Thanx for your response, many muslims know these disgusting but true facts about islam and mohamed yet they choose to remain in islamic bondage, what do you think is responsible for this? Also are your parents aware you have renounced islam? And how did they taker it if they are aware?

sure i think what is responsible for this is denial and 'consolation' of the facts and circular reasoning(eg muhammed had to kill those insulting him because allah,blah blah blah or he killed all the males above age 12 and took the girls and women for sex slaves because blah blaah blah!!argh ) no,my parents dont know,i wont tell them until atleast i have my own place

morning sure,this is a summary of me leaving islam:...basically all of my 17 years my parents have made sure that i be surrounded by muslim/islam.infact i go to a muslim highschool,so even my friends are muslim.one of my friends likes debating about islam to many especially christians.an older girl(20s) invited my friend to a religion debate for teenagers and my friend told me about it,so we went.in short i learnt many disgusting yet true facts about islam from that debate

no matter how you may try to paint it, cheating does not favour women. The consequences are too much when compared to men.
Mind you, women are not that fortunate to remain a hot cake in the relationship market just like men. As women get older, they get uglier and unnatractive but a man just needs to have money to get any woman he likes. If you are a man, can you marry an old woman? But a lot younger girls will marry an old man. If you are a lady, will you support your brother to marry a woman over 40yrs? But I'm sure you wouldn't mind your brother of 40yrs marrying a girl in her twenties. You may try as much as you can to make it seem like men and women has equal chances but within you, its not so.

I maintain that a man can get a beautiful woman anytime any day, no matter how old he is, but a woman above 30 is already running out of beauty and time. Who wants to marry an old woman who is divorced anyway? When there are lot single girls ready to be a second wife, going from one church to another to get a man at all at all. Abegi.

I have strong faith in African women and would treat our issues independently of Western women.

The curricula for girls enabled them to become good housewives, rather than income earners.
Despite this and every other thing I have said, Nigerian female rates roughly match the Western counterparts. I don't need anyone to tell me that we can do excellently well if given the opportunities Western women have.

i think chemical engineering is better to study because it has a wider range of application which also includes petroleum industry

yes,their would be more male folks standing alone ....age group:15-24 years(male 17,486,177/female 16,732,533)= 753,644 MORE MEN THAN WOMEN.......age group 25-54(male 27,697,644/female 26,285,816)=1,411,828 MORE MEN THAN WOMEN.so even with nigerian men immigrating more than women,theirs still more men under 55years. What do you suggest?

Yes, it is very necessary that more women are 'PUSHED' into STEM fields. So many ladies have been told they can't do one thing or the other because they are female, you don't want to chase prospective suitors away and all that nonsense right from when they were kids. Let me give 2 instances to buttress my point.

1.when I was in secondary school, I had this close classmate, we were like 13yrs old. One day we were talking about what we wanted to be and what we wanted to do after university. I told her I wanted to buy a car and build a house, she asked what about getting married, I told her I was sure going to get married.
She replied "ha, Jade! Don't you know if you have those things no man will want to marry you? I said so what if I can afford it and I need it? She said It's best you don't get those things cos it scares men away.
Obviously she had been trained to believe that dulling her shine is what will get her a husband. This is the kind of training a lot of girls get in Nigeria.

2. In my last class at secondary school our male physics teacher was asking what we wanted to study in the University, when I told him MINE, He said you are a very intelligent little girl but why don't you go for something like(went on to suggest some courses he considered feminine) his reason was that It will allow me have more time to take care of my family when I get married because I am a lady.

That said, There is something called CLASSICAL CONDITIONING in psychology and this is why most females tend towards non-stem courses even unconsciously because the notion that ladies should do ladylike course is already in their subconscious mind.
