I used it. It doesn't really count though. So since my date of birth was on my WAEC result, I was fine.

I don't know exactly how you would go about it. But I'm sure I've heard of people that ignored the invite and they kept getting invites. The invitation is automated, I suppose. I will suggest you ignore it at least till you get your school certificate (and commence NYSC), then reapply if they haven't been sending you invites before then.

Please guys I need your advice I am yet to go for my Nysc and just got an invite for the text scheduled next week. Still waiting for my Statement of result which hopefully would be out by next month. I don't know what to do right now please advice me.

1. The exam is not done in Nigeria. Many sit for it in Ghana.
2. You will have to register on the CFA website for an examination. Http://www.cfainstitute.org

So there's this post somewhere on this thread about (some departments in) Advisory unit accepting only people that have excellent O' Level results (A's all through and all). It is wrong. My best result in O' Level was a C4, and I was able to complete the recruitment process.
My point is, as long as you meet the basic requirements for the unit/department you want to get into, you will be fine.
I'm saying this because I was a little put off by that post, I hope others won't be.

If you can find time, there are tutorial centres. Otherwise, the videos and various notes should be fine. I have Schweser Notes, I'll try to put it up on Dropbox and post a link.

I'm writing Level 1 in June. Work is making it difficult for me to study as effectively as I usually do for professional exams.

Any study group I could join? Anyone in Lagos also writing L1 in June? we could hook-up.

About the study materials, is there anyone that wrote L1 in 2014 that could share other study materials (apart from the Wiley packs)? Videos, will be very helpful.

Get Schweser Notes then, it's a summary of the curriculum. Get a recent one though, 2014 or 2015. A lot has changed since 2007 lol.

Lol. No. If you're serious about it, register for the examination and you'll get the appropriate study material.

Yeah it is. I applied twice during nysc. Not even an acknowledgement. Applied again after nysc and bam. Ive gone all the way to partner interview. Just waiting to hear if I have an offer or not

Have minimum of 5Cs in O' Levels in one sitting, graduate with 2:1, start NYSC then you can apply to any Big 4 firm of your choice.

Lol. 30mins for each. I'm not sure how many questions I did sef, but the time is enough to complete all questions if you know what you're doing. I don't have the result yet.
