Lastdon02: Both do dsame work broda its all Local server and both confilct wit prt80 eg if u av skype instal on ur pc u cnt install wamp or Xamp or any local server until u uninstall itno dats nt ryt...port conflicts do happen but can be corrected....skype or iis or Norton antivirus nd some oda programs will use port 80 as default port....so if u av skype or oda programs lyk dat u will av to change the port on which ur apache server will listen to....how to do dis: click on d wamp server icon go to apache under apache open the httpd.conf file nd search for listen:80 change it to listen:8080 or 5080...then save the file....note: to access ur site u will not type http://localhost....u will type http://localhost:8080....or 5080.....thank me later....whatsapp me @08185436877 for help......am willing to help any one out for free. 1 Like |

cool_akins: @Op,av installed it on windows 7....i dnt think the method of installation on windows8 should differ.....wat version are u trying to install?....before u try install wamp server on ur system ensure u av Microsoft visual C++ 2010 runtime library installed on ur system or else wamp server won't work |

@op...it's pretty simple.....first click on the form u want to validate then click on tags(not sure if it's tags but d last menu on d right hand side of d the dreamweaver screen then click on + sign then u will see a list of stuffs...validate form will be dere click on it nd from dere on am sure u will get d rest by urself.....if u dnt understand wat i mean..just click on help then click on getting started with dreamweaver then type *validate form* in the search field.....u will get more explanation there..would av explained better but my pc under serious malware attacks....trying to fix it back.....if you need more help....whatsapp me @0818543877 |

maekhel: Your question is not detailed enough, try make ur question clearly by stating wch test server u r usin nd ur dreamweaver site settingsam using iis7.5 and in my dreamweaver site settings i put c: /inetpub/wwwroot/ as my testing server folder. |

My fellow nairalanders, programmers nd web designers....pls i need y'all help to me overcome this challenge am having with dreamweaver....av been trying to connect my site on dreamweaver to mysql database for over one week now.....i keep getting this http 404 error server not found 1)there is no testing server working on this machine 2) the testing server does not map to www.mylocalhost.com/site/_mmServerScripts/MMTHDB.php.....pls any help i will gladly appreciate ur solutions.....thanks |

Wow ....one day while watching tv a comedian cracked a joke which annoyed me.....he said it is only in NIGERIA, you see people counting money after collecting from the atm(automated- teller machine)....i was so annoyed and furious but not until today i had a bad experience with the atm.....i went to the bank to withdraw money using my atm card.....i put my card into the machine entered my pin and requested for the amount i wanted to withdraw.....as usual the machine wrote transaction in progress...i waited for the money to come out....instead of the money coming out.....by card came out back.......i waited the money still didn't come out.....i left the bank....as i was going home. I recieved the alert that i had withdrawn 2000 naira from ma account...i was stunned and confused....dat moment i remembered the comedian joke.....and said to myself the comedian was more than right......i didn't even see the money not to even talk of counting it.......GOD help NIGERIA........
