I remembered saying around last month that I'd swing short Euraud. I did the opposite because the chart was giving a different idea. The seasonal tendency was true but only lasted one week (around the time boss peteregwu made that big swing).

The month has finished and my $100 grew fatter with my 20% win rate 🤭. It's only month 2, though. I want to see what happens by year's end.

With this in mind, I'll be looking for only swing opportunities that can offer 200 pips per month. You know what $20 per month will do to a $150 account?

Somehow I don't really shine with prop competitions and stuff. Maybe, I'll just "grow into it".

Next month's pairs are likely; GU and Eurcad. One good long position from either of them is all I need.

But i tried chasing too many pairs and i noticed i couldn't catch up....
I dont have a laptop so i do my analysis with phone....
Hunting and looking at too many pairs with mobile is alot of work...

So gu it is for now...
Until im profitable with gu no need gathering other pairs....

As long as the pair moves everyday...

I used to trade multiple pairs, then I changed and started trading one pair which was usdjpy then switched to gbpusd because I thought if you master one pair, you'll make less mistakes and be more profitable but that's quite far from reality. The best way out is master a strategy that can line up all the odds in your favour in any currency pair or stock or indices or futures etc and use stop loss as a safety net for re-entry( this is all you need for risk management), you only allow 2 trades max for any currency pairs. I tell you success won't be far from you.

Calm down bro, always expect to be wrong on any given trade (it's 50/50 per trade), and then be ready to flow with the market's tide.
If you hit a strong wave, raise your head and observe, if there's really a new direction, swim in it then. If the flow is just chaotic, turn off your engine and wait out the storm.

I use monthly to do my analysis.

I first go to monthly to check chart pattern and also to know the overall bias of the market I.e. To know if the lair is in up or down trend.

From there I plot my support and resistance on monthly and weekly before then looking for entry in daily or 4hr or 1hr

yes...o- it is still doable...since you are in $200 blue profits...just take $150 divide it by your current lot size position...whatever pips amt it give you, you then add it to your entry point...it will give the exact level matching the $150...so you simply adjust SL to that exact level...e.g eurousd inital entry level 1.0700 with open lot size of 0.5 will give blue profit of $200 should you go long and nudged at 1.1100 current level...
now, to take your proposed $150 out of it..you will simply divide $150 by your current lot size position.: $150/0.5=300pips amt
add the 300pips to your initial Eurousd entry point level of 1.0700 = 1.1000 level that means, if you adjust your SL to 1.1000 it corresponds well with the $150

True.. I look at my mt5 too much... Its tiring buh I can't get my sef to stop... The anxiety of how the trade is doing always keeps me at the edge... I would tke a trade now with the mindset that the traded money is already lost..No taking of partial profits or wins...(those are emotions).... Robocop dreams 😁

I swear this trading na emotional damage... Imagine I shorted gold and Nasdaq (Gold entrypoint:1951.90....Tp:1935.66.... Gold carry me go $2k+ profit.... Then took me to $1k loss(almost meeting my stop loss)... Then took me to $500+..... Then to - $648.... Na so I tire for the rollercosta con pull d plug (2 hours ago) .... Now I check Mr. Market Gold dn pass ma T. P😭😭..
