Don't be surprised same CIV Morocco helped would later knock Morocco out and eventually win the trophy.
2002 World cup, Brazil sneaked in like this and won the cup.

Brazil topped group C with 9 points in 2002. How did they then sneak into the round of 16? Please make me understand.

Politics / Re: PDP Is A Party Of Stomach Infrastructure, Obi/LP Are The Opposition - Okonkwo by donphilopus: 4:33pm On Jan 03
After the general elections, governorship elections took place in three states November 11th last year and governorship elections will take place in Edo and Ondo States this year. PDP won one state in November, APC won one clearly while SDP arguably won one (believing they'd retrieve their Kogi Yahaya Bello sponsored stolen mandate in court). How many votes did Labour Party garner across the three states? Did they come second in any? How are they then the main opposition party? I'd rather say Labour Party is a quadrennial - if not even an end of the year - party.

I support!

But it should be based on each state's number of house of representatives members.

Lagos with 24 reps will have 24 votes. If you win Lagos, you get 24 electoral college votes

Kano with 20 reps will have 20 votes. If you win Kano you get 20 electoral college votes

Etc etc

Kano has 24 federal constituencies as well.

@ Donphilopus

Bleaching de affect these men brain.

Someone whom I saw boasting in one video that he'd win with a landslide that the runner-up won't have cause to go to court - they're crying blue murder now.

We have people from their place who told us they had the results sheet already, that we should not bother what SDP is doing with INEC.

I hope they allow the parties in IMO to have access to the materials. I want to know why Sylva lost 84000 of his votes, too.

After all the boasting, Yahaya is now in a panic mode freezing local and state government bank accounts, threatening to sack his aides and LGA Chairmen and attacking his political associates from Kogi East. If his candidate truly won this election, he won't be doing all these.

I believe there are so many governors within the APC that are ready to deal with Yahaya though. Muri is Yobe State governor's political ally. He's also close to Tinubu's men. These may be just the people behind this court case.

I'm happy,too, bro.

Anything that makes that arrogant Yahaya sad makes me happy. I don't have anything against his candidate, I just don't want to see that failure called Yahaya rewarded.

If he's allowed access to electoral materials, then, it'd be good. They haven't given LP the chance to do that yet in Imo.

Yahaya is apprehensive that anything can happen, hence the way he's attacking his cabinet members and freezing state and LGs account. He never wanted Muri to get up to 50k votes like they did to Dino, but he wasn't sure his people would be smart not to attack their own people because of an Ebira man.

Thank God the judiciary is at the eye of the storm right now - they'd be careful with how they sell judgement.

Tinubu should use this opportunity to deal with Yahaya and prevent him from bribing judges. Yahaya almost cost him the presidential ticket and went against the resolutions that power should shift to the south. Muri is more APC than Yahaya. So, they should support him and he'd still come back.

Muri is coming.

I've avoided so many people's posts and comments on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and Nairaland because of the just concluded guber. election in Kogi State. I'm surprised so many of them do not know that Bello is a liability to APC in Kogi. If the judiciary should uphold Ododo's election, I'm very certain APC would lose Kogi in 2027 unless results are written.

I just hope Muri would tender enough evidence! If he's able to prove the over-voting in Kogi Central, he would be returned elected by the time the courts remove the invalid votes awarded to Ododo.

No one hears from him again. Though, you know he's a silent attacker. If a not so known lawyer could wrestle the senate seat for Natasha from Yahaya, then imagine what an Olanipekun would do.

I saw a video of him yesterday which he made some days back urging his supporters to keep calm. He assured them that he would get back his mandate thru the judiciary. So I believe he would have set up a legal committee and got all the evidence needed.

BTW, Tribunal would commence sitting today.

@Donphilopus

See one guy here ooo. I'm sure if he's saying this with mouth, saliva go full everywhere. Maybe Yahaya don buy you bleaching cream, so you have to type this.

Did you see the votes from the Igala side? Go and check the true votes from the Ibira side.

You think rigging would continue forever? Senate is already organising a retreat to correct everything inec failed at in recent elections. Technology has reduced over-voting, but Yahaya went to Iwu's days and overshot it, not by 98% of registered voters voting, but even the votes are more than the number of collected PVCs. Mumu style of rigging.

Out of stupidity, Yahaya and his people even produced votes that outnumbered the number of collected PVCs. I don't know how this would stand. Natasha won in court and that should have guided them, but Yahaya is too arrogant to allow himself to lose at the poll - he'd rather lose at the court.

What you guys are banking on is not number or performance, but rigging. Lol

Lol. Very funny set of people.

The total number of accredited voters in the whole of central shouldn't be more than 110k but Yahaya had to lift the number to 300k plus just to massage his ego and some sane people have been celebrating that. Lol

I hope Muri would seek redress at the court! Ododo was announced on the 12th and till now Muri hasn't set up a legal team.

Don't mind those guys. They think we're fools.

So, they didn't wait for BVAS to change before they rejected 84000 votes in Bayelsa due to over-voting.

Muri should make sure he pray the court to grant that they use a forensic expert on thumbprint to know if multiple ballots were done one person.

Jonathan helped destroy the Judiciary by letting people like justice Ayo Salami out of the system.

He allowed them to do forensic work on the thumbprint on the ballots in Ekiti state - at some point they even realized fresh perm kernel were used to thumbprint in the course of rigging.

And the strange thing is, they use the Ibira farm settlement to run rigging in Ekiti and this careless rigging took place in Ebira land.

Muri and Sen Sam Anyanwu do have a case. The rigging was much.

It's just unfortunate bro. Even those I hold in high esteem have been celebrating this daylight robbery. It's just unfortunate.

The funny thing is that INEC have started changing the number of accredited voters in Kogi State.

The whole of Kogi Central including all the wards in Ogori Magongo produced about 104k votes for the major parties (APC and PDP) in the senatorial contest while only Adavi produced same figure in the guber. contest. I just hope the courts will do the needful!

The accredited numbers were not the final numbers you were seeing before

It was bro. Why are the numbers only changing in Kogi Central? So you actually believe 730 can be accredited out of 745 registered voters in a polling unit in Nigeria? The voter register has been existing since 2010 or so. Nobody died? Nobody traveled? All of them traveled home just to vote? Lol.

Yahaya Bello isn't just wise. If Wike was in his shoes, he would have rigged that election without any traces. Just like Natasha, Muri would retrieve his mandate if he provides enough evidence in court.

This is an exercise in futility if the BVA machines have not been reconfigured. They'd be tendered in court alongside forms EC8A. If the figures on the BVA machines do not correspond with the figures on the forms EC8A, INEC and Ododo not APC would have to explain. If I were Muri, I would consult with Wole Olanipekun and possibly hire him. Because if he allows Ododo to hire him, he may use technicalities to defend and win the case.

The same Ajaka that participated in bringing the calamity call Tinubu to power, now you see the side effects of rigging, you go lurnn the hard way 🤣

I knew you were a scam when you were pretending to support Ajaka on this forum. Is Ezi Ogu (Ogu's children) not your name again?

Now I know Ebiras are not as populated as the Igalas. Your people used to say Igalas are just deceiving others with their number of LGA's. Now it's obvious that they're indeed more populated. You accredited about 30k voters in Okene but inflated Ododo's votes to about 136k when the number of registered voters for Okene is just a little above 140k. I knew people who traveled from my place in Edo to vote in Kogi and they confirmed to me that election in the entire Ebiraland was a sham.

It is required

The election may likely end in a runoff. And when that happens, the Igalas may likely write results just as the Ebiras just did. If they do, they wouldn't even need votes from west to win the election.
