lamp is a 'well I don't know what to call him/her'. A student should create time for his books and believe me, one of the best time to study your books is at night when everywhere is quiet and that's where a study lamp comes in.
3. Back pack:
Yes, having a backpack is a necessity. Your backpack helps you to move your books, writing materials and other gadget with ease.
4. Smart phone:
Yes having a smart phone is necessarily compulsory, I said it. It's no doubt we now have smart phones and dull humans. Smart phones can be used for variety of things ranging from sourcing information from the internet to keeping you entertained. Smart phones are now replacing scientific calculators and even laptops.
5. Bank account:
Having a bank account makes it easier for you parents or guardians to send you money. Plus you've got to secure your money, buy things online and start saving for the future. I can't even imagine a student without a bank account.
6. Flash drive:
Speaking from my personal experience, when I recently got admission, we were giving loads and lots of research work and term paper assignment to do. I didn't have a laptop then so I bought a flash drive. I'd borrow laptops from some of my friends who had, to carry out the research and do assignments, after that I'd save it in my flash, go to a café and print it out. I was able to survive like that until I was able to save enough money to buy my own laptop. So if you don't have a laptop, you might as well get a flash drive.

WebmastersRe: What Might Cause Google Adsense Insufficient Content by dondavad: 12:11pm On Dec 10, 2017
pabostt:
I got approved after the sixth attempt. The key is that you should make sure your contents are more than 25 and the words should be above 300. Also make sure your contents are original and free of grammatical error. And wait for like one month before you reply. Work on the contents you already have on your blog. If you can look into these, you will be approved.

Are you using or wordpress?
Hi.....
am David, do you think I can get approved with this blog www.istudentgist..com if I get a domain name?
what do you think about the content of my blog?

Anita20:
OK....
is linguistic a good course
dunno WATS it's all about but that's my second choice
can I get a job with it
if I eventually go study it

thank you
linguistics is like the study of language....

Jobs directly related to your degree include:
English as a foreign language teacher
Lexicographer
Publishing copy-editor/proofreader
Speech and language therapist
Teaching assistant

Jobs where your degree would be useful
include:

Civil Service fast streamer
Digital copywriter
Editorial assistant
Information officer
Marketing executive
Primary school teacher
Public librarian
Public relations officer
Social researcher
Translator
Remember that many employers accept
applications from graduates with any degree
subject, so don't restrict your thinking to the
jobs listed here.

The truth is looking at Nigeria now linguistic is not considered a professional course....it might reduce your chances of getting a good job after school (just my thought)
