My goals are simple hit 2.5% profit weekly and consistently for the next 10 weeks....

Starting today.....

Trading style...

Two trades per day....

1 London session.
1 new York session.....

Only enter a start after 8am for London session...
And 2pm for new York session....

Imagine trading 100k account and you're in loss of 5000 dollars already...

That's just 5 percent oh...
But you and I know how big 5000dollars is how are you going to react....

Same thing when you are loosing 5 percent of 100 dollars account, which is just 5 dollars....

Most people misuse the word gambling...
They don't atually know the meaning of gambling....
If you check dictionary Gambling means taking uncalculated risk....
Doing something without proper knowledge that's gambling....

Forex isn't gambling if you have proper knowledge of how the system works....

1. Make at least 3% weekly for 4weeks
OR
2. Make at least +/- 5% weekly for 4weeks.

With this, no one will be looking to sky rocket an account in order to stop trading for the rest of the month. This will also force everyone to trade diligently and continously......Just a suggestion, you have the final say boss. Plus with this, we can be sure to see consistency.

I think having the contest for a month is also a good idea. But i feel 2 weeks seems more flexible.

this contest shouldn't be about becoming top 3 or cash prizes, but developing a system, psychology & risk appetite that works.

Formally the contest used to last for a month but they complained about it and it was changed to two weeks

Honestly managing larger fund is more difficult than managing small funds.....

Someone can decide to but then there is the restriction of max of 0.05lots for everybody. So its left for you to used up all 0.05lots or not. As a matter of fact, those that scalp open more trades than those after pips. So if you are good in either. You end up with brilliant result.

If you can't manage your risk then I don't know....
Risk management isn't all about using small lot size like I said it varies....
Risk management means knowing when to enter the market and when to jump out....
How much loss you're will to absorb....
One can make a million pips and still blow his account...
While some one else can make just 10 pips and still be profitable....
It varies....
Some people have the patient to see out a trade till the last minute, while some don't have that patience ....
It varies that's why we have scalpers, swing trader's, day trader's....
That's why we also have different tf to accommodate everyone...
At the end of the day no matter your style of trading...
If you're good you will always be profitable...

I am afraid the rule can not cover every one. I can only try and adjust to ensure we are close to best practices.
As much as only pips does not count. You still have to learn to make the pips. If you target 10pips to make 5%. Thats still going to lead to over trading. No room to allow your trades to breath as well and all that. Its better you learn to trade to make atleast 50-100pips per trade.

Like I said...
Using pips alone to judge won't stop over trading....
Someone can decide to use 0.01 lots size and at the same time open too many positions....
Thereby risking too much too

I work with percentage profit....
