We've seen how players like cavani had a decent run of form and a little hype and ended up being bought for ridiculous amounts. It means zilch.

Just last season, di maria was deemed surplus to requirement and was being offered around for about £25m and nobody serious interest was registered.


A little late surge of form that came towards the end of last season, coupled with a good world cup doesn't make him significantly better than he was last season.

If he was soo super, madrid wouldn't be looking to sell him in the first place, don't u think.
They obviously want to capitalise on this 'once in a life time' opportunity to get him out asap while recouping as much $$$ as possible.
