Starboy, Wizkid has achieved a new feat as popular US
Magazine, Fader has ranked his song Ojuelegba remix
with
Drake and Skepta as the 12th biggest song of the year
2015.
His song was among a list of 107 put together by the
magazine.
They wrote

Tottenham have completed the signing of Nigerian youngster Victor Osimhen, according to reports posted in London’s Metro.
Osimhen, 16, was the star of Nigeria ’s recent Under-17 World Cup triumph, with the forward scoring ten goals in seven games at the tournament, including one in the final against Mali.
Tottenham were reported to have opened talks with the player’s representatives during the competition, and according to AS he will now join Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Osimhen’s compatriot Kelechi Nwakali – who was voted player of the tournament – is also understood to be on his way to the Premier League with Manchester City.
If this compilation of Osimhen’s goals at the World Cup is anything to go by, Spurs have picked themselves up a serious talent…

Nigerians celebrate with 2 celebrities today, DJ Cuppy and Baba Dee.
Florence Otedola aka DJ Cuppy, is a DJ and music producer.
The 23 year old graduated from King’s College London in 2014 and also has a degree in Business and Economics.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music Business in New York.
DJ Cuppy started her deejaying career at the age of 16. Last year she was the resident DJ at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban.
She released her first compilation House of Cuppy in the same year.
Now an intern at Jay Z’s Roc Nation, DJ Cuppy went on her first tour, an eight African city tour.
Nigerian music veteran Baba Dee is also a year older today.
Baba Dee whose real name is Dare Fasasi is the older brother of Sound Sultan.
Baba Dee scored his first hit in the late 90’s and released his first album Most Wanted in 1997.
Over the years, Baba Dee has been a stalwart of the Nigerian music scene.
This year he released his first produced movie ‘ Head Gone’.

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State, Adamu Enape, has been kidnapped by gunmen.
Enape, who is a member of the Kogi State Pension Board, was kidnapped on his way from the governorship campaign tour of Idah in the Kogi-East senatorial district.
The kidnap took place at Ajegu in Ofu Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson for the party in the state, Bode Ogunmola, who was contacted on the phone, confirmed the incident.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer, Kogi police command, William Aya, denied having any knowledge of the development.
In a related development, a violent clash erupted on Monday between the supporters of the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party.
The clash took place at Ampa when the APC governorship candidate, Abubakar Audu, was on a campaign tour of Ibaji.
Eyewitness account said that the clash was as a result of inciting songs rendered by the members of a political party against the members of another political party.
Another reason for the clashes was the allegation that some party members in the area tore the posters belonging to another party and this led to a free-for-all.
One person was injured in the clash.

Two Female suicide bombers killed at least three people and injured many others after blowing themselves up in Ngouboua village in Chad. Ngouboua is home to displaced Chadians as well as Nigerian refugees who fled Northeast Nigeria due to Boko haram attacks.

"I can confirm that there was an attack in Ngouboua," said Chadian police spokesman Paul Manga. Meanwhile 14 Boko Haram suspects were killed on Monday last week by Chadian police. See their corpses after the cut...

A group, South East Progressives Assembly (SEPA) has threatened to drag President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruing All Progressives Congress (APC) to court over the inability of the Federal Government to commence the payment of the monthly Five Thousand Naira (N5,000 stipend) to unemployed Nigerian youths.

President Buhari and the APC had during the electioneering campaigns promised to pay N5, 000 monthly stipend to unemployed Nigerian youths.

“The South East Progressives Assembly(SEPA) wishes to convey its intention to challenge the non-payment of the monthly Five Thousand Naira(N5000) stipend promised to unemployed Nigerian youths by the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) and President Muhammadu Buhari during the campaigns,” a statement by SEPA, titled “Our Intention to Sue President Buhari And APC Over Non-Payment of N5000 Monthly Stipend to Nigerian Unemployed Youths”, signed by its President, Ebere Uzoukwa, said.

“Our decision to explore legal option on this very particular issue is largely hinged on the overriding fact that APC’s manifesto which contains some of its campaign promises and that of President Buhari undoubtedly remains the real bond between Nigerians and the governmental the day.

“President Buhari presented himself to Nigerians as a man of great reputation, sincerity and truth. He promised Change as well as certain programmes and policies that shall drive the expected Change policy. This among others include the monthly payment of 5000 Naira stipend to unemployed Nigerian youths.”

“The growing tradition of denying campaign promises, proclamation of Nigeria as a broke and most corrupt nation by Mr. President while in foreign countries, propounding excuses on alleged failures of the immediate past government, inability to define policies and direction, alleged refusal to continue some of the lofty programmes and projects inherited from the past administration, perceived selective fight against corruption, alleged political vendetta against perceived political opponents, exclusion of the south east and south south zones from the inner cabinet of the executive and perceived sectionalism judging by the actions and body language of Mr. President, have largely cast serious doubt on the sincerity, uprightness, truthfulness and overall reputation of President Buhari,” the group said.
