COVID-19: Abia is God’s Own state

Have you ever said “we are God’s people and Coronavirus and other killer diseases will not affect us in Jesus name?"

If yes, you said exactly what Governor Ikpeazu said in that interview: “Abia is the only state in the Bible and God will protect us”.

Does that mean he didn’t practically prepare to protect his people by taking measures to prevent the outbreak of the disease in our state and even plan the protocols in the unlikely case it does happen?

The answer is NO! In that interview, he highlighted what needs to be done, the protocols for prevention and containment.

The only difference is that we are not panicking but rather preparing to deal with any situation that confronts and also relying on God to help us as usual.

Let’s move to other issues. Abia remains God’s own state and we are hopeful God will protect us from Coronavirus even as we continue to sanitise our environment, sensitize our people and also ready our containment plan as well as deploy necessary materials to protect our people.

I can boldly state that no state in Nigeria today is as prepared as Ikpeazu’s Abia but we continue to pray that God answers our prayer and protects every Abian and resident from the dreadful Coronavirus.

"Laborare est orare" means to work is to pray...Abia has in the past been protected by God even when we prepared to protect our people. We will continue to pray for God’s protection even while we work hard to ensure our people are protected.

In addition, Abia as one of the few non-infected states with 3 isolation centers already in place and over 20,000 bottles of 100ml and 50,000 units of 5ml of hand sanitizers made available to schools, markets, churches, offices and such other institutions, with more being provided as the days go by, over 50,000 face masks procured already, health workers trained to handle possible outbreak and currently sourcing for test kits from local and international markets cannot be said to be unprepared.

A state that has asked all primary and secondary schools to conclude exams and vacate by March 30, 2020, provided hand washing buckets with taps for schools, ordered the indefinite postponement of Abia State University (ABSU) convocation earlier slated for March 27, 2020 despite enormous resources, efforts and the monumental inconveniences it is going to cause all stakeholders including high ranking invited guests, and also ordered the immediate closure of all state-run tertiary institutions from Saturday, March 21, with N10m grant availed each of such institutions for online tutorials to their students, a COVID-19 committee in place which is studying the application of hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin and other options including the yet to be licensed indigenous intervention of Prof. Ezeibe, CANNOT BE SAID TO BE UNPREPARED!

What is more? Today, we are deploying our Tele-Health infrastructure to track and guide all expatriates as well as recent returnees into Abia. Where else are all these steps being taken if not Abia?

But our Governor says, and rightly so, that Corona virus is not a death sentence and is certainly NOT ABOVE God's mercy!!!

From the foregoing, it is an incontrovertible fact that Abia is both prepared against the deadly Corona virus and insists that ABIA IS GOD'S OWN STATE.

The PDP Candidate for Bende house of Representatives in 2019 general election, Dr Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso has commended the people of Bende Federal Constituency for their continuous support for him, PDP and Dr Okezie Ikpeazu led Administration in the State.

Dr Chima who made the commendation during the reception organized in his honor by a Non-Governmental Organization; De-Great Apostle of Bende, held at Ama Amuhie Eluama village square Uzuakọli in Bende Local Government Area, described peace as a variable tool in achieving success in life and enjoined them to desist from politics of bitterness and rancor but rather, they should keep on praying for our leaders despite our political differences. "Let all we do and think about henceforth be for the progress of Bende" was part of his admonition to those that gathered to receive him. He said they intercede that God should give those leading us at the moment the wisdom and insight to lead and bring out the good of our land and for the overall growth and progress of Bende.
He further enjoined them to remain steadfast in PDP and eulogized De-Great Apostle of Bende for the honor done him while praying God to reward them.

Earlier in his speech the coordinator of De-Great Apostle of Bende, Mr.Chukwuemeka Ogbonnaya disclosed that the reception is in recognition of his patience and philanthropic gesture to the people and wished him well in his political endeavors.

Let's look into the magic that paints our Judiciary black if allow to stand :

(1) Votes allocated to APC are higher than INEC certified Permant Voters Cards(PVC) Collected .

●Note: INEC produced certified copies of Voters registration and PVC collected in 388 polling units.

● Total Registered voters is 254,230

●Total PVC collected is 201,883

●Total Votes cast from 388 PUs is about 215,491 ( 13,199 above PVC collected).

● Some Polling Units, they allocated votes above the total Registered Voters!
Unheard anywhere and unintelligent arithmetics they put up to smear the image of the Supreme Court.

●Example:

(a) In 1. NO. 69 is Eziama/Okpala ( Umuogba Village Square, Eziama.) 008.

Here, Registered VOTERS : 492 .

APC scored :819.

VOTES; PDP 7.

Here, APC unbelievably scored more than the number of the registered voters.

2. NO 377 is Umuozu (Umuchoko Town Hall ) 006 with Registered VOTERS at 367

APC SCORED 367;

PDP SCORED 4.

Again, above registered number of voters.

3. NO. 384 is Umunkwo ( Community Primary School Umuopara ) 006 :
Registered VOTERS : 526

APC SCORED 526;

It is obvious that they misled the noble Supreme Court !

Oya, look at the submission of the Police Officer Hope Uzodinma relied on to deceive the court :

Verbatim :

"In Exhibit NNN1 to NNN18, (subpoena) I was asked to produce 388 Forms EC8As retrieved by the police officers. I have some of the FORMS. I dont have 388 FORMS. The total number I brought is 368 and I cannot lay hands on 20 FORMS. I am surprised that the number of forms tendered are not up to the number I told the Honourable Tribunal. I cannot know whether there are mutilations or tampering in Exhibit PPP1 to PPP366."

Even the police could not produce 388 PU results they initially told the court they have .

Just tell me why the Supreme Court will not reverse this judgement to save itself and restore Confidence in that Institution of Trust ?

Calculations generated and allocated to self by APC in 388 PUs in Imo State can only be allowed in a Court where Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole mni is the Justice .

I APPEAL TO NOBLE JUSTICES OF THE SUPREME COURT TO SAVE THE IMAGE OF THE JUDICIARY AND REVERSE ITS JUDGMENT ON IMO State.

The issue here is not whether the Supreme Court can over rule itself or not...The allegation here is that of "fraud" because what was allegedly delivered (read out of judgment) is not now on the hardcopy of the judgment subsequently given to the parties.

This sad development may not be totally unexpected given the public outcry and uproar, as well as, analysis on the incongruity of the gap between accredited voters and actual scores now allocated by the judgment.
In this view, yes there is a possibility of the review of the judgement.

So we challenge the record of the SC. That is the record of 14th from hardcopy judgment. By law, a person challenging the record (hardcopy judgment) must swear to an affidavit. Obviously to be attached as Exhibits to the affidavit is/are what the applicant says is the correct record (audio or whatever of pronouncement of 14th Jan)

The record of the judgment (hardcopy) is different from reality of 14th and with this the subsequent record of the Supreme Court is a product of fraud and manipulation and should be nullified and set aside.
