Amoto94:Fine, I apologize for calling you a liar. However I hope you will have the gall to rescind some of your position on Islamic fundamentalism and criticize the radicals amongst you. I want you to most importantly acknowledge that pedophilia is bad. Many moslems engage in it because the prophet engaged in it. Proclaim it out boldly that Mohammed was wrong in marrying and sexing a 9 year old Aisha. Setting a dangerous precedence for millions of people. |
Ibime:In the US, is it the president's power or congress to sanction businesses? |
Oya Roman. Prove that you love the club. Prove that you didn't buy Chelsea just for sportswashing. You've always said it was never about Money. There is now a chance for you to sell the club without benefitting. Can you now prove your love the club and sell off to a better owner?? We watch. |
Kloppo:Leave that one. He's obsessed with anti-western propaganda. |
larride:No, but it's today Putin decided to invade and murder millions of innocent civilians in another country. When UK accepted Abrahmovic, Putin was still relatively new to power, nobody could have predicted he will outlast Stalin as the leader of Russia and become Stalin 2.0. since the polonium poisoning of Russians in UK and imprisonment of alexi Navalny in Russia, the UK decided to do more to curb the influence of Putin. Better late than never. Again, it's logical to go after enablers of a tyrant to bring him down. If Tinubu, Ahmed lawan, osinbajo, Ali modu sheriff and other powerful stakeholders united in opposing buhari, he would be out of power. no leader leads alone. Tightening the noose around his powerful enablers is essential in firming up pressure against Putin. This is not a beef against roman in particular. |
Amoto94:What does this even mean?? In a world of globalism (which is a good thing), how does this work? Do you think you don't need natural imports from other countries? We supposed to be advocating for better cooperation not isolation. |
dostr4:This is my most immediate concern. There is no way our players and every single person in that club will not be rattled by this. This is a very heavy distraction. It's almost like they love to time these news, right on the days we have matches. Our players might not be in the right headspace. |
Kloppo:The funny thing is that all these people supporting China and Russia are not pointing out how these countries sanctions and punishes their own billionaires. Jackma, china's richest man has been in hiding for a long time now because china is targeting him aggressively. They are breaking apart Alibaba and his other companies because he dared to criticize them abroad. Not to talk of berozky who roman is alleged to have murdered on Putin's behalf. These people won't see how terrible the governments of these countries are EVEN to their own citizens. Nonsense. |
larride:Perhaps if I was an enabler of my corrupt dictatorial president, and I was one of the very few who partook in the plundering of my country's resources, subjecting my own citizens to poverty and lack of good governance, I would understand. I understand why a supporter of a thieving crony like tinubu will be distressed by these kind of news. You just love criminal billionaires, don't you? |
Havertz10:So what do you think the sanctions are for?? Is it only Abrahmovic that was sanctioned. I don't deal in conspiracy theories. The UK government is saying they are sanctioning Roman because of his close links to the Kremlin. I feel that they are going too far {because it's my club} but they may be well within their right to and perhaps even justified. I just hope they really do consider the workers and the fans here. |
NinjaXmetahuman:I have always tried to place the distinction between Roman and Chelsea. Sanctioning Roman could be done without effectively bankrupting the club. |
seankafor:At least my friends are not cyber criminals who defraud innocent victims. ![]() |
Chelsea megastore closed. Ending stadium tours. I'm not gonna lie, I'm really confused by the scope of these sanctions. It's understandable to maybe stop the sale and prevent Roman from earning huge payout, but to then cripple the club's financial structure entirely makes no sense. Do the government want the club to go bankrupt? Entire workers to be layed off? Are they not shooting themselves in the foot? |
Ibime:Ibime can you explain the full ramifications of a sanction? Legally, do you know how it works?? I'm seeing them stopping ticket sales, does this mean, Chelsea are now fully restricted from earning any sort of income? What about player contracts? Can players renew their contracts? Are players with expired contracts going to leave? How exactly does this work? |
Actman05:Link to this please. |
NinjaXmetahuman:It's not a stupid decision. It's logical that governments tighten the noose around Putin's enablers. These are effective tools to ramp up pressure on his regime. It's just a pity that we {Chelsea} have been caught up in this quagmire. |
PSG's president and director throwing a tantrum after yesterday's match.

E go too make sense if Messi and Ronaldo comot for round of 16. Shebi they say it's this dodo keeper that carry jorginho to Euros. ![]() |
dostr4:Funny enough, I actually see him as a raumdeuter like muller. A player that attacks spaces, but it is highly fallacious to say havertz will win the balondor. That can only be the product of a hen's brain. |
swiz123:For attackers, stats is all that matters. Midfielders, defenders, subjectively so. An attacker can only be judged by his goals and assists. Again, if not by stats for attackers, especially "generational talents", what do we use? How do you convince me that one is a generational talent? What maps them out separately from others? |
swiz123:First of all, how does someone with only 3 career champions league goals in almost 30 appearances be regarded as a big game player?? Are there any fixtures bigger than the champions league? Secondly, Havertz has scored a total of 8 goals this season. Half of them against Burnley. I don't know when Burnley became a big game. Apart from that, does someone with 8 goals in 33 appearances this season look like a big game player? The guy MIGHT have potential. But there is no distinction between him and how lingard, chamberlain or Walcott looked in their heyday. How many big games has he scored in? Torres is regarded as a flop even though he scored some crucial goals. He just never had the consistent streak expected of him. In havertz 2 seasons with us, he's averaging 1 goal in 4 matches. That's very pitiful. Again, how do we know generational talents?? Origi has scored very vital goals for Liverpool, does he qualify? |
Havertz10:Oshey talent spotter, can you give us visible reasons, metrics and indices to which we should use to know the "generational talents"? If Kingsley coman and nabry, or foden are not generational talents, who else is and how do we assess them? |
Havertz10:Origi has a champions league medal. I don't hear the noise about him. Joe Gomez has a champions league medal, no noise, Kingsley coman nko with his treble? Is anybody shouting, balondor winner? Or generational fraudster? |
hensben:What the hell is wrong with you people? On what grounds can this claim ever be made?? How would you set such a high ceiling for a player that has done absolutely NOTHING of note in his career? What are the markers for this outlandish claims? Next, when this doesn't happen, you guys would start scapegoating all and sundry, from teammates, to coaches, to board members to fans and even the owner. This whole havertz ordeal just reminds me of the Torres quagmire. Those days on this very thread, there is nobody Torres fans did not blame for Torres failing to perform and get going. From Drogba being blamed for not "grooming" him well to lampard being blamed for being "stingy" to coaches being blamed for not playing to his strengths. Sound familiar already?? You havertz dick suckers first started blaming tuchel earlier in the season. Havertz10 was saying all sorts of rubbish about tuchel, this asides from the Mount hatred because he was the direct competitor to havertz position, now it's Lukaku blaming. How on earth with a straight face would you say havertz will win the balondor?? Imagine such an outlandish claim. You once made that claim about hazard, even though hazard had actually achieved some personal milestones which this fraud hasn't even smelt yet. How did that go for hazard eventually? Balondor make him first go learn to blow balloon. You didn't even talk about foden, vinicius or pedri or even pulisic who is actually looking more promising and building up his stat better. Na havertz. Oga, dey smoke weed wey you use your hand buy. |
Ibime:I don't even think it's an issue of socialism or capitalism. Someone who has proclaimed support for Putin and his dictatorship has no business being a socialist. That's outright fascism. The craving for a "strong" leader, capable of facing up to foreign powers, Collaboration be damned. People like that prop up tyrants. Tyrants that have no checks and balances. Finland, Norway, Switzerland etc. These are democratic socialists countries. You don't see autocrats in them. Havertz10 has no business calling himself a socialist. |
Havertz10:This is why I said you know nothing about foreign policy. You've just let yourself be brainwashed by anti-western propaganda just like you fell for the havertz fraudulent propaganda machine. Selling a frail dud as a generational talent. ![]() Please, I beg you to click this link and see for yourself the sheer scale of the atrocities and massacre of the Soviet union. American foreign mishaps hasn't even claimed half of the victims of the Soviet union. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_massacres_in_the_Soviet_Union We should all be glad that America won the cold war, else I can't imagine the global outlook under a Stalin or a Putin. The reason people even know about American atrocities is because of their own declassification policies. one where subsequent governments approve the exposure of sensitive information to the public. It's the highest form of transparency and accountability. Unlike many of the Soviet union atrocities that only became public knowledge after the fall of the Soviet union. Till today, the Chinese government refuses to acknowledge its own massacre of it's citizens in tianamen square, 40 years after the event. Again, America learns from it's mistakes. Same can't be said for others.

raumdeuter:Any parent who let's his child take hormone blockers should be imprisoned for child abuse and that child be taken away from them. These are the extremities of liberalism. A child is certainly not old enough to know or decide if they are or not comfortable enough with their gender. |
[quote author=popizaino post=110862717]So Didier Drogba does not only know the back of the net, he also knows to shoot behind the Arc. .............stephen curry no do pass this ooooh too like this guy. Legend forever. |
raumdeuter:It should be inconceivable in the first place. Sports centers around biology. Women fought for the division\creation of their own gender so as to compete fairly. Trans women being allowed to compete in men's sports defeats that purpose. |
DissTroy:But I don't see folks like you highlight the positive impacts of America on the globe too. You only focus on the extremities. America has been a force for good much more than bad. I'm not absolving them of their sins but they represent better values than any other nation. |
It cannot be overemphasized, America is a bastion if democracy, it's founders envisioned and pioneered a system of democracy never seen before. One upon which each citizen has a say over who rules them. Prior to that, what we had was repressive monarchies all around the world. America is the founder of the best collaborative political body in the world, called the United nations, a successor of the league of nations. Another brainchild of the Us government. These bodies are aimed at fostering nonviolent diplomatic approaches to global affairs and by and large have been very successful at doing this. Comparative to history, we are now living in one of the most peaceful times ever in history. Peace that has led to the longest stretch of global economic development with so many concurrent growth taking place in more places than ever before. American foreign policy in the last 20 years have been geared towards efforts at stymieing Islamic terrorism. A disaster that has reared its ugly head in the face of an ever changing liberal world. We can see the rise of bokoharam in our country not as a consequence of regional politics but a religious ideological one. I certainly support any effort made to end that menace. America is not perfect, but them and their like minded allies are certainly the best we've got. Most of these detractors have unfortunately fallen prey to large scale Infowars taking place on the internet. One where certain countries sanction troll farms. Where people's day jobs is to create multiple accounts, all following prominent accounts and influencing algorithms to highlight, amplify and push same narratives and talking points. Watch out for these |
DissTroy:So which is better? Is Russian authoritarianism or Chinese communism better than western democracy?? Given the choice of countries, which Will you choose to go to between Russia, China, North Korea, and united states'and it's democratic Allies? |
