Tjluv: yes, Visa processing is done in Abuja only. The premium lounge doesn't influence anything.Thank you very much. But this was the sms alert I received two days after submitting my application:" Visa application Ref. No. IKAB/120912/120049/1 has been dispatched to the British Deputy High Commission on 12/09/2012 for processing.." I know its not yet up to 15days but the wait is killing me and this message keeps me confused. Any enlightenment would be appreciated. |
kingbilly: @ Charles. EPlease when you get the information from VFS can you post it here so we can also benefit from it. Thanks very much. |
Charles. E:Thanks very much for your response. Will just wait patiently until I hear from them. |
Charles. E:Thank you very much Charles. I noticed that after I had posted the question. Really appreciate it. Just by the way,do you think Visas are processed in Lagos because the sms I got from VFS said my application has been forwarded to the British Deputy Commission for processing. I was of the view that processing is done at Abuja only. Thanks. Would be waiting to hear from you and the house. I applied at the Premium Lounge could it be the reason? |

Hello,I submitted my application on the 12th at the Premium Lounge and they told me to check back in 15 days. How come your own is 8 days? Was there a special route you took? Please let me know coz my school resumes on the 26th and I would love to get my Visa before then. |
Hello All, I was wondering if I don't want to use my parents account but a friend of my family is willing to sponsor me,can I use him/her as my Legal Guardian and then use his/her account for evidence of funds at the BHC? I would appreciate any helpful advice on this. I would also love to know what documents I must supply to the BHC when sending my application. Thanks. |
justwise: The last time i checked no Nigerian bank is on the list by UKBA.Justwise,in relation to your above statement, which Nigerian Bank can I use to show evidence of my Maintenance Fee. Thanks. |
justwise: This links will answer all that questions and many more http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/pbs/Tier4migrantguidance.pdfThanks for answering my questions. The links you posted are more than helpful and I believe they will help me with the application process. Thanks once again. |
justwise: What happened to your original WAEC result? I'm not really sure if the BHC accepts photocopy, maybe somebody with personal experience in that regard can help.Okay. Thanks very much. I'll get the info about the waec certificate. And just by the way,I have not collected it yet and I heard the process of collecting it is tedious. If I am to resume in September 2012,when is the earliest I can apply for a visa? Thanks. |
Thanks very much @justwise. Pardon me for asking too many questions.but what do I do if I dont have the Original copy of my WAEC Results and can you tell me the most popular reasons for individuals who are refused UK Study visas. Thanks. |
@justwise I have read most of your post. They were really helpful especially the ones with elly. My question is simple. I have been given a conditional offer to a UK University. I am ready to make payments, however I studied in Ghana and I sent my transcript when applying to the Uk University. The problem is I didn't do Student Resident Permit whilst in Ghana. Would this be a problem for me? If it would be,what do you suggest I do. I will welcome answers from other individuals in the house. Thank you very much. ![]() |
