E be like Antonio's goals don finish for the season.

Wetin that guy still dey do for my FPL team I know no.
It's a marvel how he's still the highest scoring striker in the game. Goes to show you how badly all the strikers are performing (or not) this season.

be in awe of a local champion, we cfc fans are in awe our europe and world conquering coach, sir tuchel uefa consistency.
You guys should drop this wack argument abeg.

There is no bigger fan of Mourinho than myself. Just 3 years ago, I strongly believed that Mourinho was better than Guardiola seeing the strength of the teams he used to achieve success. Mourinho never lost a home game in 10 years. He took underdogs like Porto and inter to UCL triumphs.
He basically ran away with the leagues in his first try in the EPL when other teams were the dominant teams then, one just winning the invincible.

Guardiola on the other hand has managed at the biggest and best clubs only, with the best players and resources available to him, more than any other coach ever before. BUT, he has utilized them perfectly. When you dominate 3 top leagues, it's a pattern.
I was convinced that Guardiola would not repeat what Mourinho did when he first came to EPL, dominate the league and run away with it. But he has done that, for even a longer and sustainable period while implementing a better system of football between the two.

Give honor when due.
We've always said that players like Messi, muller or teams like the dominant Barca Bayern sides would not dominate the EPL as much as they did their leagues when they were always getting above 90 points in their league.
That playing midtable teams like westham, Leicester, wolves, Everton or even tough lower level teams like Leeds, Brighton, crystal palace not to talk of the competitive top 6 teams meant surely dropping points on a fortnight basis. That it would be impossible to have stretches of winning runs against these teams stacked with quality players and coaches. And here we are, the man has done this 4 straight seasons.

When people mock him for not winning the champions league, it's just laughable and disingenuous. The man was 90 minutes away from Winning it for fuxks sake. grin cheesy This is after completing a domestic treble.
Let's give honor when due.
The man has made the most of the resources given to him. Not many can put themselves in a position to earn that not to talk of utilizing it perfectly.

Mourinho my own man has literally fallen off a cliff.
He has failed in his last 2 challenges while Guardiola only keeps gaining momententum.
Guardiola is undoubtedly the best modern manager and any team in the world would rush to have him. Let's tell ourselves the Truth.

Tuchel on title race: "Right now the focus has to be realistic, we are in a race for the top four."
Mancity's form is just so bullish. They have the highest point total in the top 5 European leagues. Even leagues we call farmers league. None have accumulated these number of points.
Truly, I'm in awe as to how Guardiola has maintained this high level of consistency for years.

Havertz10:
I can't believe that someone is asking which is bigger between superbowl and champions league final

America owns main stream media, they will always hype their events like the greatest thing since slice bread, that's why I don't blame china for blocking out their media, they will override and americanize your culture and present it in a format that suits whichever narrative they want to popularize to the global community , see Netflix and Disney
In movies, tv shows and documentaries, America saves the world from aliens, they are the heroes for everything

Back to the topic, champions league final averages 400m spectators and those are conservative estimates, if we factor viewing centers in Africa and most regions, I will say that it's about 800m ~1 billion
Superbowl averages 100m but somehow you can't see that it's beneath the champions league when it comes to reach because main stream media presents it that way
Puts into perspective every news story that you read, someone is actively trying to dictate your understanding of things
This post is an unnecessary over-demonization of America. It's like you just irrationally hate all aspects of the country.

It makes sense that the two events are compared because they are the 2 biggest sports in the whole world. their finals are the highest watched sporting event in the world. Obviously football is bigger but the NFL is next on the list.
At the height of British colonialism, cricket was once the biggest sporting event in the world.

Secondly, the British media is the most influential in the world with the BBC alone active in more than 80 countries around the world. They are the biggest media corporation in the world. Bigger than CNN, SKY and FOX news combined.

Yes American culture permates throughout the globe because they offer the relatively best freedom of lifestyle and quality of life than many other countries with the English language also being a most defining factor of their wide reach.
No need to demonize america here. It's uncalled for in relation to the topic at hand.

This is Havertz at 22, besting Messi when he was same age. Lmao!
I have exposed this to be false before.
These numbers are deceiving. They are including even academy goals and assists and comparing it to Messi's first team goals with Barca.
Imagine including under17 stats to deceive people.
You havertz fan boys should stop this nonsense.
I won't be surprised if these are the numbers our foolish scouts saw and and forced us to pay 80 million for.

Why must we continue to slice and dice our players. They all play for the same badge, let's just praise them all and continue to hope for the best.
Enough with all the agenda's abeg.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by donjazet(m): 7:39pm On Feb 12, 2022
Our attacking is always slow and sluggish. Our players slow the ball down too much. Instead of playing quick vertical passes, they would just be sluggishly passing the ball sideways giving opponents enough time to always regroup.
