The idea that one Andy Uba is a threat to Chukwuma Charles Soludo in the up coming governorship elections at Anambra state is by far one of the biggest jokes of the century. The APC is like a cat that sees itself as a lion on this one. Meanwhile their internet hoodlums have been ceaselessly trying to create the impression that there is a contest between Soludo and Uba. Fact of the matter is that Uba can not beat Soludo in a free and fair elections in UGA, his hometown! Folks from that area are genuinely upset with him and his brother for attracting zero federal presence to their local government all these years they have been noisely disturbing the peace of the ancient town. In greater Anambra state, the Uba brothers are regarded as court jesters whose entertainment value keeps depreciating by the day. You gave the reasons for this situation and then started asking for the reason again.
The very moment you established the fact that most ethnic groups in Nigeria hate each other with passion, you answered the question. Forget all the long essays they're dropping here. The main reason for this situation is pure hate! Total dislike of the other guys cultural outlook based on different ideological beliefs. Ofcourse the lazy thinking that without Eastern Oil, they're all finished is part of it. But the main reason is envy, jealousy and hate. They know that the life of the other groups will surely be better without Nigeria, and they're doing all they can to stop that. They have lost every hope of ever outcompeting the igbos decently and are basically trying to use every crude and evil means to dictate and control the lives and events in the East.

The outcome of the civil war gave "winning groups" the opportunity to lord it over those who are considered to have lost the battle and they're determined to milk that to the last breath. This is why I personally see no end to this without force. These groups who won the war and who have been looting and enjoying Nigerias oil and gas wealth ever since will never relinquish their odious benefits peacefully, unless you force them! The igbos who lost out, will never see those responsible for the killing of almost 5 million of their own, from a then population of less than 15 million people, just to create this mess of a country, as normal co-citizens worthy of their trust and love.
