though sounds like a lost case but for future purpose. I need the recruitment process infor.Like mode of application, age limit, portal or website for application, qualification and experience. Never know some big guns will ditch the offer for desperate one like me. This infor is needed badly and thanks in advance for anyone that provide it

If i may ask, did you 'ditch' the offer too or you are about to apply? If yes, on what basis?

My younger brother applied for TSE and two weeks ago a lady called from jobberman call to interview him, but when the call came in,his phone was with one of his friend who was charging it for him. So my yonger brother called back but was told he will be call back. But till now he hasnt been call back. And luckily i saw this thread yesterday so i decided to seek help. Can someone explain on which step my brother should take again so he can be intervied. Thanks

I bet you called the contact centre line. If you can get the name of the first caller (Lady X), put a call through and ask that you need to talk to Lady X while you're being put on hold to fetch her.

Best of luck

hello all..

I was called by Tek expert(jobberman) about 2weeks ago to discuss an offer..and what i was told just came to me as a surprise..
i am very sure Jobberman has a thing in the recruitment cos i dnt want to believe those guyz came to Naija just to enslave us in our own country..
So because that know Naija for man power doesnt mean you have to come here and use us like a slave ..

the guy started by saying i have been offered a job role."billing and blablabla" , that i will be working from 7am-10pm monday to sunday..that i have a 10days annual leave , 3days sick leave and anoda 3days leave ..that i will be paid 13th month ..all i said was ok..he said resumption is April 9 or so..and finally said they are offering me 100k salary..
.
with my age , marital status and Experience..lmao i am single dou
.
i laughed hard because i saw that as a slap on my face. and this country cos what i earn now is far far far above that..infact the salary i told them at the interview was even far far more than that..

. i took my time to research Tek expert ..and found out that the lowest salary they earn in d US is 20000$ (glassdor) which is 7300000 per annum in naija currency..i even asked the Costarican guy that interviewed me that what hour do they work..he said he works for 8am -3pm monday to friday and atyms 3hrs on saturday..

When we are not robot..why will they want a human being to work 7-10pm monday to sunday..pure wickedness..

The guy that called was even rude..cos i told him you dont call someone on a phone to discuss an offer ..that he should do me an official mail and let me think about the offer ..next think he said was i dnt havr time for all those that i should say yes or no to yhe offer..
which i Gladly, Gbadunly, Enjoymently, Happily, Beautifuly, And diligently declined..
.
.

As much as I don't like the bargaining process, I cannot help but think that Jobberman Interfered with the whole thing. I want to believe that you declined that offer based on the fact that the salary you're currently earning "is far far far" more than what they offered. However, someone with low previous/current salary, having thought of the benefits would have jumped at the offer. I implore other guys to think about it before declining.

I still don't understand why a topnotch company like this would allow a foreigner make their own bargain for them. I agree with the fact that the guy was rude also cos he did not give room for much opinions on the side of the applicants.

Forget about what someone uploaded here from Tek expert as an excuse for variation in remuneration packages. I know a number of applicants who have more years of experience and scored well in their assessments but were still offered less compared to their peers.

Note: the role is subject to shift. You don't need to work from 7am-10pm(Even robots would complain), it's 9 hours per day( 1 hour break inclusive)and you have 2 days off within the week.

The bottom line is this; If what you are currently/previously earning is far more than what they offered and you still think you may reconsider afterwards because it's impromptu, then tell the man to do you a mail(a few days grace to accept or reject in the offer letter might do wonder) then you can improvise.

If you are not okay with the offer, please don't accept and don't discourage others who are just looking for an avenue like this to explore in their careers......Think twice, weigh your options before accepting/rejecting the offer. my one cent

Best of luck to everyone.

Sigh!... I really don't want to comment concerning the salary differences but you guys are behaving out of bound, please we should note that Tek Experts is not a government enterprise nor does it have a salary structure. Hence there's no any labour law that prohibit salary differences among colleagues or role of the same level with unequal skill sets level, Highest degree Certificate, IT Certificate and competency test performance. Please move on pass that salary disparity and preppe yourself against what's coming for you during the training or the work period. Focus and get trained;become a hot commodity in the labour market and your bargain price will be high. Remember this is just the beginning....great things are ahead. Microsoft Inc. is ahead of Tek Experts, so also are IBM, HP, Facebook, Google etc.
My candid advice " utilise Tek Experts very very well".... hmmmm. God bless you.

You took the words out of my mouth. This Job goes beyond just sheer remuneration package, I envisage a great potential.

I've been thinking in this direction as well. I feel they already had an amount in mind before coming, but after interacting with consultants here, they realized they could actually save more money. So, they are now conducting surveys to get a fair price. I may be very wrong, but that's just how I see it.

I agree with you on this because, the first time a lady called me from Jobberman before the interview, she made me understand that the range is btw 160-180k. I think they are trying to see who's gonna fall for this trick. once you are qualified and you are called for the offer, stand your ground, don't let frustration push you into doing something you'll start regretting later.

Guys, is it proper to bargain different pays for the same job position in the same company? Is it done? Would that be fair when someone realises that eventually while on the job. What's your take?

I took your advice. I just called them and they said since I applied for billing and subscription Customer service representative position, the company has put the recruitment on hold for now. That's only IT positions are been interviewed now.

Are you sure about this info cos somebody said something about attending an interview for this position too. You can check the first page of the thread

quite frankly, I hv been reading TE's employees reviews. and to b honest, it hasn't been encouraging. I noticed thier staffs in America complain alot.

I didnt want to say anything because I didn't want to discourage pple when I haven't seen thier offer.

another angle is, Americans are hard to pls, as Africans we hv strong endurance, besides if thier offer falls btw 140-180k, am sure most of us will appreciate it. aside the salary I will be aiming to use them to boost my career...noting says I shud b with dem forever.

conclusion: lets all not b negative yet, untill we hv an idea of their offer

Perhaps #150-#200k will do.

I know a guy who gave them range btw #200k-#250k when asked how much he would like to earn as renumeration

more review can be seen here from different employees from their other offices, especially Colorado in US

https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Tek-Experts-Reviews-E985594.htm

Is this job as good as they say it shouldn't end up like what is currently happening at Huawei

Hello,

I have seen these reviews from Glassdoor even before i went for the assessment/interview. I have a couple of friends from Tek xpert on Linkedin too and we do talk a lot. This company has employees across 7 countries(Costa rica, China, Vietnam, USA, Nigeria, Malta and Bulgaria being the HQ) and from my observation, American staff have more negative comments about the company's pros and cons. A load of staff from the aforementioned countries did not even say anything bad about the company. So my advice is this; See the offer letter before you make your decision. It's a matter of choice. Besides, there are two sides to a coin. Every Organisation has its good and bad side.

Keep hope alive

ok how do I put this...the whole recruitment process seem kinda too flexible(which shud be a norm, unlike wht we are use to).

judging from d response of those interviewed so far, its been a grt success (say 80-85%).

the final stage of d assessment which was d one on one interview....the hr guy that interviewed me was to calm and friendly...I felt like he was good at his job, trained to give high expectations regardless of d outcome.

finally, I kno I shouldn't think this but...I think the staff strength they are trying to recruit it large..200 yeah? I can but imagine how that will affect their proposed salary offer..

Conclusion: maybe am over thinking it(I hope so), al this mite just be in my head

If you noticed, they were not only flexible but also organised. This is how a standard interview should be, i guess most of us are used to Nigerian HRs format. Tek xprts is a top-notch firm operating in 7 countries including Nigeria. Judging from how the whole session went that day, trust me they know what they are doing.

Why not chill and let them worry about the staff strength and other things you put up there. Your assertion that 80-85% said it's a great success is no big deal. Besides, Some people didn't make it up to the interview stage.

Keep hope alive

To make up the remaining two rakahs you are to recite fatiha only

Islam for Muslims / Re: How To Complete Missed Rakah(s) Of A Prayer. by DOWHILE: 12:59pm On Feb 24, 2018
Rashduct4luv:

Wa antum fajazaak Allaahu khayran.

It is just the same ruling .i.e. the first two you prayed is your first two rakahs. Then you pray the last two rakahs with only fatiha just as we pray our last two rakah of Asri. This is in line with the hadith below:

It was narrated that ‘Ata’ said: Abu Hurayrah said: In every prayer there is recitation. What we heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say, we tell you, and what he did not tell us about we cannot tell you. Whoever recites Umm al-Kitaab (i.e., Soorat al-Faatihah) has done enough, and whoever does more than that, that is better.

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 738; Muslim, 396.

This means reading Fatiha is compulsory in prayer and no prayer without Fatiha but reading Surah after Fatiha is not compulsory!

And Allaah knows best

What if one meets last two rakahs in ishai. Will one recite only fathia and loudly?

Pls quote

Better late than never.

Your wife can change her ways but needs your help. You need to firmly express your feelings about the way she talks to you but first how do you talk to her?
If she is a fire for fire kinda girl, don't expect her to keep quiet while you talk down to her.
The few times she is soft spoken, praise her a.d let her know that's when you like her best.
Or compromise, give up one thing she detests about you for one

Its perfectly normal for her to be reluctant to travel to the village. The cultural barrier, language...its wide.
Nollywood doesnt help matters with the constant portrayal of the village being ridden with witches and destiny destroyers and Igbo men as professional ritualists. You have to explain your traditions to her ( leave out the gory ones please) and hope it will pique her interest.
You also didn't tell us how your people are towards her. I'm sure they weren't jumping over the moon at the news of your marrying an ofe mmanu. Don't expect her to be happy to go to a place where she will be jeered at....I would balk too. Especially as she is going without a child. I shudder at the things she 'might' face over there.

Finally, why did you decide to marry her against all odds? I'm sure there was a strong reason.
Hold on to that.

Goodluck.

Nice piece you've got there..........shout out to mizmycoli
