PoliticsCourt Awards N30m Damages To Sowore Over Unlawful ‘wanted’ Declaration By Police by DoWhatThouWilt(op): 8:23pm On Feb 20
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Friday awarded N30 million in damages to activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, over his unlawful declaration as a wanted person by the Nigeria Police Force.

In a ruling delivered by Justice M. Kakaki, the court faulted the actions of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Moshood Jimoh, and the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, describing their conduct as unconstitutional and a clear breach of Sowore’s fundamental rights.

The suit arose from developments in late 2025, when the Lagos police leadership reportedly warned Sowore on October 27 to stay away from the state and subsequently declared him wanted on November 3.

Sowore challenged the actions, arguing that they lacked legal backing and violated constitutional protections.

In a judgment that spanned over an hour, the court held that the police acted arbitrarily and outside the scope of their lawful authority.

Justice Kakaki ruled that the directive barring Sowore from Lagos had no constitutional foundation and that declaring him wanted without a valid court order amounted to an abuse of power.

The court stressed that no individual can lawfully be declared wanted without adherence to due process, including the issuance of a court warrant and proof that the person is evading legitimate legal proceedings.

It added that the actions of the police infringed on Sowore’s rights to freedom of movement, expression and peaceful civic engagement.

Justice Kakaki further held the Inspector-General of Police vicariously liable for the conduct of the Lagos Commissioner of Police, noting that the violations warranted strong judicial sanction.

Consequently, the court awarded N30 million in damages against the two senior police officers.

Reacting to the verdict, Sowore’s lawyer, Tope Temokun, described the ruling as a landmark affirmation of constitutional democracy and the rule of law.

He said the judgment sends a clear signal that state power must not be used to intimidate or silence citizens.

According to him, the decision represents a wider victory for Nigerians, reinforcing the principle that civil liberties and lawful dissent must be protected against arbitrary state action.

President Bola Tinubu has called on voters, security agencies and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to conduct themselves in an orderly manner during Saturday’s polls in the Federal Capital Territory and the states of Kano and Rivers.

DAILY POST reports that INEC will conduct elections in the six area councils of the FCT, as well as bye-elections in the Ahoada East II and Khana II state constituencies of Rivers, and in the Kano Municipal and Ungogo constituencies in Kano State.

In a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), the President urged all eligible voters to come out and vote without fear, emphasizing that the democratic process thrives best in an atmosphere of calm, tolerance, and mutual respect.

He appealed to political parties, candidates, and their supporters to shun violence, inflammatory statements, and actions that undermine the credibility of the process.

He cautioned against any form of high-handedness, intimidation, or actions that could disenfranchise voters or erode public trust, stressing that security personnel are present to protect lives, property, and the sanctity of the ballot.

President Tinubu also appealed to the Commission to take all necessary measures to bolster voters’ confidence by ensuring timely accreditation, smooth voting processes, accurate collation, and prompt transmission of results, in line with the 2026 Electoral Act.

Fellow Nigerians, I assure you that the Federal Government under my administration will continue to support institutions responsible for delivering free, fair, and credible elections,” he said.

To all residents of the FCT, Kano, and Rivers, I commend your civic consciousness. I am confident that these elections will reflect the will of the people and further strengthen our democratic journey as a nation,” the President added.

RomanceYaytseslav Trahov: The Russian Secretly Used Glasses To Film Sex Acts With Women by DoWhatThouWilt(op): 10:36pm On Feb 15
A RUSSIAN blogger accused of secretly filming himself performing sex acts with women in Ghana has been pictured. Officials in the West African nation now intend to request the extradition of Yaytseslav Trahov amid allegations he recorded and circulated several intimate encounters online.

Media outlets in both Ghana and Russia described Trahov as a “pick-up artist” in his thirties who travelled to the country to film his interactions.

According to reports, he allegedly used a pair of sunglasses fitted with a hidden camera to record the meet-ups.

He would share short clips across social media – especially on TikTok – showing his first interactions with the women on the street.

One woman, who said she worked as an estate agent, described how Trahov allegedly approached her at a shopping centre shortly after arriving in the country. He told her he was searching for a new apartment and, after exchanging contact details, the pair arranged to meet at his apartment to discuss rental options. What she expected to be a routine business meeting quickly became something else.

“Upon arrival, the conversation shifted away from anything professional, so I chose to leave immediately,” she said.

“Nothing inappropriate happened between us at any point.”

Multiple other women have admitted to having consensual sex with the Russian native but say they’ve been left horrified after seeing themselves in intimate positions online afterwards.

They allege Trahov filmed them through his sunglasses before making them available on a paid Telegram channel, according to local media.

Around 40 women have made formal complaints over the same man.

With officials suspecting that videos involving dozens of women may have been circulated with some having now ended up on platforms such as X.

Ghana’s technology minister, Sam George, confirmed he had summoned the Russian ambassador to address the allegations.

The meeting, to be held in the capital, Accra, will focus on securing cooperation from Moscow.

A Ghanaian official said preliminary investigations indicated the suspect had likely already left the country.

However, he stressed that this did “not reduce the seriousness of the alleged conduct or the state’s responsibility to pursue accountability”.

George made clear that authorities intend to aggressively pursue the case.

“The gentleman will be looked for, we will activate every resource at our disposal working with Interpol,” he said.

“We will request the Russian authorities – and that is why I have invited the Russian ambassador – to work with law enforcement.

“We want the gentleman to be brought back to Ghana, extradited to Ghana for him to face the rigours of our law.”

While Russia does not typically extradite its citizens, Ghanaian officials say they are prepared to exhaust all diplomatic and legal avenues.

George added that if Trahov refuses to return voluntarily, prosecutors would consider trying him in absentia.

Further reports suggest the same individual may have been linked to similar alleged offences in Kenya, raising concerns that the case could span multiple jurisdictions.

Under Ghana’s Cybersecurity Act 2020, publishing explicit images of adults or children without full consent carries a sentence of up to 25 years in prison.

The case comes amid a wider crackdown on digital sexual exploitation in the country.

In 2022, a court sentenced a 22-year-old man to 14 years behind bars for sharing nude images of a Lebanese woman.

He pleaded guilty to sexual extortion and non-consensual sharing of intimate material – a sign, officials say, that the courts are prepared to impose stiff penalties.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities insist the message is clear: those who exploit others online will face the full force of the law.

Surely Adeboye is a false prophet.
If you could lay curses on people without considering what Jesus taught {Matthew 5:43-48; Luke 9:52-55} it really shows the level of devilish indoctrination that man infused in your hearts! Luke 6:45
The old man is using what our people in Yorùbá land call "ẹ̀yọ́nú ayé" or "ẹ̀yọ́nú àwọn àgbà" so even though he is doing nothing tangible in the work of the Lord you people will continue to praise him as if he is your god.
So you keep seeing him even in dreams due to the love charm he casted on all of you yet there is no single fruit of God's holy spirit in his followers you are a living evidence that he's only extorting money from you.
However i pray that if truthfully you are sincerely doing these things for a false prophet like that man the true God will help you just as He did for apostle Paul who had misdirected zeal for Judaism! Luke 23:24; Act 7:60🤔
Leave adeboye alone.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

At this stage, you shouldn't be asking such questions.
Genesis 2:18

Genesis 1:28

Genesis 9:7

“And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.”
So if you choose to disobey God just because you are finding it hard, that's your business.
All these online keyboard Christians sef. How can someone with a thinking faculty sit down and type all of these?

So Jesus Christ disobeyed God then. He did not marry nor did he have kids.

From what you typed, he choosing to remain single for the sake of the kingdom was disobedience and therefore sin against God since according to you, Gods commandment to marry is for everyone.

Right?

HealthRe: Cardiologist Warns Nigerians Against Excessive Consumption Of Energy Drinks by DoWhatThouWilt(op): 5:47pm On Jan 09
Some youths told journalists that they consumed energy beverages to endure long working hours and enhance sexual performance
Hmm... Men are suffering.

Most men today take all sorts of liver, heart and kidney damaging drugs and energy drinks to enhance their sexual performance and give her a bed shaking orgasm........ and still end up paying her for sex.

this life is hard.

HealthCardiologist Warns Nigerians Against Excessive Consumption Of Energy Drinks by DoWhatThouWilt(op): 5:46pm On Jan 09
Abubakar Sani, a consultant cardiologist at Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, has warned Nigerians against excessive consumption of energy drinks.

There has been an increase in the consumption of energy drinks amongst youths in the Gombe metropolis and its suburbs.

Some youths told journalists that they consumed energy beverages to endure long working hours and enhance sexual performance. Others said they usually mix the drinks with alcohol to “get maximum results.”

Mr Sani, in an interview with journalists on Friday, described the excessive consumption of the stimulant-packed beverages as a “time bomb” for heart health, especially among young people.

He stated that the surge in energy drink consumption, especially among young people, posed risks that may be far more serious than most consumers realise.

According to him, with cardiovascular diseases becoming a major contributory factor to the leading cause of deaths in developing countries, it has become imperative for youths to stay away from such drinks.

He stated that there were cardiovascular hazards associated with heavy consumption of energy drinks, such as raising the risk of heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes, while posing a serious risk of stroke.

“These (energy) drinks can disrupt the heart’s electrical rhythm and activities and make blood vessels stiff, which increases the chances of dangerous irregularities in heartbeat.

“Energy drinks are rich in caffeine, sugar, and other extracts that affect most parts of our body, from the heart to the nervous system, brain, liver, and kidneys, amongst others.

“For the sake of your heart health, stay away from energy drinks; they are not safe, and their complications may take time, but they will surely come,” he warned.

Mr Sani said recent studies had attributed the risk of heart disease amongst youths to excessive energy drink consumption, staying up late, poor dieting, and lack of exercise.

According to the cardiologist, the cost of excessive consumption of energy drinks is more serious for persons with an underlying heart condition.

“The combination of high caffeine levels and added stimulants can strain the heart far more than most people realise.

“Youths must avoid these drinks, as energy beverages can affect the heart and, in severe cases, trigger cardiac arrest and even death without prompt medical intervention,” he said.

Mr Sani also dismissed misconceptions that taking energy drinks makes one brilliant, warning that the excessive intake of energy drinks could lead to mental health issues, such as increased anxiety, depression, stress, and sleep difficulties.

He advised Nigerians to stay away from energy, alcoholic, and sugary drinks; avoid high-salt intake and processed foods; and embrace a healthy diet and exercise to improve heart health.

AntiChristian:
1. How many Gods died on the cross?
If Jesus is fully God and fully man, and is one with God the Father (John 10:30: "I and the Father are one"wink, then did God the Father also die on the cross? Or was it only one person of the Godhead who died?

2. If Jesus said, "I can do nothing on my own, but only what I see the Father doing" (John 5:19), and "the Son can do nothing by himself" (John 5:30), then for Jesus to have died, did God the Father die first or simultaneously?
How can the Son die if the Father, who is one with the Son, remains alive?

3. Jesus prayed on the cross, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46), implying a separation from the Father. If Jesus and the Father are one, how can there be a forsaking within the Godhead?
Does this mean the unity of God was broken at the cross?

4. If Jesus is God incarnate, and God is immortal and cannot die (1 Timothy 6:16: "who alone has immortality"wink, how can Jesus truly die?
Was it only the human nature that died, and if so, can we say Jesus truly died as a person?

5. If God the Father did not die, and only Jesus’s human nature died, then was the death on the cross a partial death?
Can a partial death accomplish the full redemption of humanity?

6. If Jesus is one with the Father and the Spirit (John 14:10-11), did the entire Trinity experience death on the cross, or only the Son?

How can the doctrine of the Trinity reconcile the death of one person with the eternal life of the Godhead?
You forgot to add one person. Michael The Archangel.

According to MaxInDHouse organisation, Jesus was actually Michael the archangel.

So Michael the archangel also died. grin

This table your are shaking, hope you are ready to face the consequences. Anyway,, this is very correct:

Many Christians today are not ready to die for Christ. What they want is to drive benz and build mansions here on earth. They are not interested in going to heaven.
That is what I noticed when I threw this question to my "Christian" friends. Not surprisingly, they all said the same thing the first commenter on this thread said:

Christianity EtcIs Donald Trump A Christian And Are Christians Expected To Support Him? by DoWhatThouWilt(op): 11:03am On Dec 28, 2025
In light of the recent U.S. military airstrikes in Sokoto and the way many Christians in Nigeria responded to it, I decided to ask some of my friends who are Christians a question: Is Donald Trump a Christian and are Christians expected to support him?

What shocked me wasn’t just the answers, but what I realised. Every single response was a loud, confident yes! to both questions. This made me realise that many people today who call themselves Christians (believers and followers of Christ), either have no idea what is in their bible or are not really Christians in the first place.

I say so because If Jesus Christ Himself, were asked that same question, I am fully convinced His answer would be the complete opposite, No!

Before anyone gets defensive, slow down, I am not attacking anybody. let’s actually think this through using Christians holy book, the bible.

1.Is Donald Trump a Christian?

The way Donald Trump presented himself when it comes to attack on Christians in Nigeria sends two very clear messages:

First: Christians should never be killed for their faith.
Second: If you kill Christians because of their faith, I will kill you.

On the surface, that sounds protective and even righteous but when you read the Christian bible you see something totally opposite.

Matthew 16:24–25: “If anyone wants to follow Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it,but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

Matthew 26:51–52: “Put your sword back in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.”

So here’s the uncomfortable truth, Trump’s message, whether intentional or not, boils down to this, Christians should not die for believing in Christ and if they are attacked, vengeance will follow. Jesus says something very different, Following Me may cost you your life, and you are not allowed to take another life to save your own.

Trump does not want Christians to lose their lives for Christ and he decided to kill on Christmas day. Jesus clearly teaches that losing your life for His sake is how you truly find it and that you should not kill.

So again I ask, is Donald Trump a Christian?

2.Are Christians expected to support him?

The book of Revelation is clear about why Christians in future will receive crowns, glory, and eternal life.

Revelation 6:9–11: “I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they held… They were told to wait until the full number of their fellow servants were killed, just as they had been.”

Revelation 12:11 says: “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives even unto death.”

Revelation 20:4: “I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and the word of God… They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”

Christians will be rewarded with crowns, glory, and eternal life because they were willing to die and because many of them actually will die for refusing to compromise. That is what the Christian bible says not me.

Now stop and really think about this, Trump’s vision is a world where no Christian ever dies for their faith. But biblical prophecy describes a future where many Christians will die because of their faith.

So again I ask, are Christians expected to support him?
