Did you ever recommend antidepressants or mood stabilizers immediately?
An unexamined life (where u swallow everything without reflection and self- reflection) is not worth living. This means you would have prescribed medications to Socrates, Aristotle, Aneximenes, and many more.

Those are critical questions coming from a critical thinker.

It's a general thing for some categories of people - facts dont matter to the formation of opinions.
Logically -

1. If indeed it was a blown out tire, would you still insist its Nigeria's fault?
2. The video clearly shows the truck parked off the road, not on the road. And yet you say that is irrelevant to you view that the accident was caused by the parked truck. Who reasons like that?

You guys are getting things wrong here and not helping motorists learn to not overtake on the right where a vehicle might just be parked (as in this instance) or a Pedestrian standing or another road user fixing blown out tyre!

For the record, I have been in an accident (I was driving) on a highway in Lagos, where my car somersaulted and ended up on the other side of the road. I came out unscathed but I learnt my lesson. Two friends were with me. No injuries to anyone. We sat down in shock by the kerb for an hour just pondering what happened.

I will not ignore your post because you did not ignore mine. You need common sense and not CCTV cameras to see how overspeeding contributed to that accident. As the roads are bad, reckless driving is a catalyst to fatal accidents.

I never said the country is normal, but blaming the country for the clear reckless driving of an individual is a problem.

That info, I dont have to be honest. But my views as one who drives (for 30 years now) is simple: When overtaking, you watch carefully first to see what is ahead of you (and you never overtake around a blind curve - not that this was the case here, just saying) - there is simply no way this could happen with a normal careful driver. Severe recklessness was involved.

When I said - "in that window of time" dont you understand that even if it was there for five minutes, anyone driving that recklessly would meet the same fate?

Not at all good Doc. Its an inter state highway. If a truck breaks down, it may take time to be removed or even parked by the side. If anyone in that window of time is careless enough to drive with such speed while overtaking in broad day light (no fog, no rain either) and smash into it with enough velocity to destroy the vehicle at the level we saw and smash the head of one of his friends immediately into pulp, that is reckless driving.
