It's correct. It's only 500 if you are applying from inside the uk.

Oh okay. Thank you very much Chief.

Can you please confirm these are the only other payments required and costs from outside the U.K.:
Visa Application Fee: £1,464
Priority (Optional): £573.

Thank you.

Hello guys,

Great job you guys are doing here. I have a question for recent applicants.

I am about to pay for my IHS and the amount comes up to $840. I thought IHS for settlement Visas are £500. $840 is about £600 oo.

Can someone who has recently applied clarify or I am doing something wrong.

Thank you.
Culture / Re: List Of First Class Kings In Nigeria By ThisTrend by donlexs(m): 8:20am On Mar 17, 2017
Title very misleading after reading the contents. There are more First Class Traditional Rulers in Nigeria. Bayelsa my home state has over 10.
I can help you complete the list with 2:
The Obhehan of Oloibiri (His Royal Majesty, King Adoku Maddocks Ogbogi)
The Amanyanabo of Nembe (His Royal Majesty, King Diete-Spiff).

More research should be done on works or trim the titles accordingly.

Thank you.

My 1 cent.

Just thought this information would be helpful for individuals who want to contact the BHC to know of their application status. You can call this number since the other telephone lines have been disconnected: +23494622200. They receive calls from 10:30am-12:30pm on Mondays and other days from 10:00am-12:00noon. Thanks and I hope its helpful.

Anybody heard about the TB Testing for candidates in Nigeria? I checked the UK BHC Website but didn't see any information about that on Nigeria. I saw for Ghana,South Africa and Zimbabwe. Does it mean Nigerians don't have to bother about this now? Thanks.

I need this info for someone who is planning to apply for his Tier 4 Visa soon. His Passport has a validity of 8 months and his course is for 3 years. He wants to know if they could reject his visa because his passport is not going to be valid throughout the 3 year period. Helpful suggestions please. Thanks.

Hello all, I would love your opinion on this issue. My sister applied for a job advert online in the UK and she got it. They sent her an agreement to fill and send to them but they said she will have to get her work permit and foreign affairs certification herself and they will take care of the flight ticket and 50percent of the visa application fee. I was just wondering how does she go about it. I read online that work permits are provided by the employer. M

Please who knows what the BHC means by 'turn around point'? I called them yesterday and the gentleman I spoke to said my application is still being processed and that before the end of the week I'll get it but when I called today because today makes it my 15 working days,a lady picked and told me that its still being processed. I asked when I should be expecting to get it since its 15 working days already and I even referenced the man I spoke to yesterday but she said its still being processed and that my application hasn't reached a turn around point. Can someone help me clarify what she meant? The wait is killing me and my extension is to the 8th of October. Thanks.

Hello pearls777 the latter part of your post interests me. Does my school have to inform me that my CAS has been used? The question you asked is of interest to me also because I am still waiting for my Visa and didn't get notified by my school that my CAS has been used ooo. Thanks.

Oyibopepper:

Backlog! OMG. One would think the peak/rush period for tier 4 visas was over and they would have finished with most applications by now, meaning no backlog. They really should start considering making their ECOs do overtime!!! They can pay them from the 78K we all paid. Its a lot of money!!!!
Ikr. The wait is really killing me and I expect the BHC to be fast considering how much we pay for applications. I called them this morning and they said my application is still being processed and before the week ends I'll get it so I am hopeful,as for you just chill coz you'll receive a reply today or tomorrow at worse. The holiday yesterday didn't help too. Let's not be too anxious,God will see us all through.

NariJJ: Hi, I submitted my application for a UK tier 4 student visa at the vfs center in Lagos on the 10th of September. It usually takes 15 working days for the application to be processed. I have been tracking mine online and the status for thirteen working days was "your visa application dispatched to the british deputy high commission for processing" but on the 14th day the status became ''your visa application has been forwarded to the british high commission'' which is in Abuja. Does this mean that the descion is to be made in Abuja? And if so do you think my visa would be ready within the next 1 or 2 days for collection? my course also started on the 24th of September and today is 29th. please I'll like to see your replies, thank you. Also has anyone else experienced this?
My situation is quite similar to yours. I submitted however on the 12th and on the 14th got a text saying my application has been forwarded to the British Deputy High Commission. However when I checked the tracking platform,it said its been dispatched to the British High Commission. When I posted a question about this two different messages I was told my a reliable source that that is the normal message they send. So I was rest assured. Just my own opinion on your issue,I think its a problem with their system and the new message was supposed to be updated earlier. I believe you should call and check with the BHC on Monday to know the progress on you application. Hope I helped.

uulove: Hello House,is there any1 who submitted in abuja on the 11th of sept?I know it is just the 14th working day but the wait is killing me.
I applied on the 12th of September at Ikeja but I haven't heard anything from them. I am still waiting patiently. Hopefully you'll get your notification on Monday and me on Tuesday then we will both share our testimonies by God's grace here. The wait is difficult but we all have to try. Safe.

I believe you'll be just fine mayne. I submitted mine on the 12th of September but my school would resume on the 26th and that's before my 15 days time period. So with all the testimonies here I am sitting tight waiting to hear from them but its not a small thing ooo. Honestly.
