post=108710687: Good to see you guys know the kinda good man you've got as a President that you can even vouch for him. Now, that is integrity at it's peak. That is one of the things dad will be remembered for in this nation for many many years to come. Let us give you more insight........ It is a always good and refreshing to see that we have a President who does not intervene in the rule of law.
From Corruption, down to politics, Our darling Daddy always allow the rule of law to take charge... Memory lane........ Elections In Nigeria now, There is no need to fear. Why? Because the will of Nigerians will not be subverted. Never! A President once told us in this country that the coming polls would be do or die. Not with President Buhari. Fair is fair. No foul play. Under his watch, his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa(now twice), Oyo State, Edo State, Zamfara state and Anambra states. At the last Council of States meeting, Gov Willie Obiano publicly registered his appreciation to President Buhari, for the level playing ground he made available during the election in his state. With do or die apostles, and a certain political party in power, such would never happen. Not with their garrison mentality. All states are territories that must be conquered, willy-nilly.
APC has won gubernatorial positions under Buhari in Kogi, Ondo and Edo states, (Now losing same Edo again) The victories were fair and square. The party lost in Bayelsa (twice), Zamfara, Oyo, Anambra etc. This President would never manipulate victory for anyone, not even his own party. And you ask us not to trust him? We will, and no mistake.
God bless our darling Daddy President Muhammadu Buhari. God bless Nigeria. Lol Just 3 mins ago sir! All of us @ love you too..... Let's share the love around! Stay blessed Chairman! That is one of the things dad will be remembered for in this nation for many many years to come. Let us read from the comment of one of the sane, honest and hardworking Nairalander we have below... The problem with people like you is that, in your quest to negate the critics of this administration, you end up being the polar opposite. Never in the past 5 years have I heard you say one bad thing about this administration. It's always good to be objective in order to maintain a slight sense of decency and dignity. For instance, this administration has done so well in the transportation sector, constructing viable rail lines and acquiring good train. The Npower program has also helped some youths but I'm personally against this welfare program. Now on the flip side, this administration has utterly failed on security of the lives and property of it's citizens. People got rid of pdp because we did genuinely believe that a former military general has what it takes to curb insecurity in the country. Secondly, disastrous fiscal policy, you can see the confectionary rise in inflation caused by terrible fiscal and monetary policy. The tremendous growth of our debt. This administration is hellbent on borrowing more than we can pay. We are already selling off national assets to pay off our old debt, while simultaneously borrowing new ones. It's terrible. Try and be objective in your analysis. |

Does anybody agree with this?? Current premier league best 11? Henderson over kante and jorginho? Laporte over VVD? Funny how none of the top 4 teams have a performing striker.

BikeMan: Can Jorginho do it alone? Of course not. That's the point I've been making all along. No player can do it alone. Players complement themselves. They just need to be consistent enough in playing their own role and he does just that. As our possession and chance creation numbers show. See also below his role as highlighted by our club.

Honestly, I don't blame senator munchin, he is actually wielding his power the way his constituents want. He is from a very deep red state. Many of whom do not like Biden and also depend on coal industry.
I blame the democrats in places like maine, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania that have more Democrats than republicans but keep sending republican senators.
A part of me actually admires munchin's balls. I wish more senators, FROM BOTH SIDES, will abandon this "mass Caucasus" idea and be voting independently. I'm sure there are liberal republicans and conservative democrats. But this is never reflected in Thier votes, because"every body must tow party line".
You guys should think about this, if there were more independent senators {which was how it was designed to be}, voting according to their individual ideals. We'll see a truly balanced senate. |

BikeMan: It had nothing to do with Jorginho. Did Jorginho play the second half?
It was because we played Chalobah as a midfielder, it took only Saul's introduction to do that. Ohh okay, so chalobah was ineffective in the middle. So then you agree with me that the great kante can't do it alone. The partnership of kante and jorginho is a brilliant one. We need both to be fit and kicking in no time. |

User09: Inadequate DM that didnt even play. Every mishap in the team must be viewed through Jorginho. Didnt hear any complaints when we won the Champions league..
The problem has never been the formation, dont know what u guys are watching. You can always attack with 5 atb; Infact, any system can be attacking. Football is more about managing space in offensive and defensive phases. The structure around it is what counts
Asides todays game we've been underperforming our xG. We have been creating real chances; well if you ignore Popizaino's obsession for Hollywood passes.
TT system works and is taking optimal advantage of the players at his disposal. Imagine Alonso playing LB today or Reece being even more -ve at RB. All his major players are out and even getting reduced. Jorgiboy just tested +ve. We had a postponement request rejected. We've just been really unlucky.
The onus is on the available players to step up. At least I felt some glimmer of hope with Saul today At this point, I'm tired arguing anything jorginho. Even as everyone saw how we lacked control of the game in the middle. On the side, I was actually glad jorginho got rested. He's at a risk of burnout at this stage. He badly needed the rest. |

A001: This is a thoughtful response. I wonder why a brilliant poster like Donjazet can't see that his ideas are highly unrealistic and detrimental to the local cultures and the principle of egalitarianism and self-determination.
I like your closing paragraph especially. Diversity makes the world rich and beautiful. Then dies this mean, that life was very boring for our individual tribes before the advent of multiculturalism?? What does boring even mean? Can we really measure what boring means?? I really wanted to respond to that post. So many points made, sentimentally ridden but logical. I would not get into it now till maybe later. I want to enjoy my match. |

AnfieldFan: What you're advocating for won't be solved with the eradication of every language on Earth bar one.. No matter your proficiency in English Language, an average Caucasian family would be uncomfortable with the thought of you marrying their daughter.. We are all humans, but each human is shaped distinctly from social experiences throughout his/her lifetime...It is because of these distinct experiences that we can't be one.. Inherent traits have predisposed us to certain behaviors of which most humans can't help but manifest.. Humans are greedy, but it doesn't mean we can't be selfless.. Instead of advocating for the eradication of things that make us unique, you should be advocating for pragmatism in dealing with our cultural practices and tolerance/appreciation while understanding that our differences ultimately push us or make us strive to achieve more... I can appreciate a Muslim, Christian, Traditional worshipper, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist or a Yoruba, Urhobo, Esan Man because I appreciate their different differences...
Besides, the world would be very boring and monotonous if everything and everyone becomes Homogeneous... Same sense of humor, material, dressing, dancing, entertainment etc... Variety is the spice of life... I want to watch match. Might address this later. |

The clothes ancient Eastern Celts wore years ago aren't what the wear now.amy ancient tribes and people all over the world do not dress the way they did 500 years ago...
Culture will generally ease up and evolve to more ideal practices with time(specifically matching what's ideal in present time), so you trying to equate negative practices in the present day doesn't really work ...My point is, whether Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Yoruba, Igbo,Efik, Spanish, Mexican, culture and traditions shouldn't be despised just for being culture and traditions, we can make them beautiful and work for us... I really would like us to on to move on from this cultural fashion argument. It's only but a small microcosm of my entire arguments. I'm just going to randomly assume you're an Idoma man from ebonyi state. You speak a different language from me. Before you marry your wife, you have to be whipped seriously on the back. I'm an igbo man, before I marry I have to literally buy my wife from her people. She becomes my property. If her father dies, she cannot legally inherit his properties. If I wanted to marry your sister who is from a different tribe but maybe in the same state, your people and my people would frown upon it. Isn't all these preposterous Wouldn't the world be a better place if we just shed all these differences, abandon all these useless practices and barriers and just get to be you know, HUMANS. Same Human beings with the same reproductive system, and digestive system and capacity to think afar and not limit ourselves within the bubble and constraints of our immediate surroundings? |

Astrid4: Africa’s proximity to European and Turkish manufacturing facilities makes it an increasingly appealing sourcing partner for several reasons, not least the lower carbon footprint of transportation to both mills and consumers in those areas. Increasing manufacturing capacity within Africa will provide added value to the organic cotton fiber produced on the continent (rather than it being exported in raw form) Listen blud, no need for this long shalaye, you initially quoted me saying you do agree with a particular point of mine pertaining to our cultural fashion. There is no need for the back and forth between both of us. It all boils down to this simple question. The "traditional clothes" that we wear today to distinguish our tribes, are they indeed our traditional attires? |
