Yes pastor was fully with Monday as the godfather and party leader.he was at the forefront in support of monday.he suggested hon ihama and Samson osagie but immediately denco was chosen,he has been silent.osgio imposed denco because okpebholo camp already settled for ihama before ganduje forced denco on him.i heard campaign starts today

Let's see how it goes then. I'm not in Edo at the moment so I don't even know what's going on there.

POI has been silent since oshiomhole imposed denco

Oshiomhole couldn't have imposed Denco. They would have met and agreed on his choice. Campaign hasn't started yet. POI is fully with Monday.

I doubt. He was with POI before the primaries. Since POI withdrew from the race for Sen. Monday, I believe he'll also be with Monday. But I dunno. I haven't confirmed.

They're even praying that God willing, Yahaya Bello will become President of Nigeria someday. Lol.

Another thing I noticed, they believe Igala people are behind Bello's predicament. They're praying that God should destroy any Ebira person teaming up with Igala people to embarrass Yahaya Bello.

Funnily enough, they didn't get a dime from the 80.2b naira allegedly looted by Yahaya Bello yet they're there embarrassing themselves.

Nonsense.!

You're very wrong.

Akoko is indigenous Yoruba (Ondo state) people.

There are 4 Akoko local governments within Ondo State - right next to Akoko-Edo in Edo State.

1) Akoko North-East 2) Akoko North-West, 3) Akoko-South-East and 4) Akoko-South-West.

Infact, the Akokos are the single most populous sub-ethnic group in Ondo State. Larger than Akure, Ondo, Owo and Ikale/Ilaje.

It was the convenience of using River Ose as boundary between the Ondo and Edo States that resulted in some Akoko villages ending up in Edo.

Can you mention at least one community in Akoko Edo that's Yoruba? Just one please. I'm from Akoko Edo and I'm telling you what I know. We are close to the Yorubas but no community in the whole of Akoko Edo is indigenous Yoruba.

It would have even been better if obaseki picked senator domingo obende except if this guy was nominated by hon Adjoto

Senator Domingo? Lol. He will never accept that. He can never deputize anyone. It's too small for him. BTW, I was told a meeting was held on Saturday in Igarra the headquarters of the LGA. I believe they agreed on Marvelous at the meeting.

Are yorubas indigenous to akoko

Imeri used to be part of Akoko Edo. But they're now in Ondo. So the answer to your question should be no.

Where is donphilopus? Come and expatiate but I know Edo has strong affinity to yoruba

He's an Okpameri guy from Lampese. Most of my people in Akoko Edo bear Yoruba names. In fact most of our parents understand Yoruba. We share boundary with Ondo and his (Marvelous) community, Lampese shares boundary with Kogi (Ogori Magongo LGA).

Another political blunder from obaseki.instead of him to pick a strong man like Kabiru adjoto another betrayer or senator alimikhena or pascal ugbome to pacify orbih camp and etsako people or pick the current speaker to curry owan votes,he has picked a political nobody like himself.everything is working in favour of senator okpebholo the incoming governor

Who told you Mr Omobayo is a political nobody? He actually won the Akoko Edo House of Reps election last year. With this appointment, I can assure you that PDP would get nothing less than 70% of Akoko Edo votes in the forthcoming guber. polls.

Politics / Re: The New Wife Of Ooni Of Ife HIM Elham Madani Ojaja by donphilopus: 5:29pm On Mar 12
chopnaira:

Well, the kingship of the Ooni of Ife is not based on hereditary monarchy.

When the current one is done, it would move on to another royal house/compound. There are 4 royal compounds, even though they all split from one compound centuries ago, with each royal compound having at least 4 other families. For example, the last Ooni's descendant may not get anywhere near the throne for another 200 years.

That's exactly how it is in my community. We have five royal families and the last occupant which happened to be from my family ruled between 1971-1997. The current occupant was enthroned 1997 and he's still there till date. I believe in my lifetime, Kingship would not come to my family again. 😄 It may return to our family in the 22nd century.

There are competent people from other tribes. Two Yorubas and an easterner or someone from the south south would have been ok. Just my humble opinion though.

The Yoruba people are in government....

Hopefully no one will blame southern Nigeria for the administration failure ..

Buhari and his Fulani blood.. were. Or this nepotistic and archaic.. it was a northern government. For real.

Whichever ways .. we wish the Yoruba people well... for the sake of Nigeria .

But one will then ask..

Why are Yoruba states aside Lagos .. so underdeveloped and inhabitable.. or any one still in shock why herdsmen has are living freely with cattle’s living in houses ?

Go to idu ekiti and see for yourself .. right behind the federal medical center .. and funny the indigenous people are farmers ..

God bless Nigeria

Why are you angry that a Yoruba Muslim is appointing Yoruba Christians into his government? I thought you were trying to divide them along religious lines during the campaign? I think you should be happy for the "Yoruba Christians" since "Yoruba Muslims" are your problem.!

Just so you know, I'm also not happy that the three newly appointed persons are all Yoruba. But you shouldn't be complaining since you so care about "Yoruba Christians".

Politics / Re: I Discouraged Ransom Payment Until I Was Kidnapped – Ex-dss Director by donphilopus: 2:00pm On Feb 04
Namaster:
Dude said the quickest way to get rich is through kidnapping people for ransom.

This issue of kidnapping in Nigeria is the most ridiculous THING I have ever read.

There are systems in place that should make kidnapping people and going scot-free totally IMPOSSIBLE.

For example, the phone number used to make the ransom demand can be traced EASILY thanks to linking with NIN.

Even if the number does not belong to the kidnapper, the owner of the number would be related to the kidnapper somehow.

It gets even easier if the idiots use a smartphone.

Also, Telcos can track the approximate vicinity of an active telephone line. The area a phone was located last time the line connected with a telco's service can be determined and security operatives could take it from there.

There are systems in place that would make it a child's play to track and apprehend these criminals. The only problem is the Nigerian government and its agencies have ZERO regard for Nigerian lives.

Also, these kidnappers and bandits are MORONS. Case in point is the group of foolish bandits showing off on TIKTOK. It would be child's play to hunt them down like animals.

Consider how fast the idiots who killed monarchs in Ekiti were tracked and picked up.

They use victims' phones to contact their families for ransom.

You're a bloody liar looking for clicks on your YouTube channel. I'm Ebira and I speak my language fluently. Nowhere in the video where governor Ododo said Bello's orders supersede his own. He only gave a summary of how he joined politics and APC specifically because of Yahaya Bello prior to 2015 primary election.

I'm not a supporter of bad governance, but stop creating hatred and misleading people just to satisfy your interest.

Seun, and other admins, please take down this propaganda.

Oga, I'm from Igarra in Edo State and I understand Ebira very well. He said towards the end of the clip that if Yahaya Bello asks them to go to this way and he (Ododo) asks them to go to that way, they should go with Yahaya Bello because he's the leader. Why the lies bro.?

Admins, the OP is right. Don't take down anything. If possible, move this to the front page. Thanks.

Modified! The OP didn't post the full video. I watched the full video earlier which is about 5 mins. He truly said that. I'll get the link and post now.

Don't be surprised same CIV Morocco helped would later knock Morocco out and eventually win the trophy.
2002 World cup, Brazil sneaked in like this and won the cup.

Brazil topped group C with 9 points in 2002. How did they then sneak into the round of 16? Please make me understand.
