I know banks that take more than 150 a batch. I know a bank that has 4 TS running concurrently in Lagos alone, with each class taking up to 40 trainees.

Fidelity has HR in Enugu, PH, Kano, Abuja, Lagos and Ibadan. You do know each of this HR regions, most times have training schools. A place like Lagos should have more than one TS.

Except you're implying each region doesn't have a TS or each TS class can take not more than 30, which I doubt, then it has to be way more than 150. Everyone can not enter at once, but I disagree with the 150 claim. Make people no go get high bp...

I have no idea why he would drop that info without checking up! All regions have HR...Lagos gas two centers! So the bank can train as much applicants as they want!

And that's the issue ... The information flow has being distorted. I'm not against the Whatsapp group or anything. But I know when I got the invite I searched Nairaland for information and got nothing tangible, I felt confused and abit vulnerable.
Take for example the KPMG trend it has stood the test of time, I know how many times I need information and I just come here and search. From visa application tips, to romance, to general life issue, it's really comforting to have a reference point.
Sharing tips here is great and I see nothing wrong in that. People can always make use of the information... There is no need for things to be shredded in unnecessary secrecy. After this batch recruitment what happens to the Whatsapp group? Kaput....all the information, all the tips, all the reference down the drain.
Honestly I don't think any HR or Top executives checks nairaland as a professional reference point. They might be a member of the forum but that's as far as it goes. Fidelity has being using Gmat 2007 since God knows when, do you think they care that we know? Did knowing were the questions would come from make everyone to pass? Same way sharing tips or experience publicly wouldn't make everyone pass. Please my own is let's keep this forum active.

I agree with you sir! I guess the reason why there hasn't been much input on the thread here is because most of us are still waiting for our interview invite. Also, there is basically nothing to discuss while waiting for the next stage of the recruitment!

But I can assure you that this thread would be kept alive as it was during the test! Thank you!

Me I'm just confused oo! Cos he gave us all the impression that he wasn't writing the test and was only tryin to 'help'! He even came here asking for help which is meant to be for a ghost friend or sister! Haba, we don't have to lie! The guy just failed the Intergrity test! Lol

As regards the whatsapp group, there are some informations we can't possibly leave on a forum as huge as this! In fact, for the past couple of days, we've been conducting mock live interview sessions amongst ourselves and close to the 100 group members have been contributing and learning better ways to approach questions! I bet we can't do that here!

The whatsapp group was created a long time ago. It was primarily for a quicker response to questions and informations! Aside those that were added yesterday, the bulk of the people were those that aren't even Nairalanders...They are people who were exchanged contacts after the test!And I doubt if the group has interfered in any way with this thread! No one has forced anyone to join the group as it is optional and no one is diverting people's attention and information from this thread to the group! Stop making a mountain out of a molehill please!

Well that shit won't be fair. Graduates have other things to pursue na. Normally, those who are successful from this interview should meet with the head HR for brief interviews na.... At least that was what I heard

The panel --->The head of HR ----> An Execitive Director

The first and second rounds of interview would prolly be on the same day!

Then if you scale through, you meet the Oga at the top!
