The problem was that Obaseki went late to see the godfather of yoruba politics (Tinubu) knowing fully well his state is a Yoruba state and the people has APC at heart.

Poverty caused by corruption, embezzlement of funds and dividend meant for citizens has directly and indirectly contributed to the alarming rise of rape cases in nigeria...An idle mind is the devil workshop i.e if every one is employed or empowerd there will drastic drop of rape in nigeria.therefore,declaring a state of emergency for rape is not only going to solve it alone,they should as well declare state of emergency for corrupt politicians,unemployement,lack of social amenities,security,doom health sector e.t.c.i love nigeria our country.
