Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because the city had fully transformed into debauchery----all sin was there (lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life).
The Bible, does highlight and record the men pursuing Lot and the angels for sex--instead of his daughters--and that was the final straw for the Lord..
Destruction had to come.
However, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah--pretty much resemble most of the U.S. and other cities--cough, cough "Lagos" cough....in other countries--cough Nigeria--cough--on other continents--cough Africa
Do you remember that I had asked you for scriptures about the polygamous patriarchs that God never sanctioned?

What God does is grant mercy and grace over a horrifically sinful and erring world.

God has clearly labeled it a sin...worthy of eternal damnation if not confessed and repented of.
I understand what you are saying, but I think you are lessening the problems/consequences of polygamy.

The fact still remains that God did not sanction all those guys. You are only talking about the negative side of it. I still consider it far better than homosexuality that God destroyed cities of sodom and gomorrah because of. One of the purposes of our existence is to become populous and polygamy helps in achieving this. The white should legalise polygamy instead of homosexuality!

Those who claim Christianity and engage in polygamy are not following the biblical model.

It is "man" (godly or not) who decided to fulfill the lust of his flesh and do whatever pleases him....and God doesn't interfere with allowing His creation to have "free-will". If s person wants to do it, then.he/she is free to do it, but understand there are practical and spiritual consequences.
Just because God allows people to make choices, doesn't mean that the choices are, were or will ever be His perfect will.
He gave followers the blueprint for marriage.

what I m saying is that polygamy is still normal and God doesn't really frown at it unlike homosexuality. It's all in the bible. The patriarchs are polygamous and God never sanctioned them.

I mean it sounds and feels odd for them to embrace sodomy to the extent of joining them in the church of God. All the Abrahamic religions accept polygamy but homosexuality is a no no. This people are so weird to me right now!

This might be my last thread seeking help on a faceless forum, Many of you might as why u don't sell my phone to solve my problem. Here, is a little story about me.
1. I am a student currently in my final year, I don't think I have the capacity to continue anymore financially. Throughout the strike this year, I was working seriously to gather enough money for my rent (part) and school fees. It has not been easy on my side.
2. I have tried my best and my parents are financially crippled owing to the fact I have younger siblings, since my dad lost his job. It has not been easy for us. I can't abandon that.

My Challenge
I don't want to come here to beg anymore, I can't eat twice a day. I did not travel for the Christmas due to the fact I had no money so I remained in school. I also do menial jobs but as it stands no jobs till next year due to the holiday. Feeding has been tough on me.
I honestly do seek help from willing people here, please My initial thought is to raise a little business here that could help me through this my final year for feeding and expenses. It's not easy schooling and working in Nigerian University.
I just hope help would come by..
I plan on starting a shawarma business or Selling if eggs in crates that would create tym for me as most jobs require I should be available during the day which is not easy for me going to school.

Every financial app on your phone should have a password, if possible a separate password for each app. That way even if you lose your phone, you can be sure that all your accounts are safe.

Why not use true-caller premium app
To get his details.
Including emails.
Search online for social media handles registered wt the email.
Then you can b able to get his pix.
Then using his pix inject into Google lens.
And get his full profile.

A few days ago, my phone was stolen from me and the guy changed my UBA mobile app password and used my OPAY app to withdraw over 20k from the UBA account. He then transferred the money into another Opay account. I just retrieves my line and changed the opay password and I have details of the account including the phone number he sent the money to. He also tried to send it into one access bank account which I also got the details.

Pls how can catch this thief? I have tried to chat up with opay agent but they didn't respond. I am planning to take the details to the police tomorrow to help me track him but I don't have my phone imei
