Am using ALL the Apps I've been using in my in my previous phones without any problem,so I don't know what you're talking about,and on my usage pattern I've got no problem with the battery,not the WORST I've seen either..
I've got a tempered screen protector installed and so can't say anything about the phone's scratch resistance,and I don't know of LAGS while playing games,it plays MY games EXCELLENTLY well and neither GSMArena nor Phonearena reported any excessive heating while using..
I bought the phone and am enjoying it,you on the other hand came here made a LOT of noise about buying it,can't AFFORD it,turns around and start BASHING it,dishing out VERDICTS out of thin air,it would have been funny if not pathetic.. MMADU ANAGHI ABU OGBENYE BURU AMUSU..

Show me a phone that is 100% perfect and I will show you a phone that doesn't exist..every phone has its quirks,the ISSUE is,is it enough to mar the overall User Experience especially factoring in the price point,AM using the phone and if given a chance to buy it AGAIN at its price point I'll still do it all over again,that is greatest endorsement I as an OWNER can give it..

Its a $140 phone,if you want a Flagship grade phone,you should be ready to fork out at least $600,the same GsmArena,if you are not nitpicking has mostly positives to say about the phone based on its price point,and from a personal experience it's not the worst battery life I've seen either..I'll also refer you to Phonearena;BEST phones to buy in 2015,BUDGET segment..

Battery Optimization is a software issue which can be fixed and is being fixed by Xiaomi with their periodic updates,apart from that ALL the REVIEWS I've read have nothing but MOSTLY glowing points to say about the phone's User Experience..

Powerful hardware, good size 5 inch mobile, still relatively expensive on second hand market. Compare it to flagships that came out in 2014, you will find out it is still the most expensive. Great phone

I have been using the phone for getting on to 2 weeks now and am thus much more qualified to pronounce a verdict on it than you ever are,l mean seriously how can you pronounce a VERDICT on a phone you've NEVER even seen..
Firstly,I've been using it the way it was out of the box,am not one for tweaks,even though there's an update waiting,and the phone has been working to my satisfaction nonetheless.
Again I don't know where the issue of battery drain is coming from,as I mentioned earlier the battery life is better than my Galaxy Note 2 ever was and I still stand by that.
Seems to me the majority of people complaining about this phone have NEVER seen talk less of owning it,the impression I've got from REAL owners like ME are of SATISFACTION with their Redmi Note 2..

Try this:.....
