My brother's A7 has 401ppi on a 5.5 inch screen, according to CPU-Z, but to be honest, there is no telling them apart when placed side by side with my S5's 431ppi on a 5.1 inch screen. Theories and reality ain't the same, bro.

That is why it's called "power saving". Its not dull. It just reduces the brightness to the barest minimum. And it does happen when phone is 15percent.

Let me just see where they have that G3, if I don't buy it let me know what caused it.

My S5 even when on Power saving mode is bright enough, especially on dynamic display mode. The same can't be said of G3 where it becomes so dark that you can barely see anything even when you're indoor.

I read somewhere that the human eyes ceases to differentiate the difference in colour density at normal viewing distance, when pixel per inch exceeds 330. So I don't think anyone can really notice any difference between a typical QHD screen and a typical FHD screen that falls within the 330 spectrum. HD display, however, can easily be told apart from the duo because it falls outside the 330.

Story . That was Steve Jobs hypothesis that died with him. Get a phone with 441 ppi and compare it with that of 401ppi you'll even notice the difference when reading webpages or texts, not to talk of 330ppi.

From what I heard, the battery life is deplorable, and the UI lags a lot.

I don't also beliv the G3 lags. (I later went to that Guaranty shop at Temp site Unizik and they said they no longer have G3 ) so ever since then I haven't seen another place to buy yet. The phone seems to be very scarce and that sucks. But my experience with galaxy s4 and LG optimus G pro makes me have more confidence in LG phones. My S4 started lagging heavily after about 5 to 6 months and I didn't install much apps...just the necessary things. To launch phone, text msg, calculator, contacts and other phone apps took at least 4 to 5 seconds and I found that very disgusting. On the other hand my G pro was opening everything with lightning speed . S5 however, is not excluded from this Samsung bloated touchwiz_ though I haven't used the s5 for like hours (to actually notice how slow it is) I'm almost 98% sure it would lag; at least some reviews mentioned it.
Plus I forgot to mention, my s4 started peeling those silver coating round the phone(even though it never fell down for one day cos I was very careful with it) after some time...within 5 months. Am also sure the s5 would peel with time if u don't use those awkward looking pouches.

Battery life is not all there is to a smartphone. I mean there are tons of good quality and affordable powerbank out there. I also don't believe that the battery is that poor. According to phonearena battery test(na only them know how they test), they said Galaxy S5 lasted 7hrs plus while the G3 lasted 6hrs plus, so if that be the case the battery isn't so bad after all. I was expecting it to be around 3hrs or 2hrs for the G3, then I'd beliv the battery is really horrible.

I don't understand what you meant by "Official" but if you meant Official from LG then no but if you meant Official from Cyanogenmod then yes.

The pixel density of a device actually has nothing to do with the device's brightness. Pixel density affects the sharpness of images and crispness of text. It has no import of how much light a screen emits.

How can you differentiate HD, qHD ,FHD and QHD screens?

I use an LG G3. I have been using it for 7 months now.

it is a very fast device but due to it's screen density it stutters some times when going through some animations. if you increase animation's speed or turn them off competely, the device is very snappy and runs through every task without breaking.

The display is really nice, not as nice as the LG G2's (sometimes I find myself staring at the G2's display because everything looks so nice in it) but way nicer than other displays. The display had this weird "oversharpening" issue where texts or some images show some "ghosting" effect on grey backgrounds. You may notice this or you won't but if you stare at the display a lot, chances are that you will. Also, the display is not bright enough. It always looks darker than other device's displays.

The battery lasts long that most times, I do forget to charge the device. I can't give you the precise duration the battery lasts for me on an average since the intensity of my usage of the phone varies per day.

No, I don't play games with the device.

I have rooted the device and installed Cyanogenmod 12.1 on it. this fixed the display issues (except the brightness). Now, the phone is fast as f*ck and buttery smooth. Android 5.1 is lag free.

Is your 5.1 the official one ? But how could the G3 with its QHD screen be dull? That's weird.

Seriously contemplating flashing Lollipop 5.0 update to my S5. all the tools for a successful flashing and installation are available: Laptop, Odin, Samsung android usb driver, lollipop 5.0 firmware.

About 3 weeks now that you started using your S5, this is the right time to come back and give us your real user experience. I'm waiting for that.

It seems people are just selling their LG G3 phones, what could be the reason?

Thanks for sharing your experience. Once again I sincerely apologize for the shipping delay. It was caused by DHL logistical problem.

Secondly, u didn't state that ur shipping came at no extra cost,i.e shipping was free. I ship similar power bank to a non nairalander in port Harcourt and it get to him the next day. Yours was really unfortunately and such incident rarely occur. An Glad u get ur device in one piece. Enjoy.

Ok people, I'm here to give a lil review of this Romoss Solo 5 powerbank from just2endowed.
I paid him and he said I was gonna receive the package within 24hrs but unfortunately that didn't happen and he was nice enough to always tell me what happened along the way that caused the delay so I later got the device after 3 days (which isn't too bad anyways). One thing I love about the guy is his interpersonal relationship.
Now unto the device, when I got the package, opened it and what I saw was a beautifully made powerbank and sturdily built also with high quality polycarbonate. I got home and charged it, it had 3 bars of the battery gauge so I tried to charge it to complete the remaining 1bar (mehn it took quite some time but I could blame that on the charger) and eventually I completed the charging.
Today I tried to charge my phone with it, my gawd the thing was blazing fast. Topped up my phone with 3200mah battery from 8% to 100% in 1hr 43mins (that was really fast cos my charger normally charge the phone for 3hrs plus or minus 10mins) and wait for this, after topping up this my phone, the powerbank didn't drop even one bar, like the 4 bars are still in tact. So if it goes on like that, maybe I'll be getting up to 4 full charges on my phone from a single full charge of the powerbank and that definitely will make me very happy.
The cable that came with my unit is very short but I still used it like that.
So all in all, the guy is good and genuine. His goods look promising, go on and order for one if you haven't. It's also affordable I should say.
However, these are my first user experience and impressions...would definitely come back to talk if I notice new things.

Since we all know airtel for their shocking ways of zapping any subscription on their network, but with this new offer don't except nothing much just a strategy to get their head back to the market,
Won't be surprise if the data is been zapped like they always do.

Initially, this plan 3GB for N1400 was introduced six months ago and it was tested to only work on Blackberry phones. it doesn’t work on Android nor iOS. But early hours of this morning, Airtel sent a text confirming the reduction to N1000 for the same 3GB.


Not just that but N1500 for 2GB plan has now been increased to 3GB. This plan works on all device but I can’t guarantee you if it will zap normal or not.
