I just got an sms from NYSC notifying me of my state of deployment! I have been posted to OSUN STATE and I'm to resume on the 5th of May, 2015.

Has anyone gotten theirs?

Only God knows! But if you registered early, you have a better chance of making stream 1!

You got it right, I also heard from friend there that one can't spend more than 8k a month for feeding and transport and if u know how to manage, u spend less. But u that is going with ur girlfriend now will have to spend more. Lols

Osun state is very very okay! U can spend less than 2k per week! Cos transport is extremely cheap! Their camp is 1 of d best in d country and accommodation is super cheap! Just pray u don't get posted to d village!

Osun state (Osogbo to be precise) has between 20-22 hours of power supply daily! Even when they take the light, u won't know!

Was in Ibadan a couple of times last month and the power supply dere is nothing to write home about!

Pls if one is opportuned to choose between Osun and Oyo state, wich one is advisable? Am so confused ooo.

Bro, I was faced with the same ish...and I chose Osun!

My reasons being that; Osun is very cool, serene and the cost of living is cheap! So I get to save up money for the post-NYSC thingie! However, Osogbo is prolly the most lively LG but it still doesn't compare to the fun u'll get serving in Ibadan!

How would NYSC have informed you of the batch u're going with? Does that even make sense to you?! Please, the questions are getting annoying!
