Yup. Went for the interview at their office, funsho williams avenue, I was behaving at first, being uptight and all, when they just told me it's marketing, I didn't want my transport fare to waste, so I joked with the lady doing the interview, had my fun. I was later told to come and start training like the following week or so...but I wasn't interested.
P.S. I thought I was applying for Financial Advisor too.

Assessment center: U are xpected to be on a suit. Guyz shld wear 9ce hair cut, a tie n look well shaved. Girls can wear a skirt/trouz suit. My advice is that u wear a plain shirt and dnt dres Color blokin, color riotin or coat of many colors. This stage involves three exercises (critical reasonin, group assessment n one-on-one exercise). If u do not perform wel in one part of these exercises, dnt get discouraged jst try ur best to do beta in oda exercises to boost ur performance cuz its d cumulative of d 3 exercises that wil b used to conclude weda u scaled thru d a.c stage n can proceed to d p.i stage. Please ask d instructor questions if u are nt clear on any instruction.
@Critical reasonin: Here, u wil b given 70 questions in form f shapes. Each ques has a shape pattern n u wil b xpected to carefuli study, analyse n understand d pattern for u to know d particular shape dat wil continue/complement d pattern. U can study ur gmat shapes jst to gve u an insight of how to understand shapes pattern but d questions I saw, dnt tink dey are gmat (my opinion doh)
@Group assessment: here, u n ur grp membaz wil b given a puzzle to solve. It can be in a format where u wil b given 7 different names of individuals, 7 diff types of hobby, 7 diff types of occupation, 7 diff phone types, 7 diff car types, 7 diff pet types n 7 diff food types, then u n ur grp membaz wil be xpected to find correctly each individual’s hobby, occupation, phone type, car type, pet type n food type. Dis, u n ur grp members wil b required to do widin 20 mins. The idea f dis xercise is jst to test ur ability to contribute to team wrk n ur ability to b productive especially under pressure so it is nt a must ur grp gets all d ansas but get to a reasonable extent (my opinion doh). So please my advice is that u do not quarrel wit ur grp membaz, jst contribute ur own quota. Please make sure u are talking n nt mute cuz u wil b in frnt f four observers dat wil b scoring d performance f each individual in the grp. Also, pls wen talking, dnt talk for talkin sake or to talk dwn ur grp membaz, make sure u make a positive n meaningful contribution. Anoda advice I wld gve is dat ur grp shld av grp leader n a time keeper that wil hlp ur grp to be time conscious cuz a member f ur grp on behlf f d entire grp wil av to present to d observers d result ur grp had so far under dat same 20 mins. Again, pls grp memebaz shldnt drag for d position f time kipa, grp leader or hu to present d result bfor d obsevers (it dsnt min grp membaz shld shy away frm such responsibilities/positions).
Dnt get scared f dis exercise cuz u wil b given clues in form f cards on how to solve d puzzle. In my grp, we were eight persons. We were gven general clues (cards) n personal clues (cards). The rule was that d general clues (cards) cld b passed round n shown to any grp memba but d personal clues (cards) cannot be passed to anoda grp memba to see but u can read out wat is contained on the personal card for ur grp membas to hear so as to enable u all solve d puzzle. You wil b given a plain sheet f paper (A4 paper) for u to write on and ur question paper that u are nt supposed to write on else u can b disqualified.
@One-on-one exercise: here, only u wil face d four observers again. It can last up to 15 mins or more so be prepared cuz u wil ansa ques abt ur c.v n dat ur form u summited wit ur credentials. So be careful wit evry detail u put down wen fillin d form cuz some persons lie wen filin d form. My advice is dat u shld b trutful when ansarin dier ques cuz dey like it wen u r honest cuz honety is even among d kpmg core values. Jst knw dat for evry word on dat form, u might to be asked to xplain further if possible in a lay man’s language. Also wen ansarin dier questions try to talk abt ur achievements. Jst be relaxed, bold n audible (but nt over confident) wen u talk n always smile at dem yle talkin even douh dey ask u ques dat u n fil is anoyin cuz dose ques cld b asked to test ur temperament. Also make sure rid about ur school projct wrk n b current on wat is happenin in d society cuz dey asked me ques on ebola virus. God jst fevored me, I was smiling thru out, I cld rememba dem askin me a ques dat “if chevron shld call me, if I wld nt leave kpmg”, I didn’t ansa o, I jst increased my smile….na so Baba God jst take hlp me, I use smile take cover up d mata. U shld also xpect ques like tel us abt ursef ( jst gve a quick sumry of ur c.v n ur family bakgrnd in 2 to 3 mins), define audit, y audit wen u studied anoda discipline, y kpmg, ur skill, ur strength, weaknes etc and u wil also be given d opportunity to ask dem questions.
Partner’s Interview: there aint mch difrence btw dis stage n d one-on-one exercise at d a.c stage. Its jst dat here, u wil b interviewed by one person (a kpmg partner) so u wil av to b more careful. Most ques also came frm dat my form, abt my sch projct, my leadership potentials, tel me abt ursef, my skul grades, y audit, y kmpg e.t.c. In all, I sensed all d questions were jst to knw abt my personality and my ability to handle an auditin profession. Jst pray to God n hope for a 9ce partner (cuz some partner can ask ques to demoralize u….nt my partner doh bt dats wat a frnd f my said she xperienced). Jst b relaxed, confident n audible (bt nt ova confident) like at d a.c stage. Also dunno if dey look out for d door test (d way u open n close d door) bt I didn’t get it well. Also pls take note f how d seat is positioned bfor u sit down…so if u adjst d seat bfor u sit dwn, make sure u re-adjst it wen leavin cuz I 4got to re-adjst mine bt dunno if dey also check for that. Lastly dnt forget to smile n watch ur body language n ur manner f communicatn. I chose my wrds wisely cuz ur partner might read minin to evrytin u say. JST PUT GOD FIRST AND U WIL SUXED…..BEST WISHES.
