The primary aim of the DM us to protect the defence. You have 5 other players you can give the ball to and support but you want him to drag the ball 40 yards. There is nothing to watch about Busquets other than winning the ball back and releasing it. Nothing. Is it Fernandinho that is always out of position? And that's because he always want to stray forward.

Scholes, carrick, Sergio, fernandinho all have one thing in common, vision and intelligence, fellaini simply has none

An intelligent DM might sight a free player ahead and release the ball to him, fellaini would not do that, he would rather pass to the person closest to him, hence slowing down play, if you complaining of slow build up play, look no further than fellaini cause he's a major culprit

Fellaini does not give away the ball easily. Once he wins it he passes it to his team mate. Is that not good enough? He has Pogba (most expensive player in the world), Rooney, Mata, Martial, Miki and the full backs to give the ball to which he does yet we must complain. What does Busquets do in barca midfield other than to win the ball and release to the nearest man? Yet he is appreciated. Fellaini hardly gives away free kicks. In fact you guys should just keep a open mind. Am not saying he is the best but so far he has been one of our best players on the pitch. The least we can do is to appreciate him.
