Firstly, Thank you, God, for giving me another year of life.

Thank you for all the people who remembered me today by calling, sending messages, gifts and good wishes.

Thank you for all the experience of this past year; for times of success which will always be happy memories, for times of failure which reminded me of my own weakness and of my need for you, for times of joy when the sun was shining, for times of sadness which drove me to you.

I hope God forgives me for the hours I wasted, for the chances I failed to take, for the opportunities I missed this past year. And I pray He helps me in the days ahead to make this the best year yet, and through it to bring good credit to myself, happiness and pride to my loved ones, and joy to myself. Amen.

Old age kwa? I'm still a young man oo!

Each birthday is an opportunity for me! And opportunity for reflection...for introspection...and for connection. A chance to look inside myself and see where I want to be and to take steps to get there. It's easy to forget but I have one day a year that I can make a little
more spiritually elevated. Today can be a little different. It's not a special day for everyone else; it is my day. My day to make special...amidst the mundane, in middle of the regular routine...and use that day to the fullest, to start making positive changes, and to take steps in the right direction.

I am still young. I still feel so young. There is still so much I still have to do, so much I want to accomplish! Lots of dreams, aspirations and goals! Lots of people to help one way or the other! It is hard to ignore but guess that's one of the things I'm created for!

So I will ask the Only One, God Almighty who can help me for strength and ability to make those changes, to become better...and for the time and resources I need to do it.

I need to say this. To all my true friends and family out there, thank you! Thank you for your love! They keep me going and make me realize that someone out there appreciates me and really loves me. God bless y'all loads!
