Im 25 years old and am currently doing a postgraduate degree in Accounting. I am the oldest female in from my father's first wife. My parents are old school.

In the past my parents have never really told me when they expect me to be married but now they are asking me when am I bringing someone home . I explained to them that im still focusing on my studies and university isnt the best place to meet a husband. They told me no one will want me when im old.

I have dated in the past but none of the relationships were serious...and ill be honest Im not sure if I intended them to lead to marriege. I just didnt think about marriege at that time.

My question is how do I attract a serious man? My demands are not hard to please...but my brother says Im too picky. I want the following from a man:

1. He must be educated

2. He must have the potential to earn enough money to take care of me and our family even though Ill be capable of contributing

3. He mustn't be too traditional... Id like him to respect my fathers wishes and still be morden

4. Id like him to be handsome but not extremely handsom that he is a player

5. Id also like him to be open minded about sex...ie He shouldnt expect a virgin and he should be experienced enough

6. Lasty Id like him to have intergrity and be faithful

Is this too much to ask? And where do i find him
PS: I am attractive enough (but I am not a supermodel) lol... Im not slim or fat but based on my prior suitors I believe I have what most African men want (use your imagenation because am not providing pictures )

Those are great achievers. Warren Buffet, Bill Gate, and the likes of what the OP mentioned above. I read Steve Jobs' speech after he died a couple of yrs ago and I was shocked and paralised with inspiration. His life was a total surprise nd bewilderment, as if he saw his death coming(though diagnosed of cancer). Most great men are not born, they are made.

She then pleads with this guy that they abstain from sex [even though she ain't no virgin] not because, she's a firewood or cow bone but because she has this understanding from her previous relationship that sex is not a good foundation for a lasting and meaning-ful relationship. The recent public announcements made by the admin of this forum got me thinking out loud:

"If only I understand this their language, I would be in the know if this guy is trying to play on my intelligence or just being plain sincere"

I come to this board more oft with the intent to contribute even a "good morning" and then I feel so out of place, yet I'm interested in programming....coding especially [I hope the two words do not mean the same]

I've only heard of HTML and CSS recently, A friend even volunteered to teach me and the only thing I could grasp from his lesson - which btw I'm not quite sure of now is "How to differentiate a CSS website from an HTML website"

Another friend sent me loads of e-books on programming and hacking for beginners and I just couldn't get past the first stage, yet I want to be like you guys

I guess the reason I loose interest is because I'm the relational kind (I love people). If I can't relate with what is being taught as it pertains to people/humans....then I'm likely to lose interest.

The epistle above is a call for help.
1). I want to be able to contribute meaningfully to this section (with time)

2). Are programmers born or made (can just about anyone become a programmer with the right tutoring)?

You are already learning dear. To knw dat u even showed interest in d first place makes u ahead of oda guys who are not in the field of programming nd yet wanna learn. Keep contributing like dat, nd u are there in no time. Still following though. It seems it's only on ur follow(s) I comment these days #TeamProgrammer

Dont think it's a lie i have my facts with me. I dont know what these Nigerian Universities are turning to. How can a candidate dat did not even meet up to 50% of the said cutoff mark be admitted when candidates with higher scores like 50%,60% and even 70% and above are yet to be admitted. This a total injustice.
