The Academic staff union of universities, Lautech chapter itself held a peaceful protest this morning in both Osogbo and Ibadan of Osun and Oyo state respectively to show their greviances towards the poor funding and both visitors of the University.

It is known that the school is still on a 2weeks warning strike which started right when the school is still writing its Rain semester [Second semester] examination of the 16/17 session, which left some 500L students hanging while some had finished their examinations before the strike, the union had to swift into a peaceful protest because both state governors don't seem bothered about the ongoing strike
Meanwhile, the chancellor of the University Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been mute since when the school has been going on and off due to strike..

The ASUU lautech chapter is calling on both state universities to fund lautech and save the school
