Unlimited22:Yeah. My bad. You're correct. I was actually trying hard to remember where he was from. |
Watch this video and see why this man should be our next president. Nigerians please I beg you, don't surrender your futures to people who just want to be presidents for the sake of their egos. We need men of vision. Let's go labour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsgAVwiJ5qI Click this link and hear more from this man and why he should be our next president. https://twitter.com/Chude__/status/1492107474702381059?t=bW8Jgtr6d_RSWEXsRjiAdQ&s=19

popizaino:These were the original inhabitants of America, but the new European immigrants banded together and killed them for land settlement. |
NinjaXmetahuman:Okay I'm just seeing this point. Good! It's essentially the summation of my point up there. We need to shed our ethnic and tribal identities. We need to embrace Nigerian patriotism. See ourselves as a nation first, not as a tribal group. |
NinjaXmetahuman:At the bolded, that is literally how America was founded. America is a country that embodies the word diversity. The earliest white people that formed America were immigrants of french descent, English descent, German descent, Irish descent, Dutch descent. In short these were people of different European descent and you best believe they were not the same people. A European of Slavic descent is very different from a European of Scottish descent but somehow when they all got to America, the men all banded together, put away their religious differences, which we're very huge at the time, a Romam catholic did not see eye to eye with the Anglicans or the Lutherans or methodists etc, etc. Once they landed in the newfoundland (America), they put away all differences, banded together and formed a new system of government, they gave the word patriotism a new meaning, their flags became a sacred symbol. They formed a new picture of what it meant to be an American. many of them formed a new ideology called white supremacy where they believed scientifically that their race was better than other races and proceeded to subjugate the black race who provides free labor upon which to drive and build their economy. When we talk of disintegration, I laugh. I laugh because I want to ask the person, into how many groups are we going to disintegrate? Into 4? 6? 8? 10? Do you think an ijaw man aligns completely with an Igbo man? Do you think an ijebu man aligns with the yorubas in Kwara state? What of Tiv and idoma people who have been embroiled in ethnic clashes for decades? So I ask again, into how many parts should nigeria be divided into? 8 countries?? Africa and Nigeria especially has sooo many different ethnic groups, what makes you think that disintegrating into thousands of smaller groups will lead to better governance? The solution is not disintegration because disintegration will not automatically equate to good leadership. Look at rivers, bayelsa, akwaibom and cross rivers state? 3 of those states are some of the smallest states in Nigeria and they receive about 35% of federal allocation collectively, they also have a whole ministry to themselves and yet how are the leaders using that money? Those 4 states have received 100 billion dollars in the past 5 years alone? Is it the hausas that are making the leaders to squander such wealth and not build a long term developmental plan for their region? What of the poor leadership in the east, is it because of the Fulani man that eastern political leaders are one of the most useless in the country? He was talking about how power rotation and zoning was an issue that affects effective leadership. One would think it was only a national issue? Even within local governments in the same states, you see those same people clamouring for the LGA chairman to come from this village since the last one was from the same village. It's an African thing. This idea of leaders coming from one's place is not the same in other countries. Look at Obama whose father was born and bred in Kenya becoming a us president. Look at Arnold Schwarzenegger who was born in Russia becoming a California governor. Some US senators are not even residents of the state they represent. They look towards merit and qualification not where the person is from. So no disintegration is not Nigeria's solution. It's a change of mentality. We need to shed our ethnic identity over time, rather than seeing ourselves as Yoruba or Igbo or idoma people, we see ourselves as Nigerians. When we start thinking of ourselves as Nigerians, we would get things right. |
Ibime:That guy is the most confused Human being I've ever known. When reading that sentence he made "everyone craves world war 3",I knew he has lost it mentally, he is soo knee deep into anti-western propaganda that he can't even reason properly again. Him and who wants world war 3? See foolish talk abeg. |
UncleHaba22:These two scenarios are very different. Peter Obi joined labor party and within 2 weeks was the party's nominee. the party was almost unknown until Peter Obi came there. Contrast with Nnpp that have had months and years of planning and structuring. There's no way you would expect both their primaries to be the same. |
Izuchukwu, apparently Peter obi's faction of the labor party is what is recognized on INEC's website.
|
Arewa Twitter poll. ![]()
|
izzou:I don't even know which news is true anymore. The labor party handle which peter obi confirmed on Twitter says that there is no split or division in the party. Doyin okupe, obi's right hand man has said there are no splits but we keep hearing these things. Last last, na inec go settle am. But my own be say whoever dey do faction for that labor party dey mad, it's obvious to the blind that Obi is the sole reason the party has garnered national attention in the last few months. Maybe some elements just want better bargaining power or something but they would be extremely stupid to let this opportunity pass them by. Obi landing on their lap is just like them getting a golden goose from nowhere. They should better solve whatever problem they have. They already have the fans doing soo much in the background. |

Seun:Ehh, baba don land! Baba, abeg no vex oo. Here na our general market. All and all is discussed here na why the page dey move fast We have all manner of discussions here and in a polite manner with each other. Abeg, seun try to do your part in encouraging everyone to get their PVC. Like set it as a sentence somewhere on the front page or something, my humble opinion. |
Oasis007:Just come out and declare proudly for Tinubu, stop dribbling about. Own your support of the drug baron. |
camri:So you no get work, your own na just to dey go every single thread dey shout tinubu tinubu up and down. Shame no catch you.

When this first came out, I remember deriding it as a witch hunt because I wanted APC to survive and win the PDP. But the most important thing in this article is the diagnosis of Parkinson which we're only really seeing now. He has been undergoing Parkinson treatment in London. But most pertinent of these is the fact that this man doesn't go to America because he still has outstanding legal problems. The truth which we chose to be blinded to because of emotions has now surfaced itself to be true. I vehemently opposed this article when it was a hot topic years ago.

Peter Obi and Ojukwu both won their elections on the back of a newly formed party called APGA. They both won those elections but the results were rigged and their mandates stolen. Ojukwu decided not to contest his result on the basis of ill health but peter obi took his case to the courts and 3 years later was given his Justice and his mandate returned. He was the very first Nigerian governor to win his case in the courts. The man has proven before that he can win even as an underdog. He moved to the PDP after soo much wooing efforts by Obasanjo and subsequently good luck Jonathan. Obasanjo wooed him with the ministry of education slot after seeing his works on education in his state but he declined and insisted on fighting his impeachment. Obasanjo then settled for Oby ezekwesili who went on to become another good national appointment from Anambra after Dora akunyili. He won that wrongful impeachment case and continued the rest of his tenure. Immediately after his tenure, Jonathan successfully lobbied and wooed him to the PDP by appointing him the chairman of the Nigerian securities and exchange commission. Thus he had now been on both sides of the corporate worlds. Head of Private corporations and head of government regulation. Chairman of Nigerian stock exchange and chairman of Nigerian securities and exchange commission. The man was a trader. Selling Goods in Onitsha main market, then being the sole importer of some foreign brands, then sitting on Various corporate boards. He is what you call a self made man. The embodiment of the igbo entrepreneurial spirit. Now compare that to others who were known money launderers for drug cartels, and those who made billions from the government customs and a corrupt privatization process of our national assests. It is indeed shocking that the top 2 leading candidates of this election would be people who once had outstanding arrest warrants from the US governments. What a shame.

aieromon:I just saw your topic on visa and it touched me to the core. I was a victim. |
aieromon:Okay, now this makes a lot of sense. Let me remind people once again that only 15% of the population voted last election. That number is on course to be doubled. Nigerians please don't let naysayers deter you from participating in the forthcoming elections. Don't align with people who take joy in seeing the continuous rubbishing of our already corrupt and decrepit politics. We can change things. We have the numbers to change things. We just need to realize that. We need to realize the power of the PVC. Please get your PVC before the window closes. |
NinjaXmetahuman:Why? You are in Nigeria right? |
NinjaXmetahuman:Ninja have you made your decision on your choice of who want to be your president? Have you got your PVC? |
It's often said that people online don't vote. So please, if you're reading this post, endeavor to have your PVC ready or make out time to register and vote. Many of the naysayers here DO NOT have a PVC. You and i are the ones who have to enact the change we want. They are just making unfounded predictions for the fun of it, nothing else. Nigerian's dirty and corrupt politics just amuses these people so they have no stake in it. Please endeavor to get your PVC. It's the only tool you have against the system. Thanks. |
Ibime:Should me and you bet that one. I'm ready to stake that. |
EmmanuelScott1:Start ignoring the drunkard. He's saying all these just because of me. He just wants to be on the opposite side of everything I say. Ignore him and he would disappear. |
I repeat! Please stop making projections based on past results! The registration numbers are telling a story of their own. For the first time in a long time, many Nigerians are motivated and driven to vote for a person. Celebrities are organizing campaigns for people to vote AGAINST the current government. Especially for those not yet willing to flat out say vote Obi. Churches are directing priests and pastors to sensitize their followers to vote AGAINST this government. Markets are closing around the country for people to go and register and get their PVC. These people and organization that are telling people to vote AGAINST the system, do you think they're doing these for atiku? No, so many influencers and celebrities have already declared for Obi while those who haven't declared are doing so under the banner of telling people to go and get their PVC with words like "are you not tired". INEC is on track to register 20 million new voters before the end of this month. Which candidate do you think is leading this charge?? Again, please stop using patterns of last voting to predict this election. The present numbers are showing that that states like Anambra, Edo, etc are about to go from 10% turnout to 70%. That's a huge shift that is bound to unbalance and predictable pattern. All projections that were made before primaries, you see how many of them were wrong, from wike to Osibanjo to Amaechi to Obi. All turned out unpredictably. Nigeria is in labor. The future is expectant.
|
A001:I will first ask you, who is your preferred candidate so far? And do you have your PVC. Then for the rest of your answers. See below and be satisfied. After watching these videos, I expect to be welcoming you into the fold of our youthful revolution. Welcome in advance, my dear comrade. https://twitter.com/Chude__/status/1492101695924539414?t=4QngdFlHjZmR0psm-i33zw&s=19 |
For the purpose of clarity, I would like to reiterate my points yesterday so that I wouldn't be mischaracterized. Please if you have the means and the adequate support structure to leave the country, please do so. I myself have that plan in mind and have actively worked towards it. What works against me is that I don't have anyone I know in Canada which is my preferred destination. And secondly as a worker, you need proof of funds or close to 15 million naira for my class of visa and I had just over 60 percent of that personally. My parents are also not in support of me leaving because in their eyes "we are all comfortable" and they want their grandchildren to be close to them and they don't like me going into another country blind. In other words no existential pertinent reason or urge to leave immediately. But it's no doubt still at the back of my mind. HOWEVER, if you don't have any means to do so, please don't rush into it, don't go in blind. Don't go against the wishes of those close to you and depart without being a hundred percent certain of the challenges ahead. I felt the need to present both sides of this because I thought that everybody who was pushing the japa narrative were making everything out to be a complete bed of roses. Were making those countries to be a place where absolutely nothing can go wrong. And that is simply not true. This thread is a very influential thread on this forum, it's very plausible that people would be excessively motivated and literally take that "Libyan route" narrative literal and start making a land journey across the Sahara desert in search of Europe. Please don't do that. So please, I am never against japa. I just don't want anyone taking inspiration from here to set very high expectations of the place and abandon all they might have here in search of what has a chance of failing them or most importantly, deliberately putting themselves in harm's way. Thank you. |
izzou:Bro, all Nigerian states are trash, from the biggest to the smallest, our options are just to pick outsiders. I'm supporting Peter Obi, not because he's a saint but because he's the best option to shake the national political system and wrest power from these old corrupt entities. We cannot continue to recycle the same people within the same system. If sowore was more popular than Obi, I would camp with him. Peter is undoubtedly the very best of the rest. Atiku is a thief that should go and enjoy his stolen wealth in peace. Tinubu is a thief, not only that he is an active participant of a government that has failed us. Do you think tinubu would do any different from buhari? Are both of them not one and the same with equal stake in the party and it's entire structure? Why would we want to continue with these people? |
Ibime:Oga ibims, me and you betrayed our southern brethren in the last election in the spirit of "national unity and development". They failed all of us collectively. Me must look elsewhere. |
Skimpledawg:Did the Yorubas not also have a split vote between PDP and APC? Is fayose and the likes part of the tinubu machinery? |
izzou:Sometimes, you speak like you're not igbo. Abi na hausa man name you izuchukwu? |
Skimpledawg:Not only alaba, even markets in sabon gari and some in Jos and Kaduna. Igbos dominate most of these markets. I keep telling people that the sensitization now is more than has ever been. The southern political juggernaut has awaken. |
popizaino:So he should be mute abi?? Na so we take deciwve ourselves with buhari say the man no dey talk too much, say na action man him be. Say he no need talk too much, people go fall in line. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. If you want another person that will just keep shouting "e mi lokan" it's my turn it's my turn, instead of someone apt in communicating his ideals and vision for the country, na you know. For your viewing pleasure. https://twitter.com/Chude__/status/1492101695924539414?t=4QngdFlHjZmR0psm-i33zw&s=19 |
