We all know how scammers operate in this business and the reason why fta have lasted this long., Is because most people here dont allow fta to be a dumping ground for our so called pro traders...
Dont come to fta and claim to be a pro and ask people to give you account to trade you will be called out to be a scammer and meshpips cant be exempted...
He has done this several times and we cant turn a blind eye to that ...
Alot of us are struggling traders and we gained a lot of knowledge from this thread we cant such elements to ruin it for us...
Once one person gets the pass other scammers will flood in...

I enjoyed your post, I read it all. You see, it's no news that Meshpips is smart/intelligent in this business; he made mistakes and is costing him all these. He is on his path to get up, he's working on himself and you can see he is on phase 1 to the road of being funded.

Meshpips was just over confident, and as a man with family who would be more money focused - he pushed himself beyond measures while trading. This led to his predicament last year which I would not have to divulge further. And since I recently came back here and saw all those saga, I called his line to understand the situation and had some empathy. Life throws shade, it's OK.

I blame him for trading for people or asking people money to trade, cos it mostly does not end well.

Meshpips, ask those who have called you names here and have shamed you with allegations that you are a scammer or that you have scammed them, to come forward. Let me refund them.

This same thing made me lose an account. In a simple definition "no trades should carry a floating loss greater than or equal to the daily drawdown ".
If you have a 10K account and 250 is the daily drawdown (-5%) ; "9750", your open trades must not let your equity drop to 9750.

The balance based drawdown is just a name for adjusting were your total loss can be for the day or the next day, don't read too much meaning to it. Many mods fail to explain it this way, I don't know if they like it when people blow an account.

Balance-based is not marketing gimmick or anything. Na una no understand basic calculations and understanding.

Balanced-based: Lets assume you have $10000 + running trades of 200$...

Your balance is $10000 while ur equity is $10200 running through the following day.

For Balance based; your DD will be $500 (5% of 10000)

Meaning you could lose your running profit of ( $200 + $500 your DD) to violate


Equity Based: Using the scenario above.

Your DD for the following day will be $510 (5% of $10200)

So your total loss should not go more than $510.. including ur running trades.


This case... You are running $200 in profit... So u can only lose $310 more to violate.

For the nomination,I am not nominating anyone until we see their performance from probably 2/3 previous competitions,it is not necessary dey make specific Target but atleast to know their actual performance/risk management,maybe we should hold on till this August end and den check the previous performance of those people they have been nominating,it is not all about getting acct but about not blowing it ANYHOW cos this is someone hard earn money which u can't just get and do it anyhow

I think when you practice it, it will be clear instead of assuming. I did practiced it and the balance kept rising.
You must not follow everything you read as it is written o. You must modify to suit your.

One of the reasons why most hit DD is as a result of this % risk this. % risk that.
When you risk 1% per trade on a $10k using 1 standard lot, 1% risk on such will be 10pips SL. When you trade using this approach. There are high chances that you will go into revenge trading and lose the acct so fast.

But someone that does 0.01 lot, risking 1% per trade will last longer. Will trade under no pressure and hence better decision making. So best lot for $10k in my opinion is 0.01lot risking 1% per trade and no more than 2% risk per day.

For the timing, that there are no time limit does not mean you can not work out a time frame.
So in my view, wit a 2% target monthly. You should be good wit phase 1 in four to five months. And then another two to three months in phase 2
Those are what I think is ideal. But less gives rest of mind. That's why it's better to hustle for as many accounts as possible and it will make the target less.

I am at a phase of my trading life where I mostly learn by continously studying the charts, reading risk management n psychology messages/books.
I keep it simple. Nothing complicated. Not looking for any strategy. If you are new, test run it all but stick to one simple strategy at the end of your fantasies

I do not promise to give you this world but I will never scam you. I also look forward to that day we will have more of us scaling tru this challenging and rewarding path and I will get rewarded with a giveaway too right here.

No bro.. it’s not your lot size . It’s the pair you trading. those pairs are too dangerous. Spikes, slippage, high swap fees, huge commission and low liquidity..
