odizeey:Thanks a lot bro, yeah I’m good now |
Skimpledawg:Lmao I remember Donstan, I must have been out for so long I don’t even remember what his arguments used to be like I don retreat sha ![]() |
donstan18:Lol, Bro, what is your definition of stars abeg, So by your logic, Leicester had Stars when they won the league? Ranieri was also a star manager? If Van de beek, Neres and De ligt were stars during the 2016/2017 season, wetin we go come call Madrid and Barca squad during that period? Moons? Planets? How many of these players did you know very well during that time? We all saw what happened when some of these players became proper stars, The top clubs came knocking, Ten Hag made these players stars and they left, He has made another set again, That to me is a quality of a great manager And btw, the opposite of “Flop” isn’t “stars” bro. |
donstan18:Wait, are you for real? These are stars? What’s your definition of stars if I may ask? How many of these players did you know very well during that time? We all saw what happened when some of these players became proper stars, The top clubs came knocking, Ten Hag made these players stars and they left, He has made another set again, That to me is a quality of a great manager |
donstan18:Kindly name the stars he inherited please. Another question, What should we call a manager who wins his league and other domestic competitions multiple times? |
ChristoBam:Valid point, But it still doesn’t invalidate or negate the fact that they/he won titles, Those titles mean something to the people who play there and the entire country at large. Because he came to the premier league and couldn’t replicate his success doesn’t necessarily mean he is a “bad” coach. Van gaal is a good example. Let’s just hope Ten hag is able to replicate his success in the premier league. |
donstan18:How is someone supposed to have a Europe top 5 trophy when he doesn’t coach in aby of the Europe top 5 leagues? So when some one wins his league multiple times, He can’t be referred to as a proven winner? Until he wins a Europe top5 trophy? That he doesn’t even coach in? In his league, He wins, he wins back to back, I guess he is a proven loser then since someone who wins multiple titles in his league can’t be called a proven winner. Since it’s only a Europe top 5 league trophy that matters, Why aren’t Barcelona, Madrid and the other European giants not ahead of The likes of Rangers, Celtic and Al ahly in terms of most trophies won? Why the people wey do the count no invalidate Al ahly league trophies because say no be Europe top 5 trophy? Speaking of Major European trophies, How many did Tuchel or Klopp have before coming to the premier league? And Conte, if my memory serves me right |
donstan18:I have answered you sir… He is a proven winner of all the competitions put before him in the league he is coaching in. Does this answer your question boss? |
donstan18:Tuchel was a winner of what before he came to the premier league? Klopp was a winner of what before he came to the premier league? Conte was a winner of what before he came to the premier league? Arsene wenger was a winner of what before he came to the premier league? What is the difference between what these elite coaches won in their respective leagues and what Ten hag has won in his? Care to enlighten me sir? I’m pretty sure you would not hire Tuchel if you were the owner of Chelsea, just because he has not won the champions league, Cause I don’t understand why you are asking me “winner of what” |
donstan18:Has he “won” the Eredivisie or not? Or proven winner only applies to winning the champions league? |
donstan18:Just in case you wanna ask or say these trophies are not prestigious, Know that these trophies are equivalent to the ones we have in England, You don’t expect him to win the la liga while playing in the Eredivise do you? So yeah, he’s a proven winner, he has won more trophies in recent times than the last 4 coaches we’ve had combined, so yes again, he is a proven winner
|
So Ten hag it is then. I’m more than Happy with this appointment tbh, Now these Lazy players have no excuse or anywhere to hide. This is a manager with a very impressive CV, a proven winner with an excellent style of play similar to Guardiola’s. They have absolutely no excuse and I won’t bat an eyelid if Any or All of them are sold because they can’t adapt or play according to the coach’s style. Finally, Harry Maguire can kiss that Armband goodbye, along with his place in the starting 11. I’m fully ready for this rebuild, I’m behind the manager all the way. |
eph12:If we are talking about what they currently doing in this team then I can say Both Sancho and Varane haven’t been bad, Especially Sancho |
eph12:This is Their first season that’s why I picked them out, And Sancho hasn’t been bad this season, he started slow at first but found his feet later on, We all know Varane is an excellent defender who has won everything there is to win. We can’t say the same for the rest. |
nitrogen:Personally bro, I honestly don’t think you need a coach to create chances. How many coach we get when we Dey ball fire for monkey post? We no Dey score goals and create chances too? Na coach go tell you how to create chances my guy? Omo, make dem sell the entire Club abeg |
nitrogen:I won’t ever fault a caretaker manager, Especially one that came in to meet a dead and rotten club full of Useless players, Don’t forget we had just lost to watford 4-1 when he came, and the results before that were terrible too. The difference in the team from when Jose took over and now isn’t really that much tbh. Rashford is still playing, Lindelof, Fred, Shaw, Matic, De gea, To some extent, Dalot. |
Expert17:As in Ehn. |
nitrogen:Is it the coach’s fault Matic lost possession of the ball and they scored? Is it the coach’s fault that Maguire is not better than a piece of wood? I blame the coaching for always starting him. Is it the coach’s fault that Rashford runs faster than he uses his brain? If you are good or excellent, You don’t even need so much from your coach, Some things in football are just basic common sense. I ask again brotherly, At what point should we start blaming the players? |
nitrogen:Nitrogen, At what point should we start to blame the players? I really wanna hear your say on this question |
eph12:That just goes to show that these players are completely useless. I’m honestly tired of this club |
hensben:To me, The entire starting 11 shouldn’t be wearing that shirt, Maybe except Varane and Sancho |
CapitalCee:Honestly man |
BikeMan:The glazers have been splashing money on overpriced players and big names. That needs to stop, and that is why I’m glad Ralf is here, they have gotten it wrong everytime. |
nitrogen:Ah! You didn’t read that some of the players were complaining about Ralf’s style and coaching method? Lol. If they are complaining about Ralf’s method, what do you think will happen if Klopp takes over? |
nitrogen:So are you saying that, No single coach has been good enough for these players? How can you have a set of players coached by 3 to 4 different managers and yet nothing changes, Same story everytime, of course you’ll have to stop blaming coaches at some point, Is it until Pep or Klopp takes over before you start to blame the players? Coach 1 came, failed, Coach 2 came, failed, Coach 3 came, failed, Are you saying all 3 coaches were not good enough? At what point do we start to blame these players nitrogen? |
nitrogen:The truth is, a Different style and positive style of play will always seem like rocket science to you, especially when you are daft or unintelligent, hence you won’t be able to do shit. That is exactly the case with these unintelligent players, Imagine Pep trying to teach his style of play to these players? You think they’ll get it? Or even understand what Pep’s style is all about? I highly doubt that, They said it’s very hard to teach an old dog new tricks . The first thing Ralf asked for when he joined was that the players press more, and what happened? They started complaining, Now imagine adapting to a different style of play entirely? It’s impossible for them, They are too unintelligent to grasp simple concept |
Oasis007:Fact, Ferguson can’t. |
One can only hope that the incompetent board gives Ten Hag full control of the ins and outs like he asked for. Even Pep and Klopp can’t do Jack with these set of buffoons we parade as Manchester United players. We need at least 8 new players |
nitrogen:Nah, I think we have passed the stage were we blame this constant shit show on Coaching. The players are extremely unintelligent, No amount of coaching can help them. We can’t blame losing the ball and passing straight to the opponent on Coaching |
dopeJemi:The only players worth keeping for me are Sancho and Varane. The rest can get out, Bunch of Lazy and entitled twats |
This has got to be the most unintelligent set of players I’ve ever seen in my entire life, Watching these players is extremely disgusting… Sell Maguire Sell Rashford Sell Pogba Sell Mctominay Sell Fred Watch Bruno for one more season Sell AWB Bench De gea(especially if Ten Hag becomes our manager) Sell Lindelof Sell or Retire Matic If Ronaldo agrees to the Player-manager role, Keep him. Watch Martial for one more season under Ten Hag, But I wouldn’t bat an eyelid if he is sold. These players are Disgusting |
elrony: brotherly, Thanks a lot man |
