Congrats I claim this good news for my self in faith in JESUS name!AMEN!please what date did you actually submit mine is exactly 2 weeks now but 11 working days.veronica151:and it was available for pick up,my renewal was granted.thanks to everyone |
veronica151: I submitted in vfs lekki. Oh I see let's see am sure we should be expecting it this week by GODS GRACE |

lekkynelson: I got my study Visa today from UPS at last....Thank you guyz....Love you all. Hello congratulation bro bro please which date did you submit and was it Lagos you submitted |
emmanuelson20: Tanx ~ my 2nd question- must it be exactly £7,200? (not more than).. It can be more than and it should not be less than the 7,200 for the 28 days. |
emmanuelson20: Tanx~ i already did that. (1) Does 28 days means 28 working days? (2) Must it be exactly £5,400?(not more than?). Tanx~. Ok that's good that you read tru it.let me correct an update that has not yet been changed on that thread.maintanance fee for inner London is now £1000 per month for 9 months which would be £9000 and outer London is now £800 per month for 9 months which is £7200 pounds.sorry it has not yet been updated on that thread.you can see it in the ukba post on item 151 of the paste open it and also read all it has all the information you need. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/pbs/Tier4migrantguidance.pdf. And also have in mind that if you have not paid your full school fees to the school that issues your cas you have to show the remaining of the school fees you haven't paid in your account together with the maintanance fund but if you paid your fees in full then just make available the maintanance funds.and has for your question on the 28 days it's not working days it's 28 consecutive days so Saturday and Sunday are included on the count.feel free to ask more questions in areas you don't understand cheers |
emmanuelson20: Tanx~ Pls, can u brief me about this 28 days issue with Bank Statement/Account?. Go to page 0 of this thread you would see an introduction that gives you all you need to know concerning applying for your student visa ,after reading you can ask questions on any section you don't seem to understand ![]() |

topsyking: Cyprus island...lol. yes I guessed has much!!!!! I heard to get a visa to Cyprus is even easier than getting a visa to go and school in southafrica! The way dis uk schools dey increase fees dey drive NAIjA away o! And dis new law that says if it's not degree level no working permit too no help men issues and to top it all when u finish school no more post working visa kaiiii Na real wa ! |
Na wa o I asked if anyone submited application recently or is about to no reply ![]() |
emmanuelson20: Good Day House, Can i still apply for a Uk Student Visa for spring? Tanx~. The ukba says that you can not apply more than 3 months before your course start date so it would depend on when in spring your course starts.people applying now are people who are starting course in january or february.if your course starts in april you can apply in january and if your course starts in march you can apply in december. |
Good day anyone in the house who submitted. His or her aapplication. Last week. Or recently? |
switima: are you serious. i tot it was 72,000. Is dis really true. Yeso o!switima I think the fee is correct because I checked on the website. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/countries/nigeria/fees1/?langname=UK%20English#resultTableAnchor |
fados4sure: Which country?. I was at the vfs centre today and the security was the one who attended to me when I said I was there for enquiry and he told me student visa for uk is 78,030 naira so just want to be sure so I don't get inside next week and be told something else.its the visa fee for student uk I need to know please guys |
Good day justwise and everyone how much is to apply for student visa now |
aeda: Hello,. Hello from all what you hve stated I feel u still stand a good chance to get your visa.re-apply when the 28 day count is over.where they ask wether you have been refused tick yes and just make sure your new cas shows what you have paid the school and the money in your account covers your required maintenance funds.you don't need more documents oher than your transcript stated in your cas letter that you used to gain admission to the school.don't panic you have a very high percentage of getting it now |

justwise: My only concern is that the period between the completion of your previous course and the start of the new one is more that 4months. In the link you provided it says: Further period of study following a course completed more than four months ago (No reduced maintenance level) (6.5). Thanks justwise its the same way I feel that is why I just decided to do the 7200 just in case they want to come up with an excuse but my concern now is that should I mark established presence on the form and then write in the space for additional comments provided that I have marked established presence however I have provided the money for 9 months or I should just mark the initial application and leave them to do the mathematics by themselves.what do you feel |

justwise: I know about the section you are talking about, did you retain your address in the UK? On top of that form is written: This form is for students who are already in the United Kingdom to apply to study under Tier 4 (General. Are we talking of the same form because this is what is written on the form .POINTS BASED SYSTEM APPENDIX 8 (APR 2012) TIER 4 (GENERAL) STUDENT SELF-ASSESSMENT This form is for use outside the UK only This form is provided free of charge.and the link to the form is. http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/visas/vaf9-app81.pdf&sa=U&ei=daJ5UJzxD4aEhQfS7IGACQ&ved=0CBwQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNFMCSVRSNW-x8d_FzXXfTYi8fnSxQ |
justwise: How long did you lived in the UK, when did u go back to Nigeria and which application form will you be using?. Yes justwise have been in the uk since last year september untill july making it 11 months.I came back to nigeria july ending.I would be using the normal tier 4 apllication form vaf9 appendix 8.established presence is in part 6.9 and 6.10 of the form if you have the form and it is explained futher in the tier 4 policy guidiance form(148. A Tier 4 (General) student (including Post-graduate Doctors and Sabbatical Offcers) has an established presence studying in the UK if he/she has current entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain as a Tier 4 migrant, as a student, or as a Post-graduate Doctor or Dentist when applying for further leave and on the date of application he/she: • has fnished a single course that was at least six months long within the applicant’s last period of entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain, or • is applying for a continued study on a single course where the applicant has completed at least six months of that course. Copied from the policy guidiance.item 148. Tier 4 Policy Guidance ) |
justwise: Since you are applying from Nigeria i guess you should keep £7200 in your account for the 28days, it would have been a different case of you were still in the UK.. Hello justwise has a naija guy I thought of that and have kept that in the account.but when filling the form now should I mark d section for esatblished presence or initil appliction because they stated there that you don't have to be in the uk to qualify for established presence that if you have a current student visa and finished the course and you are applying not more than 4 months after your visa expires you qualify.I read this in the guidiance.just wnt to clrify again with you peeps that have more ideas. |
My people please I am waiting for higlights on my question o! |
Good day all!! I greet all the peeps in the house.JUSTWISE I hail O!!! Please I need ideas in ere again o! I finished my hnd programme 1st of june in the uk and had a resit in july.my visa was also to finish august 1st.for the reason of my resit being towards when my visa would expire I had to write the exam and come to nigeria immidiately so I won't over stay.my results are now out and I passed the HND.but now I want to do the top up year to get the BA.it starts in february 11.I plan on applying this movember since you can apply three months before your course starts.the thing I don't get clear now is this established presence.would I qualify under this category since I finished study in june and my entry clearance finished august 1st.or do I have to put the whole 7200 pounds in the account for maintanance or would 1600 do for my case since I just left the uk .do I qualify for the established presence?abeg my people and just wise wetin una feel |
