According to Wikipedia, MLM (MULTILEVEL MARKETTING) is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they generate, but also for the sales of the other salespeople that they recruit. This recruited sales force is referred to as the participant’s “downline”, and can provide multiple levels of compensation. It’s a basically bringing a few people (lets say 4 people for example ) into a business and those 4 people you brought in, brings in 4 people each. These increase the number under your line (genealogy) to 20. That is 4 people initially brought + 4 people brought by each of them (4 *4 = 16). Therefore 16 + 4 = 20. As this hopingly continues, so will lucky winning streak continue. Don’t be mistaken, MLM is the trending 21st century marketing strategies, where enterprenuers / manufacturers / writers / investors sit at a location and their products gets to millions at areas where they would never reach on a normal basis. They may term it “Affiliate marketing” or “franchising” but when you get involved and look at at their “drawing board”, you will understand that you just landed in the same boat. The slang in business that for every original product, there are 5 counterfeit (fake) still applies here too. While we have genuine MLM companies (Note when I say genuine, I mean those that have lasted ages, and still existing currently), there are other numerous institutions aiming at your pocket. These companies come with practiced sentences like “this is a legally registered company under the US government”. The question you should ask yourself is ”are illegal businesses not registered?” For e.g. In Internet Fraud (referred to as Yahoo Yahoo in some countries), for them to be trusted by learned men and women, they must register their business. This therefore doesn’t make them genuine. BEGGING? Another case that must really tackled here is whether this has turned to some form of begging by some: where you see a neatly dressed gentleman walk up to you and start his well rehearsed speech about multi level marketing. In some cases you might even wonder whether they are for a religious cause, because some start with funny phrases like “someone has taken all the burden from you, but all you have to do is talk to only 4 people about this word”. For a second there, you would be wondering if he/she is talking about Jesus that took all the burden and told you to spread the word. In cases where you know this individual or he/she happens to be a figure/boss/leader/idolized fellow/celebrity etc, you would be voluntarily forced to give the sign on fees or buy the product. When this sugar coated mouth convinces you and leaves, you would regret why you fell for such, and will vow to get back your sign on/ purchase fee, which is by convincing another 4 people. Since To ask for a refund, then, is to admit defeat. INCOME “The Government investigation claims to have revealed that just 10% ofAmway‘s agents in Britain make any profit, with less than one in ten selling a single item of the group’s products.” -The Times Based onMona Vie’s 2007 income disclosure statement “fewer than 1 percent qualified for commissions and of those, only 10 percent made more than $100 a week.” -Newsweek How contradictory those written facts are to their proposed income plan in the images. Having in mind that there are also genuine ones, you won’t rule them out cos of the fakes around. I believe that there are people out there willing to join this market, here are some tips for them. 5 THINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR BEFORE VENTURING INTO MULTI LEVEL MARKETTING Multi-level marketing organizations with greater incentives for recruitment than product sales are to be viewed skeptically. It’s best not to get involved in plans where the money you make is based primarily on the number of distributors you recruit and your sales to them, rather than on your sales to people outside the plan who intend to use the products. Don’t be motivated by GREED. Don’t be mistaken, the economist says that human wants are insatiable and I totally agree with that. Also bearing in mind that life is all about risk: WHY NOT BE AMONG THOSE FEW, TAKING CALCULATED RISK Most of their core participants attend seminars, forums, trainings etc on how to convince people. They start with words like imagine making $500,000 in 8 weeks, and your like “500 WHAT!!!” And you make your decisions based on greed, you might be disappointed considering the fact that multilevel marketing is criticized for being unable to fulfill their unlimited promises for the most of their customers. Nigeria football looks to be, unfortunately, heading into a long, dark night as world football – governing body is set to wield the big stick today against the most populous black nation on earth. Even as the Super Eagles still have a chance of qualifying for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations to defend their crown, despite a poor start in the race; even with the Golden Eaglets, the reigning champions of the world, ready to compete at the African Championship to be eligible to travel to Chile to defend their world title next year, and with the Super Falcons reclaiming their continental title in Namibia on Saturday, non –conformity to simple football rules and regulations has put Nigeria at the danger of a big slam. On Saturday in Windhoek, Namibia, CAF President Issa Hayatou told Nigeria’s Sports Minister, Tammy Danagogo in clear terms that the world was fed up with Nigeria’s incorrigibility in the area of football administration. Hayatou’s words: “I had to plead passionately with FIFA President, Mr. Sepp Blatter not to take action on Nigeria on Friday, because Nigeria was in the final of the African Women Championship and a ban on your country would have been bad for the competition and our sponsors. We all heard the news of the court ruling on Thursday, and the football world is angry with Nigeria. That is the truth. “The FIFA letter that came to your Federation before the elections of September 30 was very clear about an automatic suspension should there be any interference with the political process, and after the elections went ahead, we all thought you had settled your issues.” The CAF supremo, at a meeting that had Nigeria’s Sports Minister, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Namibia, Ambassador Biodun Olorunfemi, Nigeria’s Deputy President of the CAF Appeal Board, Mazi Amanze Uchegbulam, CAF General Coordinator, Mr. Paul Bassey and CAF Media Committee Member, Aisha Falode in attendance, said there was no going back on suspension of Nigeria this week if football matters are not withdrawn from civil courts. “I appealed to FIFA to give until Monday for Nigeria to put its act together. After that, there is absolutely nothing I can do. It is all very disappointing because we have over 50 National Associations in Africa, but a big country like Nigeria is the one always giving us the biggest headache. “Nigeria signed to be part of the football world by joining FIFA, and opted to abide by the FIFA – approved Statutes that you have. How many times do we have to tell your country that football matters are not taken to civil courts? If Nigeria no longer wants to be part of the football world, then so be it,” an obviously exasperated Hayatou said. His French words were translated to the rest of the Nigeria delegation by the multi-lingual Paul Bassey. It would be recalled that FIFA President Blatter and CAF President Hayatou, as well as several National Associations and NFF’s partners and political leaders around the world, congratulated Amaju Pinnick following his victory at the September 30 elections. NFF President, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick, who was, inexplicably, stopped by security operatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on his way to Namibia on Friday night with the Sports Minister, monitored the meeting on phone. On Thursday, the Federal High Court, Jos gave a ruling setting aside the FIFA –ordered elections of 30th September, 2014 into the NFF Executive Committee, stoking the fire of anger at the world body’s Zurich headquarters. The NFF Executive Committee, led by Amaju Pinnick, has filed for a Stay-of-Execution of the order at the same court, which the court said it will be hear on Wednesday. Falode, who spoke from Windhoek on Sunday, said it was obvious the Government of Nigeria has to now intervene to avoid the hammer falling on Nigeria football. “The future of millions of Nigerian youth is being put at risk by some persons who feel they have nothing to lose in the case of a FIFA ban. It is now for the Government to wade in. If we get suspended from international football now, FIFA will not revisit the matter until their 65th Congress on May 29, 2015. That would be too bad for our country’s football,” Falode said. Hmmmmmmmmmmm |

Super Eagles’ interim head coach Shaibu Amodu has been handed a list of 66 players drawn from domestic and foreign clubs by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), to prosecute the two remaining 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers next month. Though Amodu did not reveal the names on the list but said that Nigerians should be rest assured that those plying their trade well both at home and abroad are on the list for a look in. 66 players? For real? NFF, i know that you have finally gotten the puppet you desired & can remote control him as you like. Plzzz, i think the main focus should be getting 6 points (the style is unimportant i.e weda na mourinho style or tiki taka) and not building a new team. We should also note that the time needed to sieve these players according to fifa calendar is less than 4 days. Thank God say you even talk am: - He stated that he is not desperate to be retained after completing the two-match assignment given to him by the NFF. “If they decide to give me the job fully, good and fine, if not, you all know me that I am not looking for a job. What I’m doing is a rescue job which I have been found worthy to deliver because of my past records,” the man who coached Nigeria to qualify for the 2002 and 2010 World Cup final said. What's your take? |
The Nigeria Football Federation has concluded all arrangements to send the best of Nigerian referees to the United Kingdom for a special refresher course beginning in the first week of December. The three–week capacity building exercise is aimed at preparing the best of Nigerian arbiters to become better officiating officials in the coming years, and to enhance their opportunities of commanding greater recognition by international soccer bodies. According to the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick, this move is part of the vision of the new NFF Executive Committee to enhance the capacity of our referees for the kind of prominence on the international stage that a leading football powerhouse like Nigeria deserves. “The new NFF Board is determined to train and retrain our referees, as well as coaches and administrators with an eye on better output. There is no reason why Nigerian referees should not be holding their own globally. We have the men and women, and all they need do is enhance their knowledge of modern techniques of the profession. “In another six months, we will get another company to sponsor another batch of referees to another refresher course. It is a continuous exercise. But selection of beneficiaries will be based on performance on the domestic scene. ” Pinnick says one of the cardinal programmes of his administration is to improve refereeing in Nigeria, and he sees no reason why a Nigerian referee should not be on duty at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia. The eleven lucky arbiters on the trip to England in this first phase, who will be led by the Chairman of the Nigeria Referees Association, Alhaji Ahmed Maude and the Chairman of NFF Referees Committee, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed ‘Fresh’, are Ferdinand Udoh, Abdullahi Shuaibu, Usman Isah, Samuel Pwadutakan, Orowole Tope, Egudia Efosa, Peter Ogwu, Paul Umuago, Musa Dung Davon, Olayinka Olayide and Ukah Ndubuisi. It would be recalled that as Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, Mr. Amaju Pinnick sent two respected referees, Messrs Paul Umuago and Dave Egho to England for capacity building, and the duo officiated Legends’ games at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge, homes of English Premier League topdogs Manchester United FC and Chelsea FC respectively. The trip is being sponsored by Senforce Insurance Brokers, which also sponsored Umuago and Egho on their trip to England, and which has always partnered Delta State Sports Commission on capacity building. |
